Style Shimmy – Personal Stylist

I am so thankful Liz was referred to me. She helped me figure out what to do with our master bedroom/​office space. She was patient, listened to my likes and dislikes, and put together a fabulous design that incorporated my taste and also introduced me to ideas I would not have thought of. I very much hope to work with Liz again in the future. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Liz has been a great choice for me as a personal stylist. What I like best about the experience is that she really listened to my needs and helped me find clothes that fit my lifestyle. (I am a stay-​at-​home mom, so comfortable shoes and clothes that go in the washer are a must.)
Over the course of 4 sessions, she helped me clean out and reorganize my closet, buy a summer wardrobe and and organize them into outfits, complete with shoes and accessories. The clothes look great and recently I have gotten so many complements. I could not have done as well if I had spent five times as many hours looking for clothes on my own.
The experience was perfect, exactly what I wanted. And I was surprised to find that it actually cost less than I was expecting!
Liz is not only very competent, she is a nice person and great to work with.

Liz is wonderful! I needed new carpet in my townhouse and didn’t know where to start — luckily I found Style Shimmy. Liz guided me through the process and listen to what I wanted (or thought I wanted) in my house. She suggested carpet patterns and colors that I had not considered before and ended up loving. This process would have been stressful for me without her expertise and support — thank you!

I’m embarrassed it’s taken me this long to rave about the level of service I received from Liz Weber when I contacted her needing an emergency wardrobe make over a couple months ago. Going from a stay at home mom to working in the professional world left me with few options to choose from when getting ready in the morning. I contacted Liz who offered to come over for an hour free consultation. She told me exactly what I needed to hear — from what mistakes I was making when shopping for myself, what shapes/​styles I needed to avoid for my body type, and what to look for when shopping on a budget. Budget was huge for me, and I really felt like she listened and didn’t flinch when I said I needed an entire new wardrobe on a shoe string budget. Another really cool thing she did was ask me what or who I was trying to emulate with my style and I had never really thought that through. It really helped define what I was looking for and I didn’t feel as though she was trying to push anything on me that I didn’t want or like — she honestly advocated for me at ever turn to get the clothes that I wanted to wear and that I would like. The next visit she helped me shop and it was so much fun! Having someone there to critically (but lovingly) tell you why something wasn’t working or how altering it would make it better was such a relief for me. I would have never ended up with the awesome wardrobe (that I love) if not for her. I will definitely be calling on her services again when I have some more disposable income. Again, best decision I ever made was to hire Liz. She took out all the stress and worry from shopping and let me have fun again in doing something that I had absolutely dreaded.

Liz was suggested by our long time friend and graphic designer Sonya at KB Designs and she was amazing. I own Skinlogic Med Spa and as I told Liz I can do big picture aesthetic but have no clue as to when it come to placing a rug, lamp, or plant, to warm up a space.
The consultation was great and she really asked some great questions. When she came back she had a plan, pictures, and great explanations. I really enjoyed how thorough she was and am really excited to start implementing her ideas to warm up the space. Looking forward to working with her in the future :)

Once again Liz Slater Weber, has given me a Style Shimmy of life changing proportion. I’m going to be the most stylish version of myself on my upcoming trip to Amsterdam and London all with the items from my own closet! Does it get better than that… Get your Style Shimmy on today – STAT!
