les Egoistes, LLC

I recently worked with Rebecca Luke, owner of les Egoistes, who gave me a image consultation. She totally made me feel like a new woman!
The first thing she did was meet with me for about an hour to review my tastes, what I like what I want to change, etc. She diligently took notes about my preferences and her thoughts on her approach to helping me «take it up a notch». We are friends, so she knew about my personality and how my current clothes worked into that. She also had a sense of how she could start me off in more stylish direction without going out of my comfort zone.
At our next meeting she went through my closet, item by item. Items that were not in line with our direction, she tastefully explained why they should be taken out of my wardrobe– how the cut wasn’t right for me, how some fabrics were better quality than others and if the style was outdated. On the other side, she explained why things we kept worked well; cut, color, fabric, texture and style. It was eye opening to say the least. My own personal image consultant!
We were not done. Her next step was to send me closet notes which outlined what she noticed about my closet and clothes and my needs by season.
Next we set-​up an appointment to shop! My favorite part! Part of her service is to play personal shopper. She shopped ahead of me, pulling items at stores within my tastes and budget. Then I met her at Anthropologie where the shopping began. We visited Nordstrom and Diesel as well. In each store she explained why she choose the items, what she was trying to accomplish with each piece and how it fit on me (most were spot on, a few didn’t work– she immediately noticed any item that wasn’t good and had me remove them). My «problem» area were my hips and booty– she picked great jeans for me (Jo Jeans for my booty). It was fun!
We also had another shopping trip for shoes. I’ve never shopped that far in advance for fall/​winter– and cannot wait to wear all the great clothes we picked. or our next shopping trip! I feel so much more confident to know what I’m wearing is stylist approved! :)
