Like the store and the shoes. Limited selection and sizes. The good service however seems to be focused on straight people and I hardley ever feel that way in Seattle. I was basically ignored, then assisted, if you could call it that, with overall indifference and a lot of resistance. Short answers, unwillingness to make suggestions, or really odd suggestions given my overall criteria. And I was willing to pay for good shoes. Won’t be back even though I’ve purchased at least 5 pairs of shoes here in the past, and a couple of very expensive ones. Had trouble with service then too. But other young and old married and clearly straight people get lots of good attention. And people often call me Sir, so yes I have know what the kind of behavior feels like and looks like since I’m over 70.

I was referred to Sole Perfection in Wallingford by a friend as we both require orthodically correct and supportive shoes. The staff here was so friendly and helpful. Kurt assisted me and went out of his way to make sure I tried on every option/style of shoe available to me in my size, which was awesome. I was impressed with the selection and that they carried size 11, which can be difficult to come by. I purchased a pair of the Poloma, Alegria for its über comfortable fit, unique design and easy on and off straps. Hands down the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned!!! Though the shoes were pricey, they were worth every penny. However, six months into wearing the shoe, one of my co-workers noticed a crack in the sole of the shoe. When I inspected them, sure enough there was a crack in the exact same spot on both pairs of shoes… I couldn’t believe it and wasn’t sure how i would ever find a pair as comfortable as those. I went back to the store and was again, met by Kurt. I told him how much I loved the shoes, but believed they might be defective as both pairs cracked in the same spot. I believed the same and intended to return them to the manufacturer… He also checked his stock and sure enough, there was exactly one pair of the Paloma, Alegria shoe in my size. He exchanged them for the broken pair at no cost to me! I was floored beyond by the gesture and that he took action. I hope these will not have the same results as the other pair as they are truly so comfy! Kurt also showed me what else he had available and I bought a pair of OOFOS flip flops which were also insanely comfortable and supportive to my very high arches AND they were on SALE! I also found another pair of work shoes that I could not leave behind from a different maker called Dansko and bought the Tandy Shoe, also with easy on off straps. I am anxious to try them out at work. Thank you, Kurt, for making my experience so above and beyond! I really appreciate your help and kindness! I will be back in soon to pick up another pair or two of those OOFOS as they came in a variety of colors! Definitely would(and have) recommended this store to anyone I know who seeks to find quality shoes that are designed for individuals with feet problems or that are just looking for really comfortable shoes!

My doctor recommended that I shop for new footwear — slippers, sandals, walking shoes and dress shoes — at Sole Perfection. So I went to their store in Fremont. The salesperson was helping me and then left me in the middle of trying on shoes to help customers that came in after me. The first rule of good manners and good service is «first come, first serve.» Nevertheless, I sat waiting to continue working with the salesperson. When I overhead her socializing with the other customer, I left the store. I emailed the owner asking that he call me so I could relay my negative experience. He did not contact me. I called the store and was told he would be in and that he would call me back. He did not. It seems like they just don’t care about treating customers with respect so I won’t return. The inventory is sparse and expensive too.

I cannot say enough about both the level of service, and the quality of the shoes at Sole Perfection Shoes. I went in with extremely sore feet and came out a new woman.

Come with an open mind and wallet. There inventory is small, and they may not have the size you want, however, this seems to be the case at many of the local comfort shoe sites that aren’t backed by a large national chain. The staff was kind and knowledgeable, and very willing to help to find what I was looking for. The prices are what I would expect, and totally within expectations. I came in looking for something specific, and they were short on stock, but were willing to help me find something else that was pretty awesome. Definitely worth a shot, especially if you don’t want to go downtown or the mall.

I cannot agree about the great service. My doctor prescribed a graphite plate insert for my shoes, and she said this was a store that carried them. I asked twice on the phone if they had these graphite plates. I chose to make the walk based on their answer, which was«yes.» Twice. But they didn’t have them. And they didn’t have the decency to apologize. The clerk said, «Well, we have them, just not in your size.» My strange, hard-to-anticipate size? MEDIUM. They made a mistake. The decent thing would have been to own up to it.

Service! Service! Service! This is a great find in the local Seattle area. If you want just comfortable OR fashion comfort this is the PLACE. They do shoes and arch supports and really work to fit your budget and your feet prices are MSRP. Service is TOP Notch!

Great service, but the shoes are marked up 100%. I am not exaggerating– I bought Merrell shoes for about $ 120, I found them elsewhere for $ 58.
