I haven’t brought anything to the dry cleaners there yet, so I can’t speak to that, but I’ve had a couple of pairs of pants hemmed there and they’ve done a great job. Most recently, I had procrastinated with an errand to visit them and was about to fly out of town in a few days. I had a new pair of hiking pants(thick cotton) with a little cuff on the bottom to make them adjustable and with hooks so you can put gators on. Right away they said they wouldn’t be able to salvage those cuffs in the hemming process. Oh well, I thought, I don’t have time to find some fancy tailor/seamstress, I’ll just have to do without. They need to be hemmed. I came back when they were supposed to be ready and they were ready WITH the original cuffs on them at no extra charge! Turns out those cuffs come in really handy to, so I think of these awesome folk every time I put the pants on. I couldn’t be happier.

Actually NO stars!!! This«business» is the worst! Do not use them. The only reason I think they are in business is because there is no competition close. Don’t do it, drive another mike and go somewhere else!!! Never seen customer service this bad before!

WONDERFULJOB, WONDERFULSERVICE!!! If you’re looking for some good quality cleaning at a reasonable, fair price… This is the place to go! The lady who does the tailoring couldn’t be friendlier. I brought a pair of legging material pants that needed hemming and she honestly told me that with this material, it’s a little harder to hem, but she will do her best. She was so sweet and honest and I was very satisfied with the results. Over all, this cleaners is very on point with everything. :) they have NEVER misplaced my clothing and there was NEVER any damage done. I know they do their best and it really shows in the results. I highly highly recommend this cleaners!

a couple of weeks ago I took a jacket in asked if the zipper could be replaced. The woman said yes, charged my credit card up front, and told me to return in a week. I did so. «Not ready. You come back Wednesday.» I let her know I wasn’t too happy, and went home. That evening, her son called me and said his Mother ordered the wrong length. I returned on Wednesday, and she pull had been replaced, nothing else, and the charge was only $ 12.00 and not the $ 38.62 I had been charged. I asked about having the refund put on my credit card. That she could not do. Finally figured out she was trying to tell me she did not know how. I told her that was a bad business practice: If you know how to charge a card, you should know how to refund it. She finally, at my insistence, caked her son who told me he did not know how either, as they did not do refunds. Reiterated bad business practice. He finally told his Mother to give me a cash refund. Her husband was also present and did not seem pleased about a refund. They appeared to expect me to just disappear without any refund. They may be good drycleaners, but as tailors and business people, they have much room for improvement

I agree with Will’s review — dry cleaners are unsung heroes! I’m on a mission to review my neighbourhood haunts — Seward Park Cleaners among them. These guys do it right Every. Single. Time. If I’m particular about a pleat(on my linen pants, for instance), they remember me, they remember my particulars, and they are quick when I need them to be. Thanks for doing everything so well. I’m always counting on you!

Aside from dry cleaning, they also do alterations. She hemmed my jeans for me and they are just the perfect length now. I actually arrived with two pairs of jeans. When I tried on the 2nd pair, she said that I really didn’t need to get them hemmed at all: and I agreed with her! Honest and friendly service: great. A tiny and clean room where you can change into your clothes: good.

This is the closest dry cleaner to my house, and since I only need to do dry cleaning once in a while, I’ve taken my stuff here twice. The first time I had a lot of stuff, both men’s and women’s items, and I didn’t really focus on the cost. Women’s clothes are pricey to dry clean. This last time, I had 5 shirts and 5 pants(all men’s), and the bill was over $ 40. I was pretty surprised. Yes, they do a great job. No complaints about the quality at all. I just had a little sticker shock. Seriously, the same amount of clothes back east would cost about $ 25. Oh well, it *is* hard to find a good dry cleaner, and I guess for the infrequent number of times I go now, I can pay the premium price for the premium service.

Dry cleaning is unsung valor. You get it right and no one complains. No thumbs up, no attaboy, no pat on the back. You get it wrong and you’ve just turned my shirt into a piece of toast, and I’m not happy. Seward Park Cleaners & Tailors have gotten it right each time. And when they felt they weren’t able to do the job, they were honest and forthright about it: «Sorry, we couldn’t get this particular stain out. [opening my shirt and showing me]. We really tried and tried, we’re really sorry!» or «Sorry, we can’t replace the zipper on your leather jacket, we just don’t have a machine that strong.» Wish you could, I’d like to get that jacket mended, but thanks for letting me know up front! I’ve brought in my best suit with coffee and/or wine stains on it. I’ve brought in silk shirts that I’ve spilled stuff on. I’ve brought in a goose down comforter my dogs peed on. I brought in a new rug that… yeah the dog peed on as well. All cleaned and like new.
