Alexander has helped bring me back to life, literally! 2 years ago I was in a bike accident where an SUV hit me and threw me into a coma. I spent the next 6 months(after waking up) resting and rehabing. My body was injured, weak and compromised. Alexander took me from my weakest and brought me to my strongest. He knew just what to do in relation to my injuries and how to work with them to bring them back to health without re-injuring anything. I’ve been working with Alexander for 2 years and I’ve never been in better shape. I’m in better shape than before my injury and it’s all thanks to the care and meticulous detail in Alexander’s programing for me. If you’re looking for a trainer who really knows his stuff, look no further. Alex is the real deal!

Alexander is the best! I’ve been working with him for a little over a year and half. As an endurance runner I wanted to add a strengthening element to my training program. Not only did Alexander work with me on strength training but he focused on things that were important for running and added a big mobility element to my training program. When I started I was not being able to squat. Alexander worked out every aspect and tailored my workouts. Now I can do a squat using different variations. One of my big goals when I started was to run a marathon in under 4 hours. In just six months going thru Alexander’s program, I was stronger, more mobile, and I ran the Eugene Marathon in 3:57! I highly recommend Alexander and Seattle Strength and Conditioning!

I trained with Alex through most of 2014, a few times a week, and knew from the first session I had found an extremely qualified personal trainer. I require patience, explanations and concepts to fully benefit from any exercise with a trainer. Alex is very knowledgeable, explains things clearly with no confusion and can quickly adjust an exercise for any ailment you might have that day. Not only is he aware of all weight lifting equipment, resistance exercises, and stretches he also can modify or create new ways to use a muscle group with simple equipment. He also raised my awareness for how important mobility work is to reduce the amount of stiffness or soreness for any given muscle area. I can say with confidence that signing up with Alex will get you where you want to be on all health and fitness levels/goals. Nutrition is my biggest challenge and that ones on me. He will give you all the tools you need to be easily successful. You just have to show up and do the work. Plus he will keep you smiling too.

I have been working with Alexander from Seattle Strength and Conditioning for a year and a half now and I couldn’t be happier about my results! He is extremely knowledgeable about training, nutrition and physiology and tailors each of his clients’ programs exactly to their specific needs. In addition to strength training, I also consulted Alexander in coming back from a minor shoulder injury. His plan helped me recover quickly and safely, with little interruption to my training schedule. I am also extremely happy with my training plan. In the last 18 months, training for 3 days a week, I have had different workouts each time I come to train. No two workouts are ever the same. Alexander is also very personable and makes training sessions challenging, but also a lot of fun and a great learning experience. I highly recommend Alexander if you are looking for a personalized training plan and if you are focused on getting the most out of your workouts.
