This review is just for the bakery. I’ve never tried the bubble tea. The owners here are super friendly! We were recommended this place by a family friend and we ordered our wedding cake here. It was a huge hit. A three tiered cake of pandan and fruits and it was demolished. It looked just like the picture we provided and they delivered it day of from Seattle to Tacoma. Whenever we have a craving for cake we order a small one. It’s very reasonable priced and usually ready in a few hours. Love!

Reviews just based on the boba not the bakery. I usually try milk tea wherever I go to gauge a boba place and I didn’t like the drink or the actual bobas here. The drink was really sweet and the boba was hard rather than chewy.

Bubble tea here was too powdery. Smoothie is ok. Tapioca taste like store bought and not made there. Service is good though. Price is reasonable. Will not come back for the bubble tea but might come back to try the pastries.

We had a chance to stop by this place again on our second trip to Seattle this weekend to buy some more of those delish cream puffs to bring home. This time we ordered a few dozens of cream puffs(for myself and family), some pâté chauds and Banh com(the square green-colored sweet with mung bean inside). I was told those 3 are the store’s specialties. My mom was able to chat with the couple who are the owners of the bakery and found out that they used to live in the same village in northern Vietnam way back before 1954. How strange was that! We ordered the treats over the phone the day before so this time we just came by to pick them up. I can’t wait to get my hands on those delish cream puffs again. Wonder how long those will last :)

We came in looking to find these highly talked about cream puffs. We were not at all disappointed. THEYAREAMAZING! The woman who helped us was very nice and allowed us to purchase just two cream puffs(usually come in a box of 6). And at a price of $ 00.50 each, it’s a big time deal. The cream puffs are a «must know about» item. Light as air, and the custard filling is fantastic. I am not a bubble tea fan per-say, but I really liked what they have going on and plan to come back for more.

This rating is for the bubble tea alone — which was pretty much over-sweetened soy milk with rubbery tapioca and weird-tasting ice. Won’t be returning.

Worst bubble tea I’ve ever had. They filled half the cup with ice, very little tapioca and it just tasted like sugar water. Never again.

I’ve only been in for their Vietnamese Iced coffee, every time I am in the area. The folks working here have always been nice and friendly. Tonight I finally had a cake from them! My parents bought my birthday cake and all I can say is it was sooo good! The flavor they picked was pandan, with vanilla custard & fruit filling. I am not into very sweet cakes, the one that makes you almost go into a diabetic shock. Ain’t nobody got time for diabeeetus! Anyways the cake was so soft and moist, the whipped cream frosting was really like clouds. Instead of the usual roses adorning the cake, I had orchids! How awesome is that? He even wrote my name with the accent mark and all, not too surprising at a Vietnamese bakery, but when you’re used to your name being written in plain English, this becomes a nice surprise. I am not sure as to how much the cake cost, since I didn’t buy it but whatever it was, was worth it! I will be back for the avocado bubble tea!

What more could you want for a $ 3 sandwich? I had the #8 tofu, and it was marinated and not dry And crispy. The healthiest $ 3 you can find

This was the second out of three bakeries that I hit the other day where I bought baked goods and took them home to share with Steve. This place, as the name indicates specializes in bubble tea but the day I spent walking around downtown was just too cold to get any. The place is more bakery than anything else and it looks like they have quite a bit to offer in that regard. Picking items that you consider buying is a bit tedious because none of them are labeled as to what it is. I was eyeing a green slice of cake to purchase and the lady behind the counter asked if I ever had it before. My answer was«no» in which she replied and implied that for first timers at her shop the flavor may be too different and that if you are not used to it you may not like it. What exactly this cake was still eluded me and she did not address or was not very clear what it was either. To me it looked like a cake with green tea in it which is harmless enough but anyway moving on… The bakery lady did suggest I get a six pack box of their cream puffs and that is what I got after it was all said and done. The cream puffs were actually very good! They were a bit soggy it seemed where the filling was but otherwise they had a great taste to them and I devoured my alotted amount in a very short time!

This is the only place I’ll go to to get bubble tea or cream puffs in Little Saigon. I would recommend getting # 13 — Xao sao banh lot or # 14 — Che Ba Mau. Both are delicious. I’ve also tried samples of their cream puffs, which are really good. They also do Birthday & Wedding cakes, but I’ve never tried those. The owners are really nice and they have good customer service.

Twelve bubble tea options, most made with powder — all $ 3.00 each. No seating, takeout only. Can’t comment on the baked goods. Meh. I’d rather pay $ 4.00 and get a higher quality, fresh bubble tea.

Their cakes are so light and fresh with just the perfect sweetness. I recently bought a Spider-Man sheet cake from them that was just perfect – so moist and filled with fresh fruit and fresh whipped cream. The design was flawless as well! Thank you Saigon bakery for making my 5 year old’s party that much more awesome!

Stopped in only for the bubble tea. I was actually looking for a bubble tea café so I assumed this was it. A hole in the wall bakery which does look like they specialize in great cakes but the bubble tea and options were lacking. Not so much variety!

Whenever I’m in the international district, I go here. I get the pork sandwiches and avocado bubble tea. It is with real avocado and delicious! The owners are friendly and remember me!

There signature dishes are the red sticky rice and cream puffs! Yummie! The sticky rice is soft, moist and flavorful. The trick to good sticky rice is balancing the moistness and flavor without making it dry or soggy. I do not like sticky rice that is dry or soggy.
