It is a small, quiet beach on the Western Shore of Lake Washington. Amenities include a swimming raft and lifeguards on duty in the summer. I absolutely love this park. I went for my first yesterday. Stayed almost an hour. The rest of our time was just exploring. Sitting at the dock was by far the best time of my day. I was glad to see that the whole park itself wasn’t covered in too much litter. If you’re in the area and need time to kill, this is a deffinite go-to-spot. So glad there’s a place to indulge in nature theraphy in Seattle. I came across this park ramdomly walking thru the hood. Its not a very big park by any means. It’s nice little spot to have«me time» I guess you could say, haha. It’s beautiful, quite and serene. Pritchard Island Beach is located in the Rainier Beach area, north of Beer Sheva Park. Several large cottonwoods flutter in the breeze as swimmers head for the raft, where they spring into the air from high and low diving boards. Others just sit on the beach admiring the view of Seward Park to the north and Mercer Island to the east. You’ll find this a fine, quiet complement to the Atlantic City beach to the south, since there is no boat ramp ruckus here. Bathhouse is a great spot for your community gathering, family reunion, wedding or other event. BEACHFEATURES: * Guarded Beach * Weddings and Ceremonies * Rental Facility * Public Restroom * Paths * View * Waterfront * Restrooms(ADA Compliant) * Swim Raft * Drinking Fountain * Parking

Friendly people are always there. Nice view and very clean. Love going there and just looking out into the water. Great place to just relax.

Used the bathhouse for a party. Nice local venue. Good price, pleasant and helpful staff. Wished they had AC, windows that opened or at least fans because it was a warm evening. But we hustled up a couple of fans and opened the doors and they kept it a good temperature.

I truly love this little hidden gem near our place. The beach itself isn’t sandy perfection, but there’s plenty of grass to lay on, a lifeguard and even free swim lessons at 6pm most nights(of the warm season, naturally) The parking lot is easily accessible and you can find an ice cream truck there when you need it, which is always a plus. Bathrooms, life jackets to borrow in the club house: what more could you need? A bit hard to find, maybe that’s why it’s not too crowded most of the time, and while I’d like to keep it that way, I know you need a place to take the kids for a swim so I’ll let you in on this little secret spot.
