Cute little park right off the side of Lake Washington Blvd. Big sandy area with kids toys such as a little playground and some swings. There are bathrooms on site. Pretty decent sized dock, I see a lot of people fishing here in the mornings. Popular spot during the summer, good place to jump off the dock — there is a lifeguard on duty(summer only). Lots of kids come here. One side of the dock is pretty shallow, you can just walk into the water and then out as far as you want to go. The other side you climb down a small ladder into a about waist deep water. Watch out for the drop off, it’s a big one. Try swimming out to one of the floating logs, it’s a lot further than you think. Bring some goggles too — there are definitely little fish in that water. Hope you don’t mind seaweed and other water plants, there are a lot. Ew. Also be sure you look up — there is a bald eagle that likes to hang out and swoop down for fish sometimes that is normally up in the only giant tree there. He is one of the biggest ones I’ve ever seen! Nice, clean, small, just your basic park. Bring a picnic basket and hangout, or go fishing. Though it is really pretty watching the sunset from this beach, also try going when it is foggy — it is so beautiful seeing the water topped with a thick layer of fog! Pretty creepy, but beautiful!
