Simply put: A great neighborhood pizza and beer joint. Tasty pies with a wide variety of micros in a comfortable setting. Love this place.

Great happy hour! Overall, above average pizza and calzones. Happy hour lands you an enormous personal pizza for like $ 6. It seems much larger than what they say you get. They make a decent side salad too. The pizza reminds of a mix of a pub-style pizza and a slightly upscale pizza. They have a good array of fresh tasting ingredients. It’s also a bar with a cool pub atmosphere and a quaint patio in the summer. Great place for a beer and happy hour Za!

Pazzo’s is a pretty solid spot in the Eastlake neighborhood for after-work drinks and pizza/calzones! They have a pretty good selection of beers and ciders on tap, as well as some interesting cocktails. Their pizzas are generally pretty good and decently priced, and their calzones are huuuggeee and generously stuffed. The salad that comes with the calzones is good and surprisingly large, too, so I’d definitely recommend the calzone/salad combo.

I came in with my boyfriend. We were seated right away. The serving staff was friendly and took our order right away. I had the Di Maggio Calzone. They let me substitute my olives for Kalamata olives. It was a perfcet calzone! It was soooo good. I can’t wait to come back and try others. My only complaint was their choice of music. bleh!

Stopped by to get some food before a meeting and was able to take advantage of their happy hour. When I came in, I was unsure if it was open seating and was going to ask the cook, but he just glared at me while talking on his phone. I decided to have a seat at the bar. Carlos, the bartender, noticed me quickly and provided quick service. I ordered a pizza and salad, and for $ 6 each they were both of good size and tasted pretty decent. Carlos was the only person serving while there were three cooks in the kitchen, which confused me on why my request for no onions was not met. Two of the cooks did seem to be a bit grungy, one was wearing a white beater and another was in a dirty white t-shirt. If you’re going to have an open kitchen at least be aware of how you look.

Happened to visit on the 4th of July and the place was hotter inside than out. But I’ve learned that’s to be expected in Seattle where air conditioning is an after-thought. Pazzo’s has good food. Nothing that will make you go «Wow!», just your standard pizza joint. The calzones are better than the pizza, imho. What I found funny is they serve their food on the tiniest of plates, maybe to help the carb-conscious eat less. Who knows. But both the salad and the pizza were overflowing off the plate which made eating it a little awkward. Service was least impressive. It wasn’t very busy despite the holiday, but they moved at an irritatingly snail pace here.

I probably won’t ever be back. I went in during lunch break and waited by the bar for a good few minutes before anyone helped me. There were a total of maybe 6 people in the entire restaurant. Even after making eye contact with the hostess and cook, I still didn’t receive any service, so I grabbed a menu myself and went straight to the bar and gave the cook my order. The hostess was in and out of the restaurant and didn’t acknowledge I was there until the owner came in. The owner«officially» took my order and was extremely friendly. Ordered a personal slice(mushroom and pepperoni) with a side Caesar. Both were disappointing. I love pizza and have very low standards b/c you can’t really go wrong, but they went wrong. The pepperoni tasted strange and the Caesar dressing had an anchovies taste to it, which I don’t like.

The pizza is good. I appreciate the lift and crispy crust. The sauce is underwhelming, as are the toppings. They offer a nice selection of beers and specialty cocktails. So why the four stars? They offer a fantastic happy hour. I cannot wait to I back.

Gentleman answering phone on 4⁄3 at 8:30pm continuously hanging up on me for asking questions. I called back a second time to ask my second question and asked why I got hung up on and he hung up on me again. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I live in Eastlake and will be sharing this through out the community. This place will never get my business. Learn how to test your customers.(If I could give a no star I would’ve)

This place was pretty good. Bf and I decided to check it out because he was craving pizza. I had the mozzarella and tomato plate which is always good and I ordered a berry pie and ice cream for dessert which was really good. My bf loved the pizza but even more he loved the calazon. Our waitress was very friendly also. Def recommend.

Good pizza NOT!!#. I’ve had better pizza frozen. No sauce, pizza had no taste, Tony ‘s frozen pizza tastes better. Glad I bought a salad, because I threw the pizza out. $ 32 for a crappy pizza and a salad. A waste of good earned money. Very disappointed . I recommend going elsewhere!!!

How I heard of this place: Through the Entertainment Book. But now that I have sampled an amazing, perfectly fluffy and cheesy calzone, I’m hooked. Type of cuisine: Casual, home-cooked Italian with no accoutrements. Ambiance: The space is open and lined with windows along the front. A large bar area is available and seems to be frequented by regulars, off-duty staff and friends. The restaurant is very spacious with chairs and tables available for diners throughout, as well as much open space. That space void of furniture seems is reminiscent of a dance floor, and with the loud music, circa 1980s, may just as well be! Just as the food is unpretentious, simple and tasty, the staff(at least on this visit) are accordingly devoid of flair. Very casual and simple, no fuss or unnecessary clutter. What I ordered: Three of us chose to split two calzones($ 10.95 each) on this visit, which made for the perfect amount of food to stuff our stomachs! One calzone(the names of each have eluded me) included spicy sausage, pepperoni, fresh basil, mozzarella cheese and ricotta. The second, including a few of my own substitutions, came with pepperoni, green bell peppers, onion, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and gorgonzola. Each calzone comes with a side salad of iceberg lettuce, tomato and croutons topped with a creamy garlic dressing. We ordered an additional salad for $ 2. What I loved: The calzones really cannot be beat! The cheesy inside, the spicy pepperoni and the fluffy, soft but crisp dough. Melts in your mouth. The dressing on the salads, reminiscent of the creamy Italian dressing at the Spaghetti Factory, was delicious and not overpowering. Why I loved it: The food is good, the space casual enough for a last-minute lunch and despite the long wait for food, well worth the cost in terms of gustatory satisfaction! Cost: Average($ 10 for lunch entrée including a side salad)

Collective review for a handful of lunches this year. Pazzo’s has been an Eastlake fixture seems like forever… at least dating back to the early to mid 1990s for me. This is a find for lunch with ample street parking and decent food, especially if you want to escape the lunch bunch crowds in the UDistrict, Fremont, or South Lake Union. I enjoy the pizza slice offerings w/wow ginormous salads, plus calzone selections are terrific too. Good if you want to actually feel relaxed and have a conversation, hit or miss with water/soda refills though. Seems one gets better service with proximity to the bar. Still a decent find if you don’t want to spend a lot at nearby sandwichy, fusion, Italian, and Thai places. One can eat at Pazzo’s and still have enough to splurge on a coffee at nearby Voxx.

My partner and I randomly stopped here one day as we were heading home from something not important enough for me to remember. We were starving and didn’t care to read Unilocal reviews prior to stepping in. So we stepped in. On a whim, we ordered the Matisse calzone and a 10″ personalized pizza. The calzone had potential. The dough was so thin on the bottom that the entire contents leaked through! Aside from that, the flavor was great and ingredients tasted fresh. Re: Pizza… sorry Pazzo’s, but you have a lot of work to do. The crust is too thin and soggy and is topped with so much cheese that a piece is difficult to hold comfortably in your hand. Not a huge deal but we were improperly charged for a 20″ pizza instead of a 10″. Glad I said something, otherwise our entire order would have been $ 40 + I will probably skip a Pazzo’s visit in the future, no matter how hungry I am.

Pazzo’s? more like Hobo’s. Seriously, all the pizza makers look like angry homeless people at this joint. Absolutely no hairnets or gloves. Do you want a nasty old beard unleashed on your pizza? And does that count as vegan? Now for the food, the pizza is 3⁄5 at best. They do have some interesting combinations that I am tempted to try out like the garlic shrimp pizza. But I am totally grossed out by the pizza makers. I have been here twice and both times the service was categorically cold. Especially when we were taking out one time. I don’t recommend this restaurant unless you are starving to death and everything else is closed. Just make some effort and walk to any other place on Eastlake like Louisa Café, Le fournil’s or Eastlake Grill.

Since my family and i moved here from Philadelphia a few months ago, we have had a hard time finding a consistently great pizza joint… meaning, a place where you can bring your family, or your boys, or even just by yourself. Its laid back, but there is no lack of attention from the crew, all of them are professional and welcoming, as well as friendly and fun loving. The food? Sofa King Delicious! We have done a decent rotation through all of the fresh veggie options, but the Miguel is our favorite(peep the menu)! If you are near Capital Hill or Eastlake, this should be your weekly pizza place.

This was, hands down, an awful experience. It was a waste of a lunch hour, disappointing, and and regrettable. We showed up on a Friday afternoon for lunch, sat ourselves at a table near the window and after perusing the menu waited 10 minutes for the waitress who was clearly stretched-too-thin to come and take our order… …20 mins go by… Finally our food arrived! We both ordered calzones, which when they showed up looked incredible, crisped hand made crust, that looked flaky and buttery… But when arrived, it was cold. Not as in «not hot» but more like the inside was still refrigerated They asked us if we wanted it nuked, which was moderately appalling. I don’t want my food microwaved when I’m paying to eat out, I want it cooked the first time. Long story short, they nuked it, it tasted horrid. No flavor, texture if cardboard, no red sauce… They took one if them off the bill…

Super psyched to have found another awesome happy hour place within walking distance to our place! Pazzo Happy hour: $ 3 well drinks and $ 3 draft beers(with a pretty excellent selection of local brews and not swill like coors or bud). $ 6 foods: garlic/cheese bread, fresh mozzerella plate(caprese style), mini pizza and salad. All in all, a pretty sweet deal! Hours: 3−6pm daily and late night Sun-Thur! Ordered: mozzerella plate it was super delish! Ain’t nothin better than fresh mozzo plus some tasty kalamata olives(even my bf who hates olives ate a bunch!) Sicillian Calzone to share for two people was a great portion per person. The smell was orgasmic. Roasted garlic, saltiness, cheese. Oddly, the smell was more flavorful than the taste, but it might have been because it was undersalted. Either way, it was still hot and fresh and I ate all of it, happily!!! Probably the best calzone I’ve ever had. Definitely will be coming back here for more hh and calzones!
