This place is a small family run restaurant with friendly atmosphere. I love going there for breakfast or brunch. They have a variety of yummy omelets. The best part about this restaurant is serving Vita coffee. I love the coffee stand outside of the restaurant. They are open from 6:30am to around 1:30 pm. Simply the best coffee around this neighborhood. The owner of the restaurant is a sweet Greek lady. Her son and daughter are also amazing and they work at the restaurant. They welcome you with their great attitude, food and service.

I went last week and it was closed. I inquired inside the actual business and apparently this stand is only available during the summer, not year-round. The Unilocal page for this business needs to be updated to reflect its actual season and hours. I left one star for this oversight, I wasted half my lunch hour on it.

A fabulous place to get great tacos late at night. Super friendly and casual, interesting twists on familiar favorites. I love the falafel taco with tzatziki sauce and Sriracha! So good! Definitely check this place out during the week and weekend.

The falafel tacos are awesome! Great addition to Eastlake. I got so much food, I couldn’t even finish. Can’t wait to try the other kinds of tacos.

A full stomach of amazing tacos all for under $ 10? I’m in! If you have quite the busy schedule and are not much of a chef like me, you rely on places like these! My only regret is that I hadn’t found it sooner… This place is awesome, and the owner is really down-to-earth; genuinely just a nice guy that appreciates your business. I had the diablo shrimp, beef bulgolgi, and baby back ribs tacos; all of which did not disappoint! Some things that might be useful information to you: –They’ll bring your food next door if you’re at Zoo Tavern. –They take debit/credit. –The menu changes slightly every so often, but these guys can’t do any wrong with what they dish up. I’ll be back – REALSOON!

Simply put… I love this place. Best tacos around. It’s tough to compete as the little guy with so many great restaurants in the neighborhood. But if you’re going to do it, you should do it like these guys. The menu is fairly small. 5 different tacos, a few sandwiches, chicken, and some ribs. So you may have 10 items to choose from. Which means these guys only have to get 10 items right. And they nail it. I work on Capitol Hill. But I during the nights that these guys are open I will save my dinner time feeding habits till I get home on Eastlake. It’s worth waiting for. The chicken tacos are AMAZING. The ribs are perfect. Some of the best in Seattle. I don’t even eat fries but find myself chomping on all of my friends when I’m here. I have only been impressed with what these guys have to offer. On top of that, the owner is really nice. He’s genuinely grateful to have you eating his food and you’re spending your money with him. I truly hope these guys do well and make something of their little establishment. On top of all that… it’s really affordable. You could spend $ 40 at any of the nice places on Eastlake for dinner or $ 10 here. You’re taste buds won’t know the difference but you’re wallet will.

We just moved into the neighborhood and all the dishes are still packed up. This was our first place to visit and what an awesome surprise. The tacos are non traditional but that is the best part. My fiancé had the bulgogi while I had the diablo shrimp. And to top the food off the service was great. The staff really makes you feel welcomed, like you’re part of the family.

My first ever Unilocal review is credited to some cravings for some good, cheap food around 8:30PM. After years of being just a passive user of Unilocal’s magical food-finding ways, I decided that 14 Carrot Taco Stand is worth sitting down and writing a review for. This is Eastlake, a chill neighborhood of Seattle that gets quiet and dark long before Capitol Hill’s nightlife even begins. There are plenty of fancy places to sit down and eat, but nothing really hits that quick takeout market. Miles, the owner of this awesome taco stand thought the same thing and decided to do something about it by opening up this Thurs-Sat evening stand that uses the 14 Carrot Café kitchen. They have four taco options and I tried all of them in one sitting. DELICIOUS! The selection is diverse, ranging from BBQ ribs, chicken satay, chicken tikka masala, and falafel. I speedily grew in love with the chicken satay taco. The BBQ ribs taco was also spectacular. After living in Eastlake for a year, I finally have my go-to late-night cravings food joint. If the food wasn’t enough to make me an instant returning customer, the staff make things even better. Miles remembered my name well into my third taco. We talked the whole time I was there. The cook was the one who concocted some of these tasty taco ideas and he even came out and chatted a bit. This taco stand is only 9 weeks old. I’m hoping it gets more popular so it can be open longer and on more nights! Oh and if you eat 12 tacos in one sitting, you get to rename a taco! Making this a goal for the near-future!

This place is fantastic. We tried the falafel and BBQ ribs tacos and both were divine. The falafel is pretty spicy so not kid friendly unless you leave off the sriracha. My kid gobbled the ribs one up and wanted more and more and more. Friendly service. Fast food prep. We’ll be back. A lot.

Jeff and I were just walking past 14 Carrot Café on a Saturday night on our way to Little Water Cantina. Lo and behold, there’s a pop-up taco stand and a nice fella shilling tacos right there on the street! Now, why would we walk all the way to Little Water for very expensive tacos when we could get fun and reasonably priced tacos right there? Answer: We would not. I especially enjoyed the falafel taco and Jeff was keen on the Kalbi beef taco. The guys running the stand were super nice. You should go grab some tacos there on the weekend(I think they’re only there Friday and Saturday nights) so they stick around.

Excellent tacos. We each got one of each of the four flavors on offer this evening and spent the next 20 mins trying to figure out which was the favorite for the next round. Never did quite name a fav — I’ll call it a three way tie for first place by falafel, chicken tikka masala and bulgogi. Bbq rib was second place. Had to order a couple more because they were so good. Everything is made FRESH and at $ 3 they are a steal. Rumor has it they will be adding more flavors to the line up soon. YuM! If you eat the most of any of the flavors, you get name the taco. Record is 10. I am pretty sure I could eat 10 of these(a lot of food but yummy enough to be doable) but out would be hard to pick just one flavor. ;)

The falafel, the falafel, the falafel is all I’ve been able to think about since I had my first taco at 14 Carrot Taco Stand two weeks ago. Went back again last night and had the sampler set: one of each kind. Fresh ingredients, tons of flavors, variety of non-Mexican tacos, friendly people who remember you, and an interesting«show» on Eastlake as the night progresses. Can’t wait to see what happens when they’ve been open for more than a month!

I’m not even a vegetarian and I am obsessed with their falafel tacos. The bulgogi tacos are also super yum! Love the service too. Hungry customers at the Zoo Tavern can get their tacos delivered straight to them in the bar, while they are in the middle of playing pool or shuffleboard. Fusion tacos, incidentally, go great with IPAs and lagers!

Amazing Tacos!!! This taco stand is run after the 14 Carrot Café(Which is only open for breakfast and dinner) closes. These guys have the best tacos in town, and so nice to be in the neighborhood. If I lived here I would get one on the way home every night! The price is right, the food is delicious and the customer service is outstanding. They will name a Taco after you if you buy the most tacos of that type that day! Next time I visit Seattle I will be sure to stock up on the Chicken Tikka Masala Taco, and the BBQ rib taco so they will be named the Kelly haha! I hope they open up a stand in my neighborhood soon!
