I’ve ordered from here a few times, all of them were bad experiences. They have messed up my simple orders each time, including trying to give me the wrong pizza which had clearly been sitting out for quite awhile and saying it was mine. The employees are rude, uneducated, and almost disrespectful. I had to repeat my order four times when calling in my order, to only have them call me back twice after that to confirm it again. I just tried calling them to place a quick order for pick-up, and at 8:15pm the phone ran forever with no answer… 45 minutes before they even close. Horrible service, horrible food, horrible location!

The only other pizza I consider to be 1 Star level pizza(Amante being the other). Papa Murphy’s is the kind of pizza you get if you plan on bringing it home and doing your own thing to it(adding spices, toppings, etc…). Do NOT eat this on its own. It’s worse than take and bake Safeway pizza. The crust taste like dough, the toppings taste old and bland, and sauce isn’t even good. It’s like they used off brand marinara and just threw it on there. You don’t even save any money ordering uncooked pizzas from them. Shoot, compared to other chains(Dominos/Pizza Hut), you pay more. Why would you ever pay more for a considerably worse pizza that you had to cook yourself in your own crappy oven? Pizza ovens are specifically designed to make pizza taste better. Standard ovens don’t accomplish that as well. Papa Murphy’s is not a place that should exist. It only serves as a starter for making your own pizza if you don’t want to make your own dough. This place should be avoided at all costs.

First time stopping in. Two guys working, both moving at about 1⁄8th speed. Guy in front of me is getting his entire meal comped(including grabbing extra drinks) because of his religious affiliation with the worker. I have repeated my order 10 times before the cash register guy gets it right(2 pizzas, one pepperoni thin crust and one Hawaiian). Seriously, twilight zone. Time from entry to exit is 32 minutes. Whoever owns this place should reevaluate their investment.

I called and ordered pizza for my husband to pick up since they have a new gluten free option! They warned me that they were cash only today due to their system being down, told me it would take forty minutes !!! to make, and would be $ 34 for one med and one large pizza… Ouch. I had them hold off on making it but save the order til I could see if my husband had enough cash. He did, and was only a few minutes away so he decided to drop in and see if it would really take that long. They took under five minutes to assemble the pizzas and took the bill down to $ 26! Be warned if you use this location that they said their credit card machine goes down two to three times a week. The pizzas were tasty, very cheesy, and didn’t take too long to bake(16 minutes). Their gluten free crust was impressive but came partially pre-cooked so the crust was really crispy. But I enjoyed the crispy part that was underneath the mountain of toppings!

Something is wrong here. Employees are not working together and don’t seem too know what’s going on with the orders. Wait is 30 minutes, which almosts never happens here. Seems to be a management problem. I will give the place one more shot after this in case this is a fluke, but if the service doesn’t improve, I won’t be back.

I have used this location since they opened around 2000. Like many other businesses, Papa Murphy’s is a franchise operation, while there are corporate standards individual franchises vary more or less, this is the worst one. Besides being just a consumer, I worked at two different pizza places in college. I managed my shifts in the second one and I do know a thing or two about pizza. Free advice, without going into details, if you can not see the prep avoid combos or order the combo minus one ingredient. I happen to like the idea of baking a pizza at home so papa murphy’s appeals to me and I am not sure if there is any competition yet. We don’t eat fast food much so Papa Murphy’s has become the go to pizza place we use a few times a year. This Papa Murphy’s location has one main benefit: It is closest to my place. Since opening it has gone from one star in the beginning, peaked at three stars and fallen back down to one star again. I don’t want to bore you with old stories, but the initial one star came due to a heavy dose of attitude of the some of the employees and the lack of cleanliness. Not being a wall flower, I was always able to fix those with equally evil stares and demands to wash hands, demanding gloves and refusing pizzas unless re-done if need be. Then the over the years the crew changed and most of the attitude went largely away, there is still some at times. But not the open hostility some employees displayed, now I just had to keep an eye on the prep. Some employees are better than others. At the peak of this franchise I would have given three stars. A few weeks ago my wife went for the first time this year. We often get the Veggie gourmet pizza. This time there was a serious lack of toppings. My wife asked the employee to add the proper amount of veggies and the employee responded that costs had gone up and she could not do that without an extra charge. My wife took it as is and added stuff at home since we needed a pizza. Last pizza there she figured. No kidding about costs, we must not have noticed, nice to be told… The employee forgot to mention that Papa Murphy’s prices have gone up substantially since initial opening. Today I purchased the same pizza in a Papa Murphy’s in Issaquah off Gilman. Very friendly service, super clean and where it counts, the pizza is a approximately 1⁄3 thicker than the one from the location I am reviewing. I like to support businesses in our part of town. I want this place to be great, but I can’t support a place that is skimming their customers. Why do people on the Eastside with a much higher average incomes get more for the same amount of money? As a result, I am done with this place, buy some place else if you can

Stopped in at this location to pick up a «Perfect Pizza» to bake for dinner. The storefront was clean and everything looked to be in good working order. The staff was friendly and very helpful(another customer had a lot of questions) although its always a bad look when friends of the employees are hanging out generally being noisy and distracting. After ordering it was only a minute or two before I was on my way with pizza in hand.

I have to agree with another review on here and say this is the worst Papa location I’ve been to. Just as the other person put it I don’t have anything against Papa Murphys. but this spot is terrible. I went in on a craving and waited in a pretty long line(which is normal for a dinner rush) and decided to observe the employees and customers. There was a girl sitting and waiting for her three pizzas that looked like she had been waiting for years… she was obviously upset as she left. This was my first warning. I decided to stay and watch and see how things went. ‘Maybe that customer was just abnormally impatient’ I thought to myself. Instead it just got worse. The poor manager had to help out the cashier that obviously didn’t know how to use the machine. While waiting for 10 minutes she was helping the same customer. When the problem got resolved with the cashier, the manager(or at least who I assume was the manager, because she seemed like she was the only one working) went back to the assembly line. The other fellow looked relieved that it appeared there were no pizzas to make. Which gave me some hope. Then the manager realized he had cleared a bunch of tickets that were up on the line so it looked like there were no pizzas to make, when actually there was a huge list of pizzas to make. At that point I had to leave because I didn’t want to wait any longer. I don’t know if the employees were stoned or just incompetent but unfortunately I will not return to this location.

Always solid. I love Papa Murphy’s pizza there is always fresh ingredients, it is quick and cheap(for huge pizzas)! This particular was fine and dandy. The staff was friendly and quick. I will be back.

Ok, let me start by stating that I have nothing against Papa Murphy’s pizza. In fact, I love it, you just cant beat a cheap take home pie when you need dinner in a pinch. With that said, I will go on to tell you that this is the WORST location I have ever been to. I live half a block away so I was happy to find out I had a «go-to» pizza spot. Let the joy stop there. 9 out of 10 times I visit there is no cheese bread, and no employee willing or able to make any. I have been told they ran out… Being that my cousin used to work for PM’s I know that to be an impossibility unless they happen to be out of dough. Most every time(barring one or two trips) I get my pizza, it is thrown together with copious portions of sauce and limited toppings, strewn about the pie without any detail. I love sauce but when my pizza comes out soggy after 14 min @ 425 degrees I am just disappointed. Here comes the kicker: My cousin moved here about a month or two ago looking for work. He lives with me and we have ventured over for a pizza twice since he has been here with less than mediocre results. Both times no cheese bread, and no F*%#S were given. So my cousin has tried to apply for work there to help turn the business around and Chris(the District MANAGER) could care less. They have no on site manager to do job interviews. My cousin has contacted Chris multiple times trying to schedule a time for an interview(not to mention the time to bring to light the terrible service this business is «providing») only to be told, by the dist. manager himself, that they are not looking to fill any positions. Chris, I hope you take the time to read this, as I am taking the time to look for your boss, to speak about your lack of professional courtesy. When someone asks for a job interview, at the place you are in charge of running and you turn them down, you might want to be sure your business is running on all cylinders. Pros: cheap pizza CONS: No manager on site, lack of professionalism, poorly made pizza, bad customer service.

Half the price of any delivery you’ll find, and twice as good. Best pizza everytime!

Pleasantly, pleasantly surprised. First time there. Got the Thai Chicken Pizza. It was fresh and delicious and at a great price. It was HALF the cost of what I pay for the pizza place up the street and I have to imagine, a tad healthier. If the location was closer, we could be in big trouble.
Let’s say 2 ½ stars. First, let me start with the most indellible memory of the experience-the flies flying around the waiting area. There were two of them. Had they found their way to the ingredients? You tell me. The ordering experience, then, wasn’t very satisfying. Papa Murphy’s isn’t a bad chain-but this one only had two employees working(one, the manager who was camped out in back until the other employee asked her to punch in my order-she didn’t know how to use the register«I’ll have to learn how that thing works someday» what? The pizza itself wasn’t bad-I’m not sick yet, so that’s a good thing. I was just turned off by the flies… no flies around my food!!!

Two stars for convenient location and two stars for reasonable price. Whoa, let’s take back one of the stars; it’s not that cheap. We tried the Garlic Chicken pizza. Salty. Next time we are in the neighborhood in the evening and feel like indulging… we will go next door to Hollywood Video and pick up some flicks. More filling and satisfying.

Perfect for those nights you just don’t wanna cook anything, yet are feeling too cheap to fork out some real dough and go out. The place is always nice and clean, service is friendly and I don’t even think they charge me for my extra sauce request. The shopping area has plenty of parking, which is an added bonus.
