I couldn’t recommend this place less to anyone. I brought one two piece suit and four shirts to be dry cleaned. I was told that the shirts would take four days because I wanted them starched, but my suit would be ready the following morning. I needed the shirts done as well and asked if they could be done sooner if they didn’t get starched. The woman said fine and that they would be ready the following morning. When I arrived I was told that my bill was $ 47.50 because of the rush service. Not only was I never informed of any rush service fee, but that is a ridiculous amount regardless. To top things off, they had taken all of my hangers and replaced them with cheap metal/wire hangers(a bit odd for a dry cleaner to do with a suit since it destroys them when left like that for too long). I asked for my hangers and only received my one suit hanger back. When I looked at one of my shirts, a stain that I was hoping would be cleaned was still there. Point being, avoid this place like the plague; unless of course you like to pay a lot for a service that you don’t receive.

I have had a handful of dry cleaning orders which I have had no issues so far. The Korean lady is nice and helpful. I recently had 2 alterations, specifically alteration of suit/blazer sleeves, in which I was able to get one back… but I’ve been waiting almost TWOMONTHSFORHERTORETURNITTOME! She keeps saying that she’ll pick it up from the main branch and call me… she’s been telling me this for three weeks NOW! Lastly, it is a bit pricey.

Pretty expensive but kept coming back because it was convenient. Took in a hi/low style dress to have just the back hemmed up 3.5″ assuming they would fade it into the front. Stressed i just wanted the back brought up and she only pinned up the back. Picked it up and the charge was $ 98. Ridiculous. Tried the dress on and it was taken up a full 3.5″ all the way around! Dress is completely ruined. They refuse to pay for a new dress or even refund the alteration cost. Obviously will not be back.

$ 130 is a bit spendy for five suits and one blanket. Asked for a quote when I first brought the items in and was just stared at by the employee. The quality is fine and the turnaround time was fine, but I think I’ll keep checking for another cleaner. The cost was almost twice that of my old place.

I’ve always had courteous service here. My suits have always looked brand new when they’re finished and ready for another business trip. I haven’t had any alterations done here, but I believe she mended a pencil skirt for me that ripped up the seam in the back when I bent over to take my shoes off at the airport checkpoint(thanks TSA). What really stuck out for me was that I was able to pick up my suit early when I unexpectedly had to fly to Europe for a funeral literally the next day. I called up Northgate Cleaners and they told me I could pick up my items that afternoon(a few days early) so I’d have my black suit for the funeral. Prices are reasonable, definitely cheaper than the Greenlake area.

When I took several jackets and coats in last month I was told that it would be thirteen dollars for each. I thought that was a lot but I had two that I really needed so left those two with her and said«I apologize for the cat hair, is that going to be a problem?». She said«no problem». When I went back to pick my items up she said«Forty dollars, he,(I presume her spouse) says too much cat hair.» That is a 16.00 difference in what I was told. I was shocked. I would not have done business with these people if I knew they were liars and cheats. I am considering taking small claims court action against them because it would be worth the expense to have them legally bound to do business honestly. I can’t accept being lied to and having to pay because they are holding my items captive. If the job was going to be more they should have called me and given me the option of not doing the cleaning there. They also did a poor job hemming my friend’s jeans(17.00).

I agree with last review — lighten up on the negativity — I have been going here for several years and always had good results — and always on time — the woman there who greets you and works there works hard and long hours — and does a good job to boot.

The hemming I had done was ok(a little uneven but not terribly noticeable), and I was very pleased with the way in which they replaced a broken zipper on my jeans. Kind of pricey, but quick turnaround and the lady was very friendly and professional. I’ll probably try somewhere a bit less expensive next time, but being so close to the mall is very convenient.

Alright! I’m a young perfessional…=broke! I brought two suit jackets that needed the sleeves taken in just about ½ an inch, a suit dry cleaned, and a cashmere sweater dry cleaned. I went in with a huge smile and asked for a quote on the dry cleaning cost. The women instantly returned a warm smile and ignored my question. That was when I grew a tad bit weary. I shrugged it off and took my suit jackets out and went about explaining what I wanted. Right away she interrupted and told me that she could not do it because the button was in the way. I was stunned because I had the identical jacket but a different color altered in Chicago and it wasn’t a problem. Sure enough I took the jacket out and showed her that it was possible. SHOULD I EVENHAVEDONETHAT? DOESSHENOTWANTMYBUSINESS? Any who… I asked her if she wanted me to try on the jacket so that she can see how much she had to take in. At this point I considered opening my own dry cleaning considering how nice I was treating her. She kneeled down and did take precision in pinning my sleeve which I appreciated! After all the pinning and such was done. She drew up a receipt without a price and tried to send me on my merry way. I then repeated my dreaded question«how much will it cost?» She then told me that it will be 28.50 to take the sleeves in per jacket, 6.50 to dry clean my sweater, 13 for my whole suit. GOODLORD… Hey I respect a business person as much as the next but gssssssssss. This is highway robbery! So I just took back my clothes and ran for the exit. And believe you me I am never looking back.
