I don’t recommend this place. Being from Texas my expectations were much different than what was delivered. The sauce tastes generic and the meat was sub par. The ribs are definitely not Texas style and the brisket sandwich was sad too. I was hoping for so much more since they reference Texas BBQ all over their signage. Parking is horrendous and definitely not worth the headache. The sides left much to be desired like good, fries, and mac and cheese!

ribs, beans, slaw and corn bread. The sauce was a little thin, the meat should have been falling off the bone or at least a little more tender, the beans were a little syrupy, slaw was better than in many, many, other places, muffin was good. plenty of other places within a five-block radius.

I’m sorry but if you call yourself Texas BBQ rather than just BBQ you better be able to back it up. The place is run by a family Asian(Korean?) family but it’s not Korean BBQ… if it were it would be more authentic. Texas BBQ to me means slow smoked, typically outdoors. This is not what you’ll find at Mamma’s. The sauce is half decent, good consistency and spice, but the meat is seriously lacking and you can tell it hasn’t been properly smoked. Been twice and had both their brisket and ribs– both were letdowns. Shame because I live right next door.

Man, this is good barbecue! As Michelle F. said, angus beef ribs says it all. Delicious sauce, huge ribs. Only negative is the crowded parking lot, but that happens around restaurants that are this good.

Not BBQ. Out of a can sides. Very small portions, not even close to BBQ brisket. More like beef tips, dried out. I’d guess they oven cooked the brisket and slathered on some sauce and called it a day. Very disappointing, just not BBQ.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and finally decided to try this place out. Overall, the food is okay. I love brisket and I’m always looking for some that’s slow cooked and flavorful. The meat definitely had flavor but alas, it was dry. :-(The coleslaw was average — not bad but not memorable. The portions are on point. I felt like it was a decent value. The ribs had a good amount of meat on them and the sauce was good(but didn’t taste homemade). Parking is crowded at this strip mall during peak meal times but it is on a number of different bus lines. The dining area is a bit small but definitely clean. The staff members are super nice and helpful.

I had the baby back ribs and the beef brisket. This is one of the only bbq restaurants in the area that actually has meat that tastes like it was smoked. The brisket was tender and has enough flavor, you could eat it without now sauce. The ribs were tender and smokey. I’m so glad I tried this place! The medium sauce was really good too. Just the right amount of spice.

A vengeful God awaits all those who do not hurry to Manna Smoked BBQ to taste THESAUCE. They even sell the sauce in bottles to take to your home. Needless to say, their sauce will get you more ladies than a three wolf moon shirt. The portions are such that you’ll likely be A. Comfortably well fed AND B. Able to fit through the door. However, if you’re not one who is already B before coming here, than A probably won’t apply. If that is the case, just order a ton of food; their prices are low and it’s really the only way you won’t be cast down by the swift lightning and terrible flame that only a furious culinary God could unleash upon the unworthy. EAT.

We have had them cater numerous large functions recently and it’s always fantastic. the cornbread is warm when it arrives and the brisket is amazing. I have been ordering for my company for two years(two to three lunches a week) and this is by far THEBESTBBQ we have had.

The absolute best BBQ brisket in western wa. Prices are very reasonable. The brisket was lean, tender and flavorful. The sauce is good. They really do their meat the right way. We lived in TX for several years and this place is as close as it gets. The brisket is really in the Texas mode.

BEEFRIBS! I don’t need to say much more than that, except: tender, fall-off-the-bone, delicious, and MOREPLEASE. Hot sauce for the win.

I had a hankering for some BBQ and there aren’t a ton of options in Seattle so I decided to give this place a try. The location isn’t particularly remarkable, I get the sense it’s mostly a take out place. There are a couple of tables if you feel like eating there. All the tables were clean and the floor looked like it had just been mopped. The food itself is tasty but not particularly authentic(billed as Texas BBQ). Several friends and I got a mix of entrees which gave everyone a chance to sample things. The Brisket was really good as was the pulled pork(which you won’t see at a real Texas BBQ), their sauce isn’t particularly spicy so I’d recommend getting the hot sauce. The beef ribs were a little disappointing, kind of dry. As a few other reviews have noted the portions aren’t huge but I wouldn’t say they were«small» either. This place doesn’t have a liquor license so no beer unfortunately. Food is definitely above average. Not worth a road trip but if your in N Seattle and have a craving for bbq I’d recommend stopping by. Also worth noting that I felt fine after eating. I suspect the person who complained about getting sick is either making it up or got sick from something else.

If you’re in the Greenwood area and are looking for some good Texas Style BBQ check this place out. I live in the area and hit up this spot when I feel like a little country. The Baby Back Ribs melt off the bone. Pulled pork is soft with just enough spice to make it nice. Puled Pork Sandwich is also pretty awesome. Baked beans and Cornbread are great sides to top off wonderful entrees. Did I mention the BBQ sauce? Each dish is covered or slathered in the delicious stuff I like this place and will be a regular when I’m in need of southern flavor.

I ate here a couple days ago and did NOT get sick, and neither did the majority of reviewers. Just sayin’. My boyfriend got a pulled pork sandwich and I got a light bite plate of baby back ribs(3−4pieces), potato salad and cornbread. There wasn’t a lot of meat on 2⁄4 of the bones, but the flavor of the spicy BBQ sauce made up for that, because it’s not too sweet or spicy. It was a delicious meal, and our new barbecue hot spot.

The food was pretty good, despite the rather small portions. The big downside of this place is that it gave my boyfriend and I food poisoning. There are two other reviews on Google that also claim to have gotten food poisoning from this place. Find another bbq joint unless you enjoy spending 2 days on the toilet. DIARRHEAUPDATE: I know that it’s gross and no one wants to hear about a stranger’s bowel movements but I’ve now been sick because of this place for a week now, including fever, severe stomach cramps, consistent diarrhea, and even a little vomiting. My boyfriends sickness cleared up after a couple days but mine just seems to get worse. Do NOT eat here! Just trust me that you do NOT want to deal with what I am currently going through.

i just had a to-go dinner from Manna with my husband and overall, we were pleased. the sauce was very smokey and we both enjoyed that. my hubby reports that the spicy sauce brought the heat and was pleased. i got the mild sauce and i found it a tad too warm but i am very sensitive to heat. the baked potato was actually diced potatoes mixed with sauce and meat. not what he expected but still tasty. i got the brisket and pork ribs. i found the brisket to be dry and sliced too thick. the ribs were well cooked and tender but not a lot of meat on them. i’m from Alabama and have been spoiled by a BBQ place called the Brick Pit so i really feel like i can’t give a very fair review for other places! still, we were both pleased with the dinners but i am still searching for a bbq joint to adopt here. i’ll try the pulled pork next time. and there will be a next time. why? two words… pecan pie. if you need something sweet… if you need something gooey… if you need a pecan pie, get your ass in here. even if you don’t think you need a pecan pie, get your ass in here and get a slice of pie. you won’t realize that this is the piece if your life that’s been lacking. this is it. this is definitely the best pecan pie i’ve had outside of Priester’s Pecans(or my Nana’s, of course). what really, really makes this pie is the crust. it’s not dry and flaky. it’s caramelized and dense and just delicious. it’s going to take a lot of willpower to not be in here picking up a slice every couple of days. i can’t wait for more!

Amazing! Our new favorite place for cheap but delusions BBQ! Better than ROROS! We both had the pulled pork with a side of bakes BBQ beans and corn bread. All were amazing. The corn bread wasn’t warm… But that didn’t bother us. We also asked for a side of their hot BBQ sauce. It was Amazing! pretty spicy but we like it hot. It’s right off of our bus stop and super quick to get to, not to mention that the service itself was fast and friendly. This is my first Unilocal review, so I must have loved it ;)

Seattle doesn’t have many BBQ places, and even fewer takeout BBQ places. So this is one of my regular visits. This is not really an eat-in place. You’ll want to take out. I recommend the Pulled Pork platters. Be sure to ask for your sauce on the side, since they put way too much on. The sauce isn’t bad, it’s just way too smoky. For sides, I like the cornbread and the cole slaw. The beans and potato salad are acceptable.

SOBOMB get the pulled pork sandwich and if you have some extra cash burning a hole in your pocket splurge on the brisket AKA Meat Candy, you won’t be disappointed! The coleslaw is great too. I go here a lot and I always get the special i.e. pulled pork in a bun with a side of slaw for right away and a pound of brisket for later. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu because these two never fail. This place is a hidden gem!

We went here for dinner tonight and it was delicious!!! Highlights: — The loaded potato!!! With smoked potato, bbq sauce, pulled pork, cheese, sour cream, whatever else, so freaking delicious! — Cornbread — Rice(weird for a bbq place, but good) — Pulled Pork Sandwich Downsides: — Brisket was nothing overly stellar — Beans were just ok Overall great, we’ll definitely be back. Especially for the potato.
