Got takeout here tonight and was pleased! I thought the veggies in my green curry were a little too al dente and I wasn’t super blown by my partner’s Pad Kee Mao. I’d probably come back though.

Good go-to on the week-night for very quick carry out and affordable. Gracious hostess will triple check gluten status. The chicken phad thai noodles were pretty dry and sticky and the meat and vegetable content was underwhelming so I’ll try something else next time I don’t want to venture outside Magnolia to grab food. Tiny but comfortable looking dining room… the patrons in it looked comfortable, relaxed and satisfied and the dishes I saw on the table looked tantalizing.

I would recommend be Phad Thai and Phad see ew. The restaurant is one of the better ones in Magnolia(especially since it’s the only Thai restaurant in the area)

They have pretty good Thaifood. I suppose the best I’ve found in Magnolia, though it is the only Thai place in Magnolia. I liked the food I ordered last time. I always get PadSeeEww and I was happy with it as far as I can remember :) My Personal Restaurant Rating Key One star: the food was bad and I had a negative experience. Two star: I had a more negative experience and would not come here again but the food was good so I may. Three store: Everything is good except one thing. Example-the food is good, the price is more reasonable but the atmosphere is lacking class. Or the food is good, the atmosphere is good, but they over charged us. These three stars are actually my favorite types of restaurants to go eat at if the reason is due to the atmosphere because they are usually delicious and reasonably priced. Four stars: Everything is great, food and experience. However the price is definitely on the upper end. I would not recommend this first to Obama unless he didn’t like my five stars. These are restaurants you can take your boss or your mother-in-laws to impress them, however they still don’t fit into the five star category. A bit fancier than my three stars, hence I don’t often eat here unless there is an occasion for it or there is a groupon that gives me a bit of a discount! Five stars: I would recommend this to Obama. The price may be on the upper end but the experience and the taste is so exquisite, it is actually worth every nickel and dime.

We didnt even get to taste the food because before we could even order we had a problem. The waitress indicated my 3 year old son was too loud for the 2 other customers in this small restaurant. I needed to keep he quiet. I was upset because my son was playing on his ipad and excited about winning a game. He was not yelling, screaming, jumping or crying. The waitress preferred that we leave than to serve us food. She laughed as she waved goodbye to us. Guess 4 people of color in her small business was too many. Never to return!

Hard to review a place after only eating there once. That being said, I’m sure my wife and I will go back again and try other dishes. and if we are wowed next time, I may raise the star rating, but for now, this is what I’m going on. We were both hopeful, but sadly we were both a bit underwhelmed. We are curry freaks and that’s typically all we order, and we love it. So when we found out there was a Thai place near us, we were pretty stoked. I always get red curry, and my wife always goes for the green curry. Mine was pretty bland and lackluster. I actually had to ask for table salt to see if I could spike up the flavor a bit. It was as if they were mixing it with water or something to spread it out and make it more cost effective. As it turns out, their prices are very reasonable, but then, maybe this is the reason. Ya get what ya pay for. The egg rolls were fresh and very good, and the waitress was very nice and accommodating. The portions were a bit on the small side though, and the curry dishes don’t come with rice – which is really the only way to eat it. So you have to order a side of rice and it’s only about a quarter cup(and for a big guy like me, doesn’t do the trick). Make no mistake, we are not finished with this place. I feel there is potential there and, well, we don’t really have much of a choice considering our location. A lot of people on here are spot on when they say«it’s not the best, but certainly not the worst». For the price, really not too bad. That’s really all I can say!

Love this place! Work near it and fav spot to hit lunch. Best part is their Pad Thai is the good kind(brown savory) not the ketchup style that seems to be the norm here in Seattle. I will return again and again…

Not too bad. I used to live in Magnolia; it was a quick trip for decent Thai food.

Very cookie cutter Thia food. Not bad but not great. The Service is always very good and the restaurant is always very clean. I feel with a little more effort to make themselves different from all the other Thai restaurant, that this place could be amazing.

Kinnaree is the sole Thai restaurant in Magnolia proper, and while it’s not the best or worst Thai you’ll ever have, it’s pretty average in most aspects– offerings, prices, and service. I’ve stopped in sporadically over the years after visiting family who lives nearby, and have gotten takeout a couple of times now that I live in the area and didn’t want to drive to Ballard or Queen Anne. Kinnaree does do a mean takeout business, and I can call, wait five minutes, and drive over and my food has been ready for me. I’ve only ever gotten the token White Girl Favorites, pad Thai and pad kee Mao, and while both are okay, the kee Mao left a little more to be desired: there have always been plenty of veggies and protein of choice, but I would have liked a more heavy handed pour of the sweet soy sauce used while cooking. However, this is also me being overly picky, so take that with a handful of salt. Spice is usually underdone, even when I’ve requested really spicy, so if you want heat be ready to self administer it. TL; DR: decent take out, only Thai in Magnolia proper so there isn’t anything else to choose from.

Great beef salad. Pretty good curry and peanut sauces. Their noodle dishes tend to lack flavor in my opinion. Overall a fine place to eat if your in Magnolia but not restaurant I would go out of my way to visit.

This has to be my favorite local place for thai. Great service & amazing food at a decent price. Relaxed atmosphere thats not too noisy. The staff remember you if you come more than once. What’s not to love? My favorite dish is the pad see yew. They will sub coconut milk for milk in the thai iced tea for you lactose intolerant types. They even let me know what’s safe for glutin free dishes. Yummy!

I ordered the crying tiger. I feel like a crying human after eating that sham of a dish. Its literally skirt steak that is 6 inches long And overcooked on a bed of lettuce with a cup of limey fish sauce. The waitress walked over and asked if I would like rice. Well since this was a $ 10.95 dish I automatically assumed that rice came complementary. That was not the case when I checked out I ended up being build $ 13.95 for the overcooked and Send piece of nasty meat and a scoop of white rice. Try and avoid this place they are looking to nickel and dime you for everything you have and in return give you five dollars worth of food.

Fairly quiet in the restaurant on a Monday night, but busy with takeout(judging from the constant incoming phone orders). Service was so-so – in part because the maître d’/waitress was tied up with the phone – as was the food(perhaps I am spoiled from excellent Jamjuree in Capitol Hill?). My fiancé and I enjoyed the chicken satay and Pad See Ew – but we were really hungry. #44 on the menu(forget the name) wasn’t as successful – a conglomerate of mucoid soup, wide-based noodles and tepid meat. As far as Thai options in Magnolia, Kinnaree wins – it’s the only option.

First let me say, my husband and I love thai food. We get it often and have tried at least 20 different local thai restaurants and many others while traveling. This is the only one in Magnolia and I am convinced that the only reason it survives is because it is the only game in town. The food is so mediocre that we would almost always prefer to drive to Queen Anne or Ballard or beyond to get better thai food. One time the pad thai was good, but most everything else I have had from here is not memorable at all, and one time the fish dish we ordered was so bad we tossed it all. Step up your game Kinnaree, this is a thai food loving town and we don’t have far to go to get it much better. Just sayin!

What a hidden gem! I think the fact that it is tucked away off the Magnolia village strip makes it that much more cozy. The people here are always friendly and on point when it comes to timely service. Their fresh rolls, tofu soup and phad kee mao are to die for. Their seating is kind of tight, as the restaurant itself is not very big, but if you’re with a small party its pretty ideal. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet lunch getaway.

Kinnaree is a small Thai restaurant in a cute strip on Magnolia that, I think, can fit approximately 50 people. The food was pretty decent, but nothing to write home about. It fulfills the craving if you’re in the neighborhood and the service was pretty nice. It wasn’t a very memorable meal for me, but I don’t think I’d mind going there again, if we’re hanging out in the area and we’re craving Thai. Maybe the next meal will be better.

I have been to this restaurant a couple times now, and gotten take out a few times as well. It’s pretty good. The food is about what you’d expect, and the service is pretty good. This is the only option(that I know of) in Magnolia for Thai food, so I sometimes end up selecting it out of necessity. The dining room seats about 25 – 30 people, but any time i’ve eaten in there’ve never been more than 10 of us. To-Go orders were ready in a timely fashion.

I have Thai food about once a week so I feel I have a decent baseline to judge what qualifies as good vs. not so good Thai, at least as it compares to all the other choices in the city, and this is definitely, without a doubt, hands down, the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. If you live on the Island(Magnolia) as I do, this place is your only near by option for Thai, so you might feel compelled to dine here out of convenience, but after the meal I just had I can assure you driving a few extra miles to one of the other dozen or so Thai options available is time/miles well worth spending, that is unless you love a stomach-turning spicy-hot rendition of Hamburger Helper — if this is you’re idea of good Thai food, then you’ll love this place. Uggg.

Given that it’s in Magnolia, the price is going to be high. The pad thai was $ 7.75 and in very small portions. My friend ordered the spicy beef noodle and spring roll. The portions were decent. Though I’m not sure what the prices were. All three dishes were decent. Really nothing special about it. Given the price and portions, I probably won’t be coming back.
