Best Blackberry shake I’ve EVER had. It’s almost heaven, but that’s a stretch. Good food, good customer service. The perps are great and they use fresh ingredients to boot. Kidd Valley is a must when visiting or staying a while.

The garlic fries are so tasty. I also love their fried mushrooms. The veggie burger is pretty decent for a fast food place. The staff is always very friendly.

A favorite of mine since I was a kid but their product quality seems to fluctuate. It may depend on who is doing the cooking. The ingredients are good quality and I used to think that 5 bucks for a burger was a little high but now days, even a Big Mac coats that or more so why not spend your money on food that’s worth it. Service at this location was fast and friendly and they bring your food out to your table so that’s a bonus. Their sweet potato fries are amazing and a welcome change from regular fries. Classically decorated and a warm atmosphere. Good good and good people. What more could you want?

Kidd Valley is classic burger place. I like the plain old hmburger with grilled onions. I think they stand out more for their sides. The onion rings are outstanding and then the garlic fries are an institution(something I get every Mariner’s game), The shakes are very good also, nice and thick. Worth visiting.

Went in hung over and craving a juicy, greasy burger. Opted for their new Kickin’ BBQ Burger, with pepper jack cheese, crispy onion straws, and spicy bbq sauce. I’m sure it would have been great, but I couldn’t taste anything but char. It didn’t taste burnt, exactly, but the burger char was so overwhelming that it was all I tasted. It was a good-sized burger, if a bit overpriced(a lot overpriced if you take into account the taste), and the ingredients all looked great. Just couldn’t taste any of them, unfortunately. The place is small and dumpy, and wasn’t exactly clean, but the service was friendly and just the right speed. I’ll likely give them another shot to see if this was a fluke, but I can’t give more than two stars for a burger place that ruins a burger so horribly.

Friendly staff! Great made to order burgers and shakes. I love the blue cheese & bacon burger combo with sweet potato fries.

So, I can’t believe that I have not previously reviewed Kidd Valley! I’ve been going here to the various locations beginning in the mid-eighties. The service is always predictably solid and the food is good quality, in that sense, it is a very Ivars-like. There’s a little flair on the menu, as deep fried mushrooms are good. Some of the flavors of shakes they offer are really good also. It’s always clean and convenient, there’s water and cups accessible which you don’t find everywhere, and the bathrooms are easy access.

The food is delicious. The place was clean and was offered at an ok price. A good place to get a bit to eat. I would go back and get some food there, being a fan of the kid valley resturaunts.

Not bad. The burgers here are pretty good, not stellar but good enough. What I come here for are the mushrooms! A lot of places that have mushrooms on their menus serve really bready nuggets with a desiccated mushroom nibblet hiding inside out of shame or spite. Kidd Valley’s mushrooms are plump and juicy with just the right amount of breading. When I’m feeling self destructive, I will come here for a calorie/carb gut bomb that gets my spirits up.

A definite step above fast food, I’d put it on par w/Burgerville but minus B-ville’s high prices. Somewhat small burger patties but well-cooked and topped w/plentiful fresh veggies. The garlic fries are super garlicky. Don’t forget a milkshake; the mocha rocked my world!

Meh. Burger is better than the McDonalds or BK. Fries aren’t anything close to good, at least they have ketchup Staff was friendly Prices are stupid-expensive. $ 4 to add a drink and fry to your $ 5 burger. Place was NOT clean, tables hadn’t been wiped down in hours. Go to a fast food joint, the fries will be palatable at least

The burger had something sharp in it that cut me. Needless to say I spit it out and didn’t finish. Also, peanut butter shake was straight vanilla ice cream. I’ll take this as a sign that I should’ve been eating healthier anyway, but still super disappointed. The fries were good, once I added salt.

First visit to Seattle. In a pinch… this spot came thru. Sure the food is greasy, but thats why people eat here right? Order by phone and youll save yourself some time. Would def come back again if I was local.

No, just no. I knew when I set foot in this place that it was going to be medicore. It is walking distance from my homestead, and I had already been quite debaucherous all weekend and decided, «what harm could one more sketchy fast food burger do?» Well, I should have had 3 more drinks before coming here and I may be able to add a star. It was just completely«meh», not like… growths on anything or rotten but just uninspired and bland. If you are this close to Dick’s just do yourself a favor and go there, this may be like 1 notch more fresh but that doesn’t help tha flavor at all.

Now that I eat beef, I feel it’s only fair to update my review. So with that said, the beef is good. ¼ of fresh beef on a sesame bun with fresh lettuce, tomatos, pickles, cheese(if desired), and some kind of secret sauce(mayonnaise and relish?). Fantastic! The beef is never frozen or pre-made. You have to wait a few minutes for your order which is a good thing in my mind. Deep fried mushrooms are basic but kind of novel, so I approve. Shakes are the best in town!

Kidd Valley is a Seattle burger institution. Their burgers are pretty good, but they’re stuck in the past – just your basic burgers, nothing exciting. Tip to the owners: get crazy with the toppings. Sriracha ketchup? Yes please. Bacon jam? Ya sure, ya betcha. Have some more specials too! Mix it up and keep it fresh and interesting. They’ve got other options besides burgers(no salads though). They have sweet potato fries, if you like that. They have onion rings too, which I prefer – but I think they lack a certain something. I think it’s the breading in their batter. I prefer a crispy, flaky beer-battered onion ring, personally. Anyhow, Kidd Valley is definitely a step up from your typical burger franchise. But it’s not a place I’d go out of my way to visit.

Just stopped in for lunch and got the bacon burger with fries for a little over $ 8. Burger was great; good sauce and the meat and other ingredients tasted fresh. Fries were just OK. They seemed under seasoned, so you’ll need to add some salt. You can also get discounted ivars gift cards(20% off) at costco which can be used at Kidd Valley.

After decades of patronage, still a great option with tasty food made from quality ingredients. The fish with swiss on a whole wheat bun is a favorite and highly recommended.

Kidd Valley doesn’t impress me, but I will freely admit that I am not a huge fan of hamburgers. They all kind of taste the same, and I’d pick one grilled at home before going out for one of these any day. The garlic fries are no lie– huge pile of diced garlic on top, well-seasoned. I can’t decide if I love them or hate them, strangely… They were weird with ketchup and hard to eat(opt for a fork). Their sweet potato fries aren’t as good as others I’ve had, either. Too mushy. Parking lot is really awkward, usually decent turn-around time. Plenty of seating, even has a few outdoor tables.

Ah, Kid Valley. I miss your girl on the hamburger out front. And as much as she was a slightly poor representation of that style of art, she fit the place much better than the weird ‘K man’ holding out a burger in front of him in such a way that I’m sure he’ll trip. But that being said, you treat me right, KV. I like that the sweet potato fries are now a permanent part of your menu, your regular fries are also delicious. I like that you have smaller portion sizes so I don’t have to(but can) order a kid’s meal. I like your burgers, they’re good and flavorful without being too expensive, they’re just above fast food, just below gourmet. I looooove that you have a grilled cheese sandwich option on the kids menu as sometimes, that is all the little one wants to eat. I love your chocolate malts, they are usually prepared just chocolatey and malty enough for my extreme need for c/m combo. I also love your secret shake. Sure, it’s not really a secret if you have it on the wall but I still feel like I have some extra street cred knowing the special flavor. So it’s not love, KV, but it’s strong like.
