J Tique Salon

A haircut is never something used to look forward to, but the J’tique experience is awesome. I have my haircut by Lisa every time. The stresses of the day are washed away by the head massage and her style keeps me from having to figure out what I want.
Highly recommended to anyone thinking about getting a haircut!

Jessica has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 4 years now, and I LOVE her easy-​going manner. She completely «gets» that I am not into high maintenance hair, so she helps me keep looking great with no fuss. Her studio is lovely, welcoming and low-​key. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I have been coloring my hair for over 15 years and have had been to high-​end salons all my adult years. Lisa Morrow officially gives the best color/​highlights I’ve ever had. This girl has an eye for style and beauty and she has a very natural touch when it comes to coloring. Every time I leave the salon she has achieved the look I was going for and gotten me there smoothly without damage or harsh tones that need to settle in. My hair has never looked better and I get compliments on it endlessly. Really. With Lisa on my team I have my dream hair! She listens to me when I say I want a very conservative trim and this is important to me as not everyone is capable of that. I truly mean it — she is worth traveling for.

This girl has got it going on! Love my hair (cut and color) every time I walk out that orange door. Mod and stylish décor. She’s a true creative all the way around.

I have been going to see Jessica for twelve years now, that’s seven moves and if she went to the moon I would follow her. She does a fantastic job on my very fine, very straight hair. I highly recommend her.
BTW, Renee is no longer at J Tique but Jessica will be getting another stylist in, in May.

I have been going to Renee Lavigne since 2008 and when she moved to J Tique I couldn’t have been happier for a couple of reasons: 1) She is now just up the street from me and 2) I LOVE the ambiance and feel of this salon. It is warm and inviting with no pretentious vibe at all.
The service Renee provides is both professional and personal. Without fail, every haircut I have received has been fabulous and I leave feeling great. I have trusted her to do what she thinks would work best for my hair and face and every time I am pleased. I have even had her cut my «past shoulder» length hair to my chin – that’s a lot of confidence in someone! And again, I was thrilled with the outcome.
I highly recommend Renee. She is amazing at what she does and she also happens to be a very warm and comfortable person to be around.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Jessica for at least five years and have happily followed her to and from every salon she’s worked in. Well worth the traveling! I have crazy thick hair and she cuts and dyes it perfectly every time. I lived in New York City for the last year and never even considered looking for another stylist. I just waited until I got back to Seattle. My last cut was in April and I still get comments on the shape of my cut! Ladies in NYC asked me if I blow-​dried it myself! She’s a miracle worker and I can’t wait to go back!

I believe in picking the right professional and then giving them room to show their expertise. This is what I did with Jessica about 5 years ago. I’m so glad that day I didn’t tell her what to do. I simply told her a bit about myself and asked her to be an expert. I have been a happy loyal customer since. I am so happy to see her own shop doing well.
