This is a simple hair cut place, not for complex perms, colors or foils. Very inexpensive and great for straight hair, no gossip or attitude.

Usually I get my hair cut at great clips. Just moved to Ballard. Costs $ 15 for a men’s cut. I like how she pays close attention to detail, doesn’t rush you, super chill and makes good conversation. Highly recommend! :)

I’ve gone there maybe ten times over the past several years, and she always does a very good job on my hair. I agree with the other reviewer that it’s a good idea to call ahead, though when I have just walked-in, I have not had to wait very long. One thing to note: she has moved her shop about half a block south; it’s still on the same side of 15th,

After another neighborhood hair salon I had used for years closed I tried Super Cuts in Ballard twice and was appalled. Then I tried Ann’s. She is painstaking in her approach and does an excellent job(and cutting my 61 year old hair is no easy task). In fact, the cut has got better each time I’ve gone. Extremely reasonably priced for the quality of the cut. Appointments not necessary but it’s not a bad idea to call ahead and settle on a time to come in if your schedule permits; might save hanging about.

My wife had her hair cut here and she recommended that I try it. The price was great for the city($ 15 for a men’s cut), and the stylist did a decent job on my hair and she was pleasant. I would recommend this place to others.
