Had the porchetta sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie from this cart when they were at Hilliard’s Beer in Ballard last night. Both were delicious! $ 9 for the sandwich and $ 2 for a cookie. Wanted to buy more cookies but they were sold out of everything when we went to get more. Can’t wait to eat here again!

While visiting my family for a weekend in Seattle, we stumbled upon the Gusta cart before heading into a Mariners game. What a fun surprise! Definitely not your typical hot dog or polish sausage stand before the game. Trust me and try this out — the owner, a young female chef — has a passion for all things Italian and her tasty sandwiches will not disappoint. We all grabbed the meatball sandwiches which had the perfect balance of savory and sweet and deliciously melted in our mouths. Then we split a rice crispy treat — layered with smashed peanut butter M&Ms. YUM!!!

Holy meatball goodness! I was in town visiting friends and we decided to track down some food trucks for a quick and delicious lunch which is when we happened upon the Gusta cart. I got the meatball sandwich which was full of luscious chunks of braised pork and doused in delicious sauce. My friend got the porchetta and we basically kept passing them back and forth because they were too delicious not to share. I wish I was in town longer so I could come back for seconds and thirds and so on. Enjoy it Seattle!
