I know, I know, it’s just a GameStop and I should just slink in and slink out as quickly as possible. I have no one buy myself to blame for not just pre-ordering online. But jeeeeze, the high pressure management staff makes it very hard to face going to this particular GameStop. The regular staff is friendly and unobtrusive, but seeing that there is a manager in makes me want to turn the other way. I’m sure they’re just doing what they’re told but man alive it’s irritating. Saying I don’t want to join their club once a visit should be sufficient, as should saying I don’t need any help. Get out of my hair!

I’ve been here a few times and purchased quite a few games. Tonight was the night I got ‘sweet-talked’ into joining their GameStop Club. Not bad if you’re going to purchase few games, get their monthly magazine and save a lot of money for a year. What the heck, I’m going to buy MORE games this year! Every time I come in, everyone of the staff here are very friendly, cheerful and have great customer service! What I observed tonight especially: they had greeted every customer that had came in, asked if they had questions and very knowledgeable about the games. What I really like about this GameStop is one of the staff is quite older — mid 40’s — yet still a kid-gamer at heart. He told us he’s been a gamer since PONG and LOVES the old school games — Pac Man, Centipede, Mario Bros., etc. He never grew up and had also been a regular customer to GameStop. He decided to apply for employment, got hired and he’s enjoying life! Reality of an X-Generation’s life dream! I’m going to play my Kung Fu Panda now. A MUSTGO! =)
