After a break of over 20 years, I decided to take up the flute again. I purchased a used flute off the internet and knew the moment I received it that it would need some work.
I dropped the instrument off with Courtney, knowing that it was in good hands, but I was still gobsmacked by the quality of her work. She took a used flute and made it shine and sing.
I am so grateful to Courtney for having such a caring hand in bringing a little more music to the world.
And yes, I play my scales every day now

Fluteworks Seattle is the best source in the Northwest for flute repair and instruments. Courtney is an experienced technician, and has a gift for pairing people and instruments. All of the work she has done on my Powell flute has been great– Adjustments, pad repair and replacement, always completed on schedule at a fair price.
I purchased a Burkart piccolo from her in Spring 2013. When I became concerned that a move from the humid Seattle area to the drier Midwest had cracked the headjoint, she immediately sent me a replacement head and contacted Burkart on my behalf.
Highest recommendation for all of your professional flute services!
