The view is awesome! It’s like being at the other open area diagonally across from home base except there’s a bar there with good food. Don’t ever order a Manhattan here if you’re into them. It was made sitting in ice and was so watered down by the time I was finishing it the drink was really bad. And that folks is how I learned never to order a classy drink at a baseball game.

I love a good hotdog and a bacon wrapped hotdog is a dream! But this was a nightmare. First, the two guys running the place tonight were uninterested in serving anyone. The dog machine apparently doesn’t rotate according to the one guy who picked up my dog with his bare hand and placed it in the bun. I asked if it was hot… I got a blank stare and he never said. By the way, it certainly was not to temp. $ 28.50 for 3 dogs. Never, and I mean NEVER going back.

The first time here, I had the carne asada tacos, they were juicy & wonderful. Second time here(different game) I had the same thing, a whole different experience. They were dried out, not juicy & tender at all. I’ll try one more time for the swing vote. The sangria is really good though. Like any ballpark food, it’s overpriced.

A local food, authentic Mexican joint in an MLB field? Well played, Mariners! I had three al pastor tacos, and they were pretty tasty, the meat probably could have been flavored a touch better, but for a sporting even, I’ll take it. Small double-corn tortillas with traditional lime and radishes. The salsa was just okay, which is why they can’t be 5-stars, but for a ball field, what a treat to not have to have a hot dog!

I hate to pan a place named after a local legend, but the carnitas tacos were dry and sadly pedestrian. Yes, it’s ballpark fare but like the Mariners, this place needs to pick up its game.

Edddddddddddd-garrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.(I just realized how much I miss doing that call.) I had to check out this place since #11 was and will always be my favorite Mariner. I had the carne asada tacos which were A-OK(and better than most of the crap at Safeco) but when Ethan Stowell is the«menu creator/consultant» and his name is listed on the restaurant’s sign, I expect a little more. The tacos came with a generous portion of steak, a negligent amount of crumbled cheese, and a side of radish and lime. That’s it– no lettuce or other veggies. I spooned a bunch of salsas into mine, to make them a little fuller, and they were tasty in the end. I just had higher expectations. Edgar deserves the best!

Could a restaurant possibly have a better location than at the left field foul pole of Safeco field?! Not onl is this THE place to be during games, but they have great tex mex food options to go with some exclusive cocktail creations. You never know, you might even see Mr Edgar Martinez himself serving up your food or mixing your drink!
