While this place didn’t suit my needs, I did see a wonderful selection of modern furniture. Maybe a little too ‘hipster’ for my taste, but the prices were right.

Really enjoyed stopping in and finding a lamp and bathroom stand for a great price. The gentleman running the store was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back.

This was a great find. We went to the one on Rainier. The owner was really nice and customer service oriented – he got right to the point and didnt assume that we werent going to buy anything. He didnt blow us off when we asked questions and he negotiated a time to bring our delivery just in case we were still out running other errands. He showed us the different mattresses we had, let us test it out in the store and delivered it to us that evening himself. It was great. There are many other things that we will need for our new apt, which we will be going back. They have kitchen table sets, coffee tables, couches, desks, dressers, and much more stuff. I havent experienced customer service like this in awhile. Thanks Dixon!

I don’t like Dixon’s. I went there looking for a kitchen table, and while they had about four different tables, they didn’t have what I was looking for. I decided to browse for a few other items that I could use in my new place, and I was appalled. For instance, one of the only couches they had was an old IKEA striped couch completely scratched up by cats and they were selling it for $ 200ish. Go on Craigslist and find that same couch for free. Seriously. It basically feels like the free section of Craigslist at Dixon’s, except it’s all overpriced in a smelly room.

I was a little iffy about this place but the staff really won me over. The owner, Scott is super friendly and helpful and willing to negotiate pricing. Everyone was really pleasant to work with, come to think of it. WEIRD, RIGHT? Lots of mattresses, sofas, and some tables. Some items are terribly great finds and others are so-so. I’m pretty sure everything is used but in goodish shape. All pretty reasonably priced and if not, you can certainly ask for a lower price since it seems like they are ready to get rid of their stuff. Also, check in often. I drive by this place and I always see new dressers, vanity tables, etc. outside the store. I bought a sofa for $ 249 and delivery was only $ 40. Go! It’s worth a looksie.

This is a funny place but they always have plenty of offerings on the sidewalk to make you slow down and take a second look. I do not have any idea where all the stuff comes from. I made a fair trade/barter in there with the guy who runs it(table for a table). Pretty nice. Not dirt cheap but you may be able to negotiate a little — worth a try.
