The loaded deep fried doritos beckoned. Don’t be fooled. I couldn’t even swallow my first bite. They taste like those scuzzy fry trucks that cruise construction sites smell.

7 – 11 will always have a place in my heart. If you every need a brain freeze… go get a yummy slurpee. If it’s a hot day, go get a Big Gulp and quench your thirst. If you got the munchies because you know why… snacks galore and much more… Did you know you can get a fruit bowl now? On this day I got the munchies and wanted nachos like a pregnant woman has a craving so I drove to this 7 – 11 to get some. I didn’t expect customer service but the guy staff was super helpful exchanging the cheese bag in the machine so I can fill out the plastic. It is nice that the chips is in a plastic bag so I could take it out and use the plastic bowl to add more cheese, chili, and jalapenos to the rim. This cost less than 6 bones… holler! More munchies for the future… they created 7-Select for their own line of kettle chips and snack attacks to keep prices down for us. When I got home, I devour the nachos like it was my prey… so dam good! This is a paradise for people with the munchies!!!

I don’t know why 711 is getting two stars… what warrants that? I suppose they get one star because some people find use for them(i.e. it’s thanksgiving and you need some milk-where do you go? 711!) The other star they get because they’re such a cultural icon. There’s nostalgia connected with 711 for everyone-for me, it’s being 7, riding my bike there and getting a slurpee and some baseball cards. C’mon, though– are they really relevant? I can now buy a slurpee machine, I have no use for their big bites, and god knows I don’t need a double gulp to wash it down with! Here’s the real reason for my review: I just read this on Wiki: «The company’s first convenience outlets were known as Tote’m stores since customers „toted“ away their purchases, and some even sported genuine Alaskan totem poles in front. In 1946, Tote’m became 7-Eleven to reflect the stores’ new, extended hours — 7 a.m. until 11 p.m., seven days a week.»
