We enjoyed this neighborhood coffee shop. Small and does the trick. Smoothies and juices offered as well and a small selection of pastries. Made us some good de-café lattes and got us out the door in time to catch the bus downtown. Some seats outside. Closed on Sundays(we had to hit a coffee shop next to the Fisherman’s Terminal). I believe they close at 3PM daily.

This is a tiny coffee shop and the closest food to Discovery Park. The photo of the sign on the Unilocal page says they’re open until 4, but this seems to have changed since that photo was taken; at least on Saturday, they closed at 3. Food options here are fairly limited, especially in the savory department. We stopped for lunch near closing time(around 2:30) and there were a few pastries left(they have Mighty-O), and they serve breakfast sandwiches all day. I had a ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich(on an English muffin) and it was good. They also have turkey. I also had a mocha, which was good — it wasn’t overly heavy on the chocolate, and the coffee was tasty. Since this place is so tiny it’s not the best place to sit and hang out, but it’s a good place to grab a snack before going to the park.

Great cappuccino I am very picky, suppose it depends on who is working, but it was spot on. Most places, even Seattle, have no clue how to make one.

I stopped into this little coffee shop after visiting Discovery Park with my daughter. Saw the sign and needed some early afternoon caffeine. Let me say, when I need a caffeine kick the ambiance really doesn’t matter, especially in Ballard where they prefer Socialism over being American. I would say however this joint was clean and appears to be owned by a small business owner who was hospitable and friendly. Now, on to the review. The Americano(my go to) was the best I’ve had, ever. They have some sort of fantastic organic coffee, just amazeballs! Really good coffee, good service and a nice place. Highly recommended.

I really like this place. Friendly guy behind the counter, good coffee, good pastries, good breakfast sandwiches. It’s small, quite small, but that’s part of its charm. It’s nice to have a place like this in the north end of Magnolia — I wish there were a bit more of a commercial district up here. I do wish it were open Sundays and Mondays, and I do wish it were open later than 3 p.m. You’d they could do some good business with people going to or from Discovery Park. But I’d rather have it with these hours than not at all!

Small coffee place that is a convenient stop for me when I’m on a walk to Discovery Park. There are no other coffee to be found within walking distance but even if that were not the case, I would recommend stopping in. It’s cheaper than Starbucks and tastes better. They don’t have a ton of specialty coffee drinks so if that’s your bag, it may not be the place for you. I like their baked goods with my Americano. My husband has had a few of their smoothies and said they were good. I’ve been there more than a few times and I would recommend it. I’m taking away one star because more than once, I’ve wanted to stop by during regular business hours and they have been closed.

Cute little coffee spot. I just moved to the neighborhood and this is a 5 minute walk from my house. The coffee was yummy and the service was friendly! What more do you need? If they had wifi, I would be there all the time. But it’s probably better they don’t, since they don’t have a ton of space for people like me, who like to camp at coffeeshops. ;)

Great place to grab a cup and a snack. Straight and to the point. I really appreciate smaller cafés like this compared to oversized/overpriced cafés that sell CDs and paninis. When you finish walk over to Discovery Park and use up that caffeine.

My latte was solid. There don’t seem to be many coffee shop options in this part of Magnolia so it gets a lot of business. This is a good spot to make before or after visiting Discovery Park! They have juice, too. The parking lot is very strange and unlevel. There was only one way to drive into/out of the lot without going over the curb.

Nestled in the heart of cozy Magnolia and perfect for the locals and the passerby. I love the owners, never have to tell them my drink, it gets started the moment I walk in the door! Great cup of coffee, great service! My husband and I love this hidden gem!

Great owner-operated neighborhood coffee shop in «outer Magnolia.» Good coffee, also lots of fresh smoothy/juice options. Not much in the way of food. Frequent drinker card for regulars. Recommended

I like this place for it’s crunchified organic hippy juices that they make as you wait. This is a favorite Saturday afternoon spot for me and Kei. I like the creamsicle smoothie and a shot of espresso. It get’s me kung fu fighting again!
