The ABSOLUTE WORST!
Where to begin, first off, they do not communicate at all. You think they are showing up one day, they don’t show… and then three days later, maybe there’s construction equipment digging up your yard.
They excavated and dug up a tank in our front yard, first digging test holes to find out the location. That must have gone swimmingly, because when they dug the big hole, they hit our water pipe and knocked out our water for a day. Again, no one said anything… like they owned the place and they just do what they do.
They moved our above ground tank over and left a 25 foot hole in our front yard, for I kid you not, about 3 months over the summer. They then filled it in with sand and did not pack it down so, now, we have giant sink holes opening up. They moved the above ground tank back… setting it on the unstable ground and bending one of the legs and setting it down on paving stones (NOT concrete slabs like you are supposed to do). They hooked the tank up improperly, so we had to have professionals come out and fix it. They did not cover the cost of that, even though they were and are TOTALLY 100% at fault for shoddy work.
In the first heavy rain, the paving stones cracked under the weight of the tank, the ground got soft and the bent leg gave way and the tank fell over… spilling who knows how much oil. All the while, no communication, no nothing. It’s now coming up on December and even though they were responsible for putting everything back the way they found it, they didn’t. Now, we have some plastic barrel in our yard (not a tank) and they said that this will be our new tank… only the oil people say they can’t fill it because it’s too small and there’s no ventilation, so it creates a vacuum and will seize up once the air is pumped out.
I know that there are not many people who do this kind of work, but I suggest to you, at all costs, DO NOT USE Diane’s Tank Removal Service. They are inept, clumsy, irresponsible, uncommunicative and can be down right nasty.
Our next door neighbor came out to take photos of the disaster area one day and the person yelled at her and told her that ‘she’d better not post those pictures on the internet’. Well, instead, I’m posting this. I hope that someone reads this before they are making calls and chooses to avoid Diane and her motley crew of misfits. It’s been one of the worst and most disastrous customer service experiences I’ve ever seen. I give them an F across the board.

I have no idea if the work is good but I can tell you that the follow through was horrible! Failed to show up for a scheduled estimate visit, then rescheduled for the following week (after I called to find out what happened the first time after I left work early to meet them) and again a no show. Showed up for estimate after 6pm on a Friday night and told me that I’d have an estimate early the following week… well that was 2 weeks ago and I still haven’t gotten an estimate. Definitely an unhappy experience. My recommendation is look elsewhere.
