I had a dual Birthday party here with my friend last year. They pulled out all the stops for us. For the price we paid($ 500) we got unlimited guestlist, DJ announced our party 3 times, 35 alcoholic drinks, 2 bottles of champagne, 2VIP sections made into one, decorations, personal waitress, and I’m forgetting a couple things. We had 100 people on the guestlist and surprisingly around 70 showed up. We really enjoyed ourselves and couldn’t have had a better time. We had a few people in our party get a little to rambunctious but they understood and didn’t fret on us. We actually ended up turning down two appetizers that came with our package and exchanged them for more drinks. The club was packed that night with many fine ladies. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs.

Horrible bartenders, okay music. I do like their back room though. Bartenders: I’ve been to Copper Cart numerous times and have to say they have the worst bartenders I’ve ever seen. The first bartender never gave me change for my drink and acted annoyed when I told him that he owed me some back, after waiting for about 15 minutes to grab his attention. The second bartender, was even more rude. She didn’t honor the happy hour pricing even though we had a full half hour before it was supposed to end. Talk about bait and switch. Music: The music is pretty standard for the clubs in this area… mainly top 40 stuff. Layout: The back room is pretty nice. This speaks not for the decorations, but for the space it has. The front area is far too crowded and trying to get a drink or hit the bathroom is challenging. Not my favorite place in town as there are numerous other venues in town I’d recommend.

The people who are curious will go to the CC, have whatever experience they have and will decide for themselves whether or not to continue. Great for them, freedom of choice and all. I’ve been there twice, and I will not be going back. On 11−11−11, my loved ones and I were enjoying ourselves, we like to arrive early. We were up in the VIP area, and Mandy our server was pleasant and professional. At about 9:15PM a couple hundred people flooded the place creating one mother of a bottleneck at the bar. It’s a popular venue, but it needs to be rearranged for better crowd flow. Dance floor and DJ booth in between the front and back VIP room areas makes more sense. An increase in staff on nights when there will be a crowd rush like that would be in the best interest of the venue. Anything to prevent a swarm at the bar to get served. If you’re going to check it out, go during the off times until they get their staffing logistics under control. I did not feel safe navigating through the bottleneck. If I want that kind of experience — next time I’ll go to a mosh pit.

I’ve been here quite a couple weekends now. I actually had my BD party here. The manager hooked it up with a booth in the back room. [= The front room is where they play Top 40& in the back is hip-hop. There is no cover! The bouncers & bartenders are very friendly. The bartender hooks it up with drinks. The dance floor doesn’t get too crowded which I like. There is 2 sets of bathrooms too. One in the front & one in the back. There are 2 bars too, one in the front & one in the back. The DJ’s will give BD shoutouts if you ask him, just sayin’. Overall, love it! They are more accomodating with booths than most clubs.

Yeah… It’s true. The VIP section is odd. There’s a ridiculous amount of security. The drinks are overpriced(unless you know the bartender). The traffic flow is horrible. There are too many douchy guys. And there’s always a line outside for no reason.

Must I select a a star? FIRSTANDVERYLASTTIMECOMINGHERE! Just moved to Belltown-Downtown Seattle, from out of state, and had been bar hopping from one awesome bar to another. My boyfriend and I were having dinner and drinks at our regular bar just up the street and met a super nice couple who were visiting from Arizona. We started chatting and decided we all wanted to go play pool, so… we start walking and found Copper Cart. All was great and dandy until the happy hour ended and the place turned into what I think the staff there thinks is some kind of «ELITEVIPCLUB.» *rolling eyes* After we had been there playing pool, consuming drinks and having a good time(for at least 2 – 3 hours), suddenly the staff started being super rude to us and claimed we had to leave because our new friend from AZ was wearing a hat a.k.a. «gangster attire.» What the heck?!? All of a sudden they noticed the Cabo, Mexico hat a.k.a «gangster attire» on a 45+ year old man?! None of us look, walk or talk like gangsters so after they did this, we were all shocked! My boyfriend was trying to get an explanation as to why we were really being asked to leave and then they called the even more incredibly rude and crude door guys on us, who started to escort us out! I told them not to touch me and went to the bar to close my tab and ask for the manager. Needless to say Josh, the«manager,» was unable to assist me at the time. So yeah… NO cheap $ 5 Happy Hour pitcher of beer and NO lack of a cover charge will EVER get me to go back to give them my business. After sharing our story with some local bar owners/staff we know, we learned Copper Cart has a reputation for being rude, unclassy and unruly, among other things. Stay away folks!

$ 5 pitcher during Happy Hour. I stopped by around 9pm and it was pretty empty. I have no comments on the social vibe there since it was pretty empty, but $ 5 pitchers are pretty damn good. Bartender was chill and would jump in and spike up conversation if she noticed conversations die off. The music was really loud as we walked by. It’s something you could get into if you were there for clubbing/dancing. There are also pool tables too. Chill place. Probably more like 3.5 stars for such cheap beer, but since Unilocal defines 3 stars as A-OK, then 3 stars it is!

My friends and i were browsing through some of the lounges and bars around Belltown. Being the cheap asses we are, we were looking around for a place without a cover charge. One of the bouncers called out to us and told us it was free before 11, so we though, hell why not? There’s two rooms playing music. When we arrive, they had just opened the back room. Looked decently packed around the bar and dance floors. There’s a coat check as well. We went to the back room, ordered a round of lemondrops(while the guys had shots) and carried on through the night. Lemondrops were very tasty! People there were nicer and less disrespectful than our terrible experience at Trinity. For a lounge/club, it wasn’t too bad though definitely not the best I’ve been to. Reading some of the reviews, it seems like guys here are disrespectful and aggressive. It definitely was much better than our night at Trinity.

I don’t feel safe at Copper Cart. I mean, it’s one thing to walk into a sausagefest, but it’s a completely different story when you’re the one afraid of being eaten alive. The guys here are aggressive and disrespectful, like I walked into a friggin’ gangsta rap video. I ain’t no video-hoe! It’s been like this every time I’ve gone. I always tell myself that I wouldn’t go there again, and when I do I regret it every time… EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I don’t even feel safe walking across the front door. It feels like walking into a dark alley asking to be… you know. Bottom line: There are too many other places in Seattle to go to. Even with free cover, free coat check and even free drinks, it’s not worth it. I’d rather swim with sharks. At least I know I’m safe.

I’ll keep this one brief and bitter. Went there on a Saturday night for a friend’s birthday. Table«service» was 45 minutes after the reserved time. Bouncers were d-bags. Bartenders were hardly worthy of the title. Music was basic top 40 and hip hop. Sausagefest. Get my drift?

I’m giving this place 4 stars for the sweet ass happy hour deals! I heard from a friend that this place is pretty douchey at night. We came here around 6:30pm on a Monday night and grabbed some seats at the bar. I do like that it’s dark inside this bar and they offer quite a bit of comfy seating. I’m not into pool but they have a few tables. My hubby and our friend got a pitcher of Hoegaarden for $ 5 bucks and a big ass plate of chicken nachos. I opted for the hummus plate because I’m a sucker for hummus and pita bread! All the food was super cheap and they gave you a ton. Can’t beat that! I’d probably come back here again and try other food items because I was happy with what I tasted. I was also told bottles of wine were $ 10 during happy hour so for that… I shall return.

I come here every once awhile with friends. For Belltown, I think this is a pretty good club for weekends gatherings since they do not have covers. So its easy to hang out with a group of friends where guys dont have to pay for covers to get in. Coat check is $ 3. They have two dance floors. The back dance floor normally does not open til around 11:40pm or later on the weekends. Drinks are pricey just like every other club in Seattle. My friends and I felt ignored once when we tried to order drinks where the bartenders kept assisting other friends or acquaintance first. Otherwise, this place is decent!

Ok we come here quite a bit. It’s in Belltown, it’s an ok club, we get frequent event invites, guest list is until 11(here’s lookin’ at you Tia Lou’s!) and it’s always free. Tables are also free last I checked which is a perk. There’s two rooms. We go straight to the back. The music is typical top 40, the backroom crowd is 20-something Asians and the drinks are mediocre. I remember they made me a really horrible Vitamin C shot but I remember a decent(for a club) lemon drop shot. A bartender there did nearly lose my boyfriend’s Id and credit card there once. She kept telling him he had to pay in another form. We were there for a while as he sent her back and forth until she found it and looked glum about being wrong. I’ve also noticed that the problems/crimes are getting worse and worse around here. I have witnessed fights right outside and really careless drivers on the alley to the side. And yes, these are the people who were inside the club. Freaks me out a bit. :(

i can’t. I just can’t. No matter how many times I come by this place(whether to celebrate someone’s birthday, or halloween, or whatever.), it just feels so sweaty and dank… it’s full of girls who are stretched out on the ground being grinded on by short guys(i mean, is this the new DV8?), and everywhere you turn it’s an OMG moment. Plus, I’m kind of tired of running to my car to avoid being shot.

Music: 3 Setting: 3 People: 3 Drinks/Prices: 3 This is a solid choice for a night out. But if you have better alternatives, by all means go try those. There are a bunch of TVs all around, because this place is a sports bar/poolhall by day. At night, they have music in the front, and they open up the back room(really, just a huge room) for dancing. I find it okay. The drinks are normal like $ 5 for a cup of beer, it’s not grouching like Trinity nor is anybody going to mistake it for happy hour. No cover before 11, so… can’t complain. People are a fair mix of everything, pretty surprising actually. All in all, it’s adequate.

Lets be straight and clear and set the divide: The Scene: Fun! Lots o’lights+smoke. Music: Mix of hip hop, top 40 and some vintage. Free Cover For All. Crowd is alive and a good mix. Nice bouncers(one even helped guide my attempt to parallel park) The billards are great for just hanging out post-dancing or just wanting to sit out. The space is plentiful for socializing. Uh-Oh: It gets crazy packed here thus creating a dance floor so humid you have to leave after 30 minutes. Its impossible to dance without accidentally bumping into someone else’s partner or not getting stepped on. Be wise and bring proper shoes — not the ones you want to get stepped on!

My mouse hovered over the 1 and 2 stars and then I decided to be a little generous. Copper Cart is a mix between a clubby scene and a bar with a random pool table or two thrown in for good measure. The DJ was rockin’ but that was my friend’s personal buddy for her birthday so I can’t even give Copper Cart credit for that. So CCC, let me count the ways in which you baffle the bedazzle out of me. First, you make a bunch of skinny, ill-dressed girls and boys stand outside in the freezing cold just so you can make it seem like your establishment is popping? I was already inside when you started doing this and all 6 of the bartenders were bored and waiting for people to come in and the place was nearly empty. FAKEOUT. And the worst offense of all. Requiring a $ 20 minimum on our cards in order to start a tab. So my friend and I bought 2 drinks and 2 shots of amaretto to cover our bases. The grand total? $ 40 — are you serious?! Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Yes. Seriously. How could a wee amaretto run us $ 10? And on top of THAT, the bartender tacked on an automatic 20% gratuity. It’s not like we were a raging party of 10 or more, just two girls standing apart from the birthday group. And as a response, the bartender shrugs and goes«sorry, belltown prices.» I’m just a little speechless at those jacked up prices, I’d take my business elsewhere.

This place is okay. I came here for my birthday celebration because it was close to the place we ate for dinner, and it had no cover — so that’s a plus. The shots were a little on the expensive side, but they were more like double shots anyway, so that wasn’t so bad either. We got there around 10pm and the place was fairly empty. Plenty of room to walk around, which gave me a chance to take a picture in front of the famous Copper Cart wall :-P THEN, 11:30 hits. and wow, does the place get packed! I was shoulder to shoulder with everyone, even with two dance floors and a pool table area! My friend and I went outside for some air — it was WAYTOOHOT inside… and the line was around the corner. Apparently, they were supposed to have air conditioning installed earlier that week, but the guy never showed(or so said someone that worked inside). Either way, it was ridiculous with the heat. To make things worse, they wanted people who stepped outside, to wait back in line in order to get in. Then what the hell is the point of a stamp? Luckily, they let my friend and I back in because it was my birthday… but if I would have had to wait back in line, I would have left. All in all, I was with great friends, so I had a good time… but it definitely wasn’t due to the venue.

The group wanted to go here after dinner and being only a couple blocks away, off we hobbled over in the rain around 1030PM or so we girls wanted to dance. Music… ok. Booze… uh… Whatever, booze is booze when u want booze. People watching… uh… eh? Hotness factor? Not-so-much. We had a good hot group there, so my group was fun. Kinda reminded me of a bad slightly ghetto New Jersey club — ones I went to a few times when I was barely legal and working in New York City. I didn’t get the sports being shown on the TVs on all the walls. Weird. Weird. Weird.

Belltown probably needed another nightlife place like the nation needs another stock market dive– but as long as people are going out and meeting friends, we might at well venture away from some of the gritty meat market underworld places — aka: current Belltown watering holes. We just stopped in for a quick drink Friday night, so I didn’t get to enjoy the food(which smelled delicious) on their large menu. We did get to experience the exemplary customer service, the fair prices, and the original wine list and cocktails. Can’t wait to update as we stop in and sample the food. The interior décor and ambiance are worth a visit! If I had people visiting who wanted a classic night out dancing — I would totally bring them here! Not a meat market at all — it is a fabulous restaurant that gets people dancing.
