Delicious gyros! Great lamb and beef combo; meats were very juicy! Definitely will be a regular here:)

Good coffee, nice staff, GREAT gyros. I’ve guiltily had 3 gyros in the passed week. Absolutely obsessed and highly recommend.

Bus Stop is part of my daily routine! I would be much less productive and cranky with out it. Super convenient location with tons of parking. The coffee is VERY tasty and is from Mukilteo Roasting Co. Soooooo much better than Starbucks. Elias, the owner is a great dude. Always in a good mood and is genuinely conversational. He remembers the details of my life and keeps a conversation going day to day when I visit. His staff follows his lead closely and are outgoing and friendly too. They recently started selling Gyros which are fantastic. I’ll stop by for a snack when traffic is bad on I5. Very reasonable price for a great meal. Overall, Bus Stop is a Roosevelt neighborhood gem!!!

I ordered a gyro and a few butter-horns and was very pleased with both of them, my boyfriend got an iced mocha and was also pleased. I would definitely recommend :) the service was pretty fast and they were very nice.

Slow service, over priced and baristas are entitled. Barista took their sweet time and then commented on the fact that only 1 person tipped them. This was my first time stopping into this coffee shop, there were 4 of us who ordered breakfast items and coffee on a Saturday and we were the only customers when we arrived. We will not be returning anytime soon.

Cool place, very chill. The crowd is mixed, but there are mostly 25 – 50 year-olds here now. Prices aren’t bad, and there’s a good selection, especially if you’re into espresso(I’m not, but tried the Bollywood anyway — strong, and bit, but hey, that’s espresso!). Oh, and they have parking! Right on!

One of the best coffee shops in Seattle! Bus Stop has great coffee and awesome grab and go food items. Perfect for the morning commute or a quick afternoon snack. From wraps to tasty pastries, everything is on point! Fresh and delicious! Try the Greek Frappé. It’s excellent! Service is top notch and the staff is always friendly. I love the music they play in the shop too! This place has improved drastically since new ownership took over about a year ago. Support your neighborhood coffee shop!

I love this place! Great variety and quality of drinks, teas, and tasty treats. I appreciate the fact that there is more than the standard pastry fare. There are wraps, sandwiches, and my personal favorite: spanakopita. The owner is really friendly and I love the fact that it is an independent business. Not to mention the free parking! Where else can you find that in Seattle?

What a shame this gem of a location went to waste this morning during the Friday commute. Five customers in line, air pots that had run dry, and one poor girl trying to handle the rush-hour meant that I would have missed my bus if I’d waited long enough to buy coffee. Sadly, had to walk out in disgust of another cute little proprietor coffeehouse who’s owner doesn’t understand. NO coffee joint can offer satisfactory service during the morning rush with only one worker!

Consistent quality, not too sweet mocha, and they partner with local restaurants for sandwiches and breakfast hot food. The sausage burrito is quite good.

We came to the Bus Stop at about lunchtime and the place was dead, which was a little bit awkward. You know the barista is listening to your conversation when you’re the only people there… I’m guessing they get most of their business in the morning. But the coffee was really good(awesome latte foam!), the owner was friendly, and the muffin I had was tasty. They also have a variety of magazines around to read while you enjoy your drink.

The owner was very friendly and offered a great choice of espresso and alternative milks. He explained his special process to transfer from preservative pre-made food to freshly made items. Great commitment.

If I were to be questioned whether I come to this coffee shop for the people or for the coffee… why not both? I only started coming to Bus Stop Espresso after they had reopened under new ownership. The location of this shop is handy as I work only a few blocks away. The coffee: wonderful. It’s come to a point where they know exactly what I like whenever I walk through the door. I’m going to admit, I have become a regular. They have a wide variety of everything from hemp milk to the always caffeinated cold brew. The people: The new owner Laura is a wonderful woman. She is there almost every time that I go and all you get from her is positivism and eagerness to make sure your coffee takes just the way you want it to. Also, I dare anybody to strike up a conversation with her and NOT enjoy it. Bus Stop Espresso is all in all a wonderful place for coffee and conversation.

I never like to write a 2-star«meh» review but have a couple issues. The new look is nice, clean with bright light and welcoming new paint job and floors. But, I do not come in for the décor but the coffee and occasional sweet. My coffee order was given to a staff who came inside from smoking and did not wash their hands. Yuck. My cup smelled of nicotine. The pastries are so-so. I believe they cook in house(?) but the selection sorry to say doesn’t look professionally done. Didn’t help it also smelled of nicotine. I agree with the below review of dogs around the food areas. Sorry no dog hair in the food please! That’s just asking for a health code violation. I will go in again since it’s close and it appears they are still getting things together. The staff are friendly which is nice, but the staff switches out week to week which is bizarre. This is not meant to be a terrible review since it just reopened a couple months ago, just hope it gets better and staff at least wash your hands! I will wait the 30 seconds to get nicotine free goodies!

Any Seattle-ites will probably take me to the state line & throw me over it for saying this, but I will admit I do not drink coffee… at all! My caffeine comes mostly from soda & even then, I have built up enough of a tolerance that any energy-boosting properties from it are likely nonexistent. So coffeehouses mostly beckon me with their atmosphere & relaxation possibilities. With my aim to give those little(sometimes also little-known) establishments a shot before any big-time chains, seeing Bus Stop within a stone’s throw from my house was a godsend. It quickly became a favored haunt in the first year of my move to Seattle. My visits became less frequent once time & other issues took precedence, but I would go back & be welcomed by the old owners like a lost friend. The fact I mostly came for the discounted day-old pastries & cans of soda(with an occasional detour into an Odwalla smoothie or an Italian soda) did not seem to faze them. The free & fast Wi-Fi & the diverse music selection(it alternated between KEXP, reggae covers of oldies & one of the previous owners’ own collection of chill-out music) were also my main reasons for making the sometimes-daily jaunt, before work changed it to weekly & often monthly. My last trip to Bus Stop was a few months before they closed for renovation. I have not been back since they reopened, but will very soon. From the outside, it looks like it has undergone a dramatic face lift by the current management. What appears to be a retro, everything-old-is-new-again approach to decorating is a novel touch. One can only hope the new set of clothes has not changed the old personality of their wearer. Sometimes the convenience of a Starbucks or a Peet’s can be nice & easy. But if you care for something more compact & homey, where it almost feels like the coffeehouse at the end of the universe(and yet still tops for convenience), you could do no better than Bus Stop. Even those like me who never touch a cup of Joe in their lives will come away with a new morning haunt(in my case, one that needs to be rehaunted again).

I know. All five-star reviews from me. But in the last two years, I didn’t review it. It’d gone down hill and I didn’t know how to say, «I miss what you were.» Fortunately, Bus Stop’s got new owners who have put a lot into revamping this neighborhood spot. Bus Stop has a MUCH improved look, with new seating, a remodeled interior and spotlessly clean bathroom. They’ve also added a menu of savory and sweet items, most made in-house. I like the vegetarian chorizo burrito and the chocolate covered strawberries. And cold brew is available year-round! Yay! Finally, I can bring people back to Bus Stop for meetings and coffee with friends. It’s a super convenient, and(now) fun coffee shop to go to. Try it out if you haven’t in a while.

It took me a while to write a review for this place because even though I’ve Unilocal duked it like a champ, it never really wowed me. I have a little crown at the top of this page, and yet it was just a regular little coffee shop. The coffee was okay. Not bad, not great. The place is small, not bad, not great. Everything is meh. No, that’s not fair. Maybe Meh+. That’s a capital meh and a plus sign. It’s on the high upper edge of meh. I didn’t want to write a Meh+ review for a place I frequent regularly. Luckily, I discovered they had something called a «Mexican Mocha» the other day, and that drink is excellent, so now I can finally give them the five stars I wanted to give them. ~~~~ They let me bring my dog inside when I order coffee, which is the main reason I give them so much business — enough that I managed to out-Duke a frequent Unilocaler with the Unilocal app. Speaking of which, Unilocal, the women that Duchess a place should get Tiaras. Crowns are not necessarily gender neutral. Since I’ve been going here they switched owners. Everything is pretty much the same, except they run out of cookies and bagels more quickly now. Also, the floor is sometimes a little dingy. Still, the workers are pretty social, which is nice. Or I guess it would be nice if I didn’t have caffeine headaches every time I walk in. They may as well be talking to an equus africanus asinus. I’ll wait while you Google it. Otherwise, I like this place a lot. I might have to change my review if they ever ban dogs since it’s not really an official policy for them to allow pets inside. But then maybe I’ll still go back, because at least I wouldn’t keep spilling coffee all over myself because my dog really wants to chase a motorcycle. I really wish I paid attention in that class on Osmosis.
