I stopped in here this morning while waiting for my bus to Redmond. I’m so glad I did! The baristas are friendly, the atmosphere is modern and cozy, and the coffee is good(hemp latte was what I tried). Also, they have locally-made breakfast wraps and sandwiches. I got the yam & black bean with dipping sauce. They heated it up for me and it was delicious. I enjoyed every bite. Plentiful seating and great music. Sometimes overly modern coffee shops make it a point to play obscure music that very few people know about, but Broadcast was cranking out artists like Paul Simon and The Beatles :) All the customers were bobbing their heads and tapping their feet along with the music, myself included. Such an enjoyable and pleasurable experience!

Been to the other 2 Broadcast coffee, so gotta try the 3rd. Likewise it has friendly staff and great coffee. Cozy place with not as much space as their newer store, but still overall great. Thanks for being my coffee supply during my trip!

I really like the indie coffee shop vibe here. The space is very open and just has that cool artist feeling. The staff is very nice. I ordered a small mocha. The menu prices say they include tax but I’m pretty sure she charged me for a medium mocha… The size I got looked to be 8oz but the price was definitely for the middle option which was weird. Anyway the espresso itself is fine. I think they should have used less mocha syrup or something — about halfway through it was just pure syrup and it doesn’t taste very good. I suppose mixing it would help as well but I think less syrup is in order next time.

Amazing little spot in a new modern building with cool vibes and ample seating. Their coffee is amazing and I’m happy to know they have a second location in Seattle. I highly recommend Broadcast coffee!

Cute, airy, quiet, and air-conditioned = perfect for working from«home.» Unfortunately, the iced Americano I had was weak :(

I’m almost tempted not to right a review because I don’t want more people crowding this place. It’s a amazing place to get work done if you are in the hill because of how empty it is. It’s kind of tucked in a odd location on Bellevue. The people mainly who frequent the store are those who are just picking up a drink to-go. The coffee is also good but that’s not nearly as important as how efficient one can become while sitting at Broadcast.

The extremely coffee-savy staff is very kind and willing to educate you on their origin coffee and the methods they use to brew the coffee. You can tell this place sees coffee not only as a quick pick-me-up… But as a form of art. Their presence in Seattle is greatly appreciated in this aspect. My coffee was light with tastes hinting of burnt marshmallows mixed with caramel. Throughly enjoyed it. They also have a great assortment of vegan pastries that are also gluten free if that’s something you appreciate, which I do.

My favorite coffee spot in Capital hill! Really low key with awesome coffee and a great atmosphere. There is also a ton of seating and space so you don’t feel cramped.

Though not the best coffee in Seattle, the atmosphere is tranquil. Never flooded with tourists unlike the Starbucks roastery, Broadcast coffee is a nice place to spend a Sunday morning with your favorite book.

I’ve stopped in here on the way to work a few times. I want to like it, but I never leave very impressed. I rarely encounter coffee that I find undrinkable, but their espresso roast has a sour flavor that I just can’t always handle. I tossed my drink after two sips this morning. The service is friendly and the space is pleasant, but I don’t see myself going back here anytime soon.

I stop here almost every morning and half to stay the coffee is pretty awesome! The only reason I held back the last star is because it sometimes takes a while to get your coffee, especially if three or more people have ordered in front of you. Don’t get me wrong it’s worth the wait but order speed could be improved. Also they focus on vegan health stuff, no my thing but those that do I’m sure really appreciate it. I dig breakfast burritos or wraps, it they had that here it would be a complete package in terms of my morning stop for coffee and a snack.

I go to Broadcast a few times a week – it’s on the walk to work. The coffee is very good, albeit a bit slow. But that’s pretty much my only complaint! A slow shot is better than a shot pulled too fast. Perhaps my favorite thing about Broadcast is that they’re dog-friendly. A lot of other independent coffee shops have started limiting dogs inside – cough, Analog Coffee, cough – which makes it much easier to stop in on the way to work with my trusty four-legged coworker.

When I moved to Seattle, I fantasized about becoming a regular at a cute coffeeshop. They would know my favorite order, let me hang out for hours and show me pictures of their cats. Broadcast fulfilled all of my dreams and more. When I was unemployed this summer, they let me nurse a tea for hours while I desperately job searched, and Nick even gave me pep talks. Natalie makes the best dirty chais I’ve ever had(strong espresso shot, not too sweet chai, really dense foam). I always feel welcome to hang out or study here, and the free New York Times is an extra incentive to come in and chill. My partner gets a mocha, and I think the overall concept of a mocha is weird, but she’s says they’re good here. I feel lucky to have this place in my neighborhood, and appreciate very much the sense of community and connection they foster. My only suggestion is stop using the Molly’s brand prepared sandwiches. They’re always gross, and I’ve tried them at a couple different places. Take more of my money, have better sandwiches! The pastries are good though, I like the blueberry muffins.

This coffee shop is sandwiched in between like 5 other coffee shops and the espresso leaves much to be desired. I dumped my mocha and walked half a block to Bauhaus. Ick. Despite the jar of dog treats inside, dogs aren’t welcome here.

What a cute little spot! There was so much seating here and I’m glad I finally popped by to check it out. I’ve walked past a number of times and never bothered to take a good long look into the window. There must be enough room to seat up to 30 – 40 people here. Low tables, communal tables, small tables, long tables, and even a nice big table in the back. This is an ideal place to work from or host meetings or just hang out and get work done. The coffee was good, it was SUPER cheap, and the service was quick and super friendly. I loved the art on the walls, the event posters, and the simple, clean décor. They also sell some mugs, some coffee makers and some accessories on a little shelf inside along the wall near the register. There’s bike parking, nearby street parking, and garages as well. Ideal for a nice quiet place to hang out and get work done.

I stopped by a few months ago to get a little mocha(in a for-here cup). My mocha experience was pretty amazing. I kept trying to put the cup down and found myself taking«just one more sip» instead. My cup didn’t make it to the table until it was empty and I knew I would have to return again someday…

I live right near Broadcast, and it’s such an adorable looking place that I’ve been tempted and gone in a few times. But, sigh, it just didnt work for me. the food is very meh. definitely not happy-breakfast-food. It feels a little stale and heavy. Their hot chocolate is okay, but espressos are really awful. everyone is super friendly though– which makes it even sadder. i really WANT to like this place. Maybe I’ll give it one more chance :)

Great little coffee shop in the capital hill area. My Americano was not bad. Seemed a bit watered down in comparison to some. Not sure on how many shots of espresso were in my large drink. All in all tasty. They have offerings like stevia, agave, etc. which I do indeed appreciate. The place is clean, quaint, and the morning staff is super nice. Glad that they open at 6:30am when I am passing by on my way to work!

Cool coffee art, stale espresso shots I’m a sucker for coffee art. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte. I enjoyed the first few sips, but after that, I noticed the shots were stale. I had to dump the rest. I was excited to try a local coffee house, but was slightly disappointed. Although my personal experience was not the most satisfying, my friend had a delicious cappuccino(trust me — I tasted it!). Further, the baristas offered to make up for my experience. I give them an A+ for top-notch customer relations.

It’s not quite Bauhaus in terms of tranquility, but the staff is really nice! I prefer this as more of a takeout place. I don’t like their wi-fi auth bit as much as the other places and I found it to be a bit too social to work. If you want to go out for coffee, conversation, etc: This is your place where some of the other spots are more like a library /study. The name and branding is excellent.
