I come here regularly for their biryani. Yumm. Lamb biryani is a must try.

Good/ok food that’s in my mind economical due to portion sizes and prices. A little disappointed they only had mango lassi and no paneer esp palak paneer on the menu but again it’s in Westlake. After reading others reviews, agree that the naan is strange since it’s not usually cooked in a square pan then cut into pieces/have had better from the supermarket. Authentic Indian food lovers shouldn’t go here.

What do you expect from Food Court Indian? It was edible. The Vindaloo was tastey and hot, but small portion for the price. The rice was not basmati and the naan was strange, but it wasn’t terrible. GOODHOTVINDALOO!

Chicken masala bad and aloo saag decent, the naan is like Pizza Hut crust and the rice was tasteless yellow mush. Don’t go here even if you love indian food and are craving it! I wish I looked at reviews before coming here. Edit: I change my 2 star to 1… It’s been about 10 minutes since I sat to eat and my «naan» is hard as a brick. No wonder they had all these sitting slices in a steamer before serving. The owners need to seriously consider what/how they make their food.

My lentil soup was actually decent. I waited about five minutes for the«naan,» but what I got was actually some kind of pre-cut subsitute. The woman gave me an extra piece for the wait, but I watched a strand of her hair flutter down onto the piece as she placed it on the wax paper. The«spiced tea» was watery and lukewarm.

Bad food. Not worth the money. I ordered Biryani but it was very bad. Plain cooked rice is better than their Biryani

This review is based on the masala dosa. It’s a great food court find, a little different from the norm. It’s curried potatoes and other vegetables wrapped in a crêpe, and they give you a side of soup too. Takes a few minutes to prepare, but it’s worth it. Always friendly service as well. Get the masala dosa!

VERYSERIOUSCASEOFFOODPOISONING. I will spare you the details. i didn’t expect anything above McDonalds level Indian food, however I did expect them to keep the food heated at an adequate degree. I’ve been randomly and convietly frequenting this place for close to 20 years. NEVEREVERAGAIN! I have life to do! I hope this place experiences luck as unfortunate as mine. It seems only fair. Side note their food was never even that good, ANDTHE cashier tried to stiff me my change.

I regret why I had lunch here. I ate Dosa and it was so bad. My friend took some other dish and it was a crap too. Never ever go to this place.

Needed something quick to eat on my lunchbreak and quick was about all it was. Had the vindaloo. No spice. No flavor. Served with coleslaw? What? People running the place were very nice but will not be going back. What can you really expect from a food court.

They sold me pita bread saying it was naan. Like dude, I’m Indian, I know what naan is. Food looked old and stale. I understand that people at malls eat at the food stalls out of necessity, but don’t ever make the mistake of eating here.

I randomly decided that I needed Indian food and was curious about this place. Well… aside from the friendly and nice people working there… everything was awful. I had the chicken tikka with naan. The naan was… not naan. It was like some kind of garlic bread or focaccia bread except for not even good. I got the garlic naan and it had some kind of thin reddish spread over it that was very unappetizing looking. The curry was decent, but the chicken had not been cooked in it and it was very easy to tell that. The rice was not good and the curried onion tasted like sandwich onions :/ For the same price, Trader Joe’s has a microwaveable chicken tikka masala and also you can buy their naan and throw it in the oven and the result is worlds above this place. Or go to the lunch buffet at Maharaja down by Pioneer Square. Do skip this one.

Service was crap, bordering on rude. Food was very unappitizing to look at and really had me put off by the time I went to bite into this warm wet mess that I was given… …however, the spices in the Chicken Vindaloo were not too bad. The rice was overcooked(duh) and the chicken itself was dry and a little bland as well however the sauce(which they drenched the rice in) had a nice heat and good flavor. I’m not going back, but at least it wasn’t a complete miss.

Had lunch at their kiosk in the mall. The Biryani was undercooked– the spice blend was not mised properly and it was not very appetizing.

It’s a mall food court Indian restaurant. I would not set expectations very high. I did just that, and I suppose I was pleasantly surprised. I got the aloo saag(potatoes in spinach). What was odd was that the curry was a bright yellow, and usually the saag curries are more of a green color. I found the flavor to be okay, although a bit watery. The sides were meh, mostly curried onions. But hey if you absolutely need Indian food in a hurry and don’t expect much, this place is not too bad.

If you MUST eat in the Westlake Food Court, may I suggest Bombay Wala? Friendly staff, lots of veggie options, tasty warm samosas. When I don’t have time to feast at Pabla Indian Cuisine on 2nd Ave(read my review, it’s my favorite!) then Bombay Wala is my downtown spot for Indian food. Veggie two items combo for $ 6-$ 7; so it’s cheap, too!

So disappointing! Let me start by saying that there used to be a Bombay Wala in Oregon’s Clackamas Town Center! Their food was so good that we would choose to have them cater large events instead of picking a sit down Indian restaurant. That Bombay Wala disappeared so I was super excited to see this one open up in Downtown Seattle! Meh just about covers it! The menu was the same as I remembered but somewhere along I-5(specifically between Portland and Seattle) I think they lost there spice rack! I tried the chicken curry, veggie korma, and Chicken and spinach, but nothing was very flavorful. The naan and mango lassi is pretty good. That was all. Next trip to Seattle I will be sticking to food trucks and mom and pop restaurants like a true north westerner! Lesson learned.

WTF was I thinking when I chose to eat at a food court for Indian food? I freakin’ love ethnic food, especially curries. SMH! Never again at this damn place!!! WHY? I ordered the chicken curry and it came w/rice, some salad thing and some yellow veggie. And I love Naan, so I said, «Why not?! You can never go wrong w/naan bread.» GUESSWHAT?! I got some random piece of loaf of bread that was NOT naan. Oh gosh. I stared at it, touched it, and picked at it and it was NOT naan. I was so mad. that was .49 cents plus tax!(LOL). But still. I was disappointed in the food. The chicken curry wasn’t too bad. The curries I sampled also were very American adapted tasting. I’ve tried many Indian places, so I know from different experiences and friends who have shared their cooking expertise. But the chicken curry was good, it was simple, but it didn’t taste very strong in Indian spices. I wish it did. It tasted like a typical curry, not very strong, just lots of butter. The veggies thing were gross. Didn’t eat it. Total cost was about $ 8. I wish I had went to a real Indian place. :( This is not authentic to me. So upsetting.
