A place that claims to be the«world’s best mac and cheese» has a lot to live up to. But wow, they deserve that title! There’s only two types of mac and cheese, which makes it simple and easy. You can even get the best of both worlds if you like. For 8oz, it’s $ 5.48 and 16oz, it’s $ 10.14. If you like a kick of spice, the Mariachi Mac and Cheese is the perfect pick. It has a blend of spice with piece of chopped roasted chiles mixed in. For the cheesiest mac and cheese though, you go with the classic. It can get overwhelming because of all the cheese, but I ain’t complaining. Yes Beechers, you win for the world’s best mac and cheese!

Get their Mac and cheese, not the crab sandwich! Not much can be said about the crab sandwich. They do use real crab meat, albeit tasting bland and not so fresh(fridge taste, anyone?). As for the cheese, their fresh curds taste great! I wish I can deep fry them right there! For you who appreciates the mellow tastes of milk and cheese, you may just love it more than their famous flagship cheese. The big tub of cheese and curd cutting display was certainly entertaining.

Definitely the best mac n cheese I’ve had(besides homemade). Located near Pike’s Place Market so there’s not a whole lot of parking since you’re downtown. If anything just plan on parking up a couple blocks and walk down to experience this gem and the market. I always get the Mariachi Max n Cheese with the Anaheim peppers mixed with the mac n cheese. The original is great too but I just prefer some spice(although it really has none). The one downside to the meal is it’s a little pricey, but honestly because it’s homemade and really fills me up, I can’t complain! A must have if you’ve never been to Seattle or simply never tried Beecher’s. Plan on eating in the market or in the grassy area at the end of the market because there are only a couple of chairs on the bar table in Beecher’s, but it fills up quickly.

Theres not much to it. might be the best mac and cheese ever! Get the original –it truly is the best. You can take the frozen mac to go, they are safe for flight. The small tin trays taste better than the frozen macs in boxes(trust me). Beechers will give you a ice pack to take with you and most hotels will check your frozen items for free until departure. Always a must stop for us :)

Flagship Yum! Yes, I was a tourist, and my family and I found our way to the Pike Place market in Seattle. We are foodies, and we eat food. We sampled our way through various restaurants and stop at Beecher’s because well we love cheese, who doesn’t. We sampled there Jack and flagship cheese and then I found myself in the deli line ordering a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches. The lines were not terribly long but still it was somewhat of a wait and worth every second. There is just something so satisfying with the simplicity that is a grilled cheese sandwich. We were not went down, the cheese and the bread everything was done perfectly and we could not have been happier as we skipped down the street holding a grilled cheese sandwich. Excellent cheese, excellent sandwich, another food item off the bucket list.

Mac and cheese — the weakness of my healthy diet. I can have self control to stop myself from eating anything unhealthy except Mac and cheese. I have no will power when it comes to this food and beecher’s did not disappoint. It’s the first Mac and cheese that I’ve ever had where the cheese was great quality and super sharp. I love love love sharp cheddar cheese. The creamy sauce was phenomenal but the sharpness and quality of the cheese puts this place over the top and makes it the best. My hubby ordered the mariachi Mac which was also good but the other spicy flavors and veggies in there kinda hides the cheesy flavor so I stuck to mine. I’m so glad he decided to get his own portion because there’s no way I could’ve shared this. We also got this braid herb bread thing. Not anything spectacular but i did use it to scoop up all of the creamy sauce left in my bowl.

I’m not sure what Beecher’s cheese taste like but my husband and I tasted their World Famous Homemade Mac & Cheese. Him and I decided to do our own 3 hour tour of Pike Place Market and saw from a list of suggested places that this was something to try, so we did. We got an 8 oz. container and shared and we were just«taste testing». Lol. The taste of the cheese sauce was pretty good and noodles were cooked perfectly. It was served nice and warm. The only thing I did not like was the cheese sauce was a little more runny than I personally like. I like my cheese sauce to be a little thicker but the taste was good. It’s worth a taste. I’m not sure I would say it’s be «BEST» Mac & Cheese I have had, but the sauce was good. Overall, it was a nice experience to get to try a Seattle favorite. Like I said I wouldn’t say it was the best but I did enjoy it. It’s worth a try.

Let’s keep adding onto the good reviews. You want cheese. Beecher’s has cheese. Like creamy? Can’t go wrong with the Mac n’ Cheese for portability. Not as messy as carrying around a gooey sandwich.

We knew we’d be making a road trip to Mt. Rainier the next day and would want to pack some snacks. So we picked up a tub of herbed cheese curds here. What a delicious treat! They were fresh and seasoned perfectly!

We stumbled into Beechers as we pursed the many treasures of Pike Place Market. My friend and I love cheese. Come on, what’s not to love about it? Especially when it’s freshly made. We were hooked the minute we tried the cheese curd samples they had laid out. You can see the cheese being processed on the other side of a huge glass wall if you happen to visit this location. But what got us was their fantastic menu. I know I wanted to try almost everything! My friend and I shared their Mariachi Mac N Cheese. It was a really good variation of traditional Mac N Cheese because of the corn and mild spice added by the chilies. I would have loved to try their crab melt! Alas, we had to save something for next time :). They also have an admirable selection of cheeses that you can purchase. They also offer many of the accompaniments people like to enjoy with their cheeses, which makes it a great one stop shop!

But really, let’s talk about cheese. I eat Mac & Cheese like its my job, and Beecher’s has the best by far! It’s creamy, mouth watering, filling. I’m not sure how they do it, but it’s magical. Located in Pike Place Market, I quickly stopped by this place after the mid-afternoon Rush and have yet to regret my decision. The cup of goodness created by spirit fingers of those who work there, was more than affordable for a post-grad like myself. At that point, I was sold. Overall, I think everyone should try it!

We are suckers for Mac n cheese!!! Even though we were pretty stuffed from eating all day, we managed to make room for this. We kept passing it up the earlier days of our trip that we had to hadddd to stop by. The line is crazy at this place too. We shared a bowl of Mac n cheese and wowza!!! So delicious! Every cheese bite… So worth all the pounds. I feel bad for those that are lactose that can’t enjoy this cheesy goodness! You can watch the employees make the cheese as you eat whatever you order. It’s pretty crowded inside but just squeeze your way through and be one with the tourists!

I tried the cheese curd and it wasn’t my cup of tea, I mean… my slice of cheese. I also got the macaroni and cheese and it wasn’t as cheesy as I had hoped. The line was long but it also took forever, so it was tough to stand there just to be disappointed. Really cool to see how cheese is made though.

Hands-down the best mac & cheese ever. I love everything cheese and I hold cheese in high regard, so I mean it when I say this place has bomb cheese. This place has a clear glass and«assembly line»(kind of like at Krispy Kreme) showcasing their big cheese tub where you can watch the workers churn cheese. My absolute favorite is the«World Famour Mac & Cheese.» It definitely tastes like homemade cheese, and isn’t too overwhelming at all. It’s rich and has a depth in flavor that makes you want more. The penne pasta is cooked to perfection, chewy but not too hard. It fills you up really quickly. The dungeness crab cheese melt was a flavor bomb. You can definitely taste the freshness of the crab and the cheesiness is throughout.

Long overdue Seattle review, so I’ll be starting with Beecher’s since it was the first shop we hit up after we landed. They’re located right at the corner at Pikes Place. There’s a huge window where you’re able to see how they process the cheese and what not. Onto the review, I loooove Beechers. It is really by far the best Mac & Cheese I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I shared the«World’s Best Mac & Cheese» along with their Breadzel. I honestly, did not expect to love their mac & cheese so much. Their Breadzel was okay, kind of drying and herby — I can pass on that. I also tried the Mariachi, but in the airport location. The Mariachi was also one of my favorites, but its not so much mac & cheese. It’s more like a southwestern style pasta with their red sauce, corn, and bits of red pepper. Regardless, I loved both. Full of flavor and makes a great snack to walk around Pikes Place Market. One of my biggest regret was probably not giving the cheese curds a try. Hopefully, I’ll be back in Seattle or New York to give it another try. Seattle Parking is the worst, so I’m not even going to get onto that. Luckily, we stayed at the Sheraton which was walkable distance.

I visited Seattle with a friend last month and Beechers cheese was a must stop! After seeing reviews of the Mac and cheese we just had to have it. I personally wanted to split a small order with my friend, but she wanted the whole thing. So we both ordered a small and it looked tiny, but that Mac is packed inside the container. It was so so yummy and rich and creamy. Definitely could have shared, but we were on vacation, so who cares! They have a lot of options and samples too! I got to try cheese curds for be first time, cool stuff! It’s located in the most touristy pike place market, which I love, and they care about their product. Must visit!

This place was cool. Samples: Frontgate– salty, nutty, easy to break. Fresh curd– clean taste Food: Mariachi Mac– not great but not horrible. I would pass. Dungeness Crab Melt– ok but it’s basically a snack. I kept falling off the seat inside. I liked watching the cheese being made inside. Worth popping in and grabbing a sample at least.

Now this place was cool! There’s a window where you stand on Pike Place and watch the cheese go from liquid to solid. Mind you it does take many hours but you could potentially do it. I came on a Thursday evening and saw the liquid being swirled around in this big vat making, what I assume is, cheese curds. By Friday morning, workers were up scooping out the curds and packaging them for the same day production. I ordered the Mac & Cheese twice. It was so friggen delicious. I don’t think I’ll ever have macaroni and cheese as tasty as this one again. Do yourself a favour and get it. I ate it again on Saturday morning while suffering from a really bad hang over. It still tasted great coming up a few hours later(by no fault of Beecher’s). I regret nothing.

Beecher’s is one of the places that you just have to visit when you’re in Pike’s Place. Granted, before I visited Seattle, I had no idea what Beecher’s was. My boyfriend was the one that dragged me into the shop and I slowly found out. Well, not slowly. You can’t look at a huge cheese sign and not know what it is. The establishment is pretty small and typically, they’re very crowded. Sometimes, you can’t even find space to walk through the shop, much less figure out where you want to go. They have a ton of different cheeses towards the back and some cheese samplings. While in the front is where you order your food and across from the cashier is some places that you can sit in. There aren’t a whole lot of space though so you’ll eventually see people standing and eating. They have an area where you can see them making their flagship cheese. It’s a great site to be able to see it all in action. You’ll eventually see curds in the making! I’ve tried their mac n cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, and tomato soup. Their mac n cheese is okay. I don’t really like how the penne pasta is overcooked but that can’t be helped. The whole pot of mac n cheese is just sitting there so naturally the pasta will grow soggy. Their grilled cheese sandwich is good but I’m not really a fan of grilled cheese. As for their tomato soup, it is good. Definitely great to dip your sandwich in but I’ve had better tomato soup elsewhere so I can’t say that it’s fantastic. The best thing that Beecher’s has to offer, in my opinion, is their cheese. Plain ‘ol cheese. Their flagship cheese is really really good. It has the right amount of flavor and sharpness to it. It’ll go great with crackers. My boyfriend actually bought some of their flagship cheese to bring home as well as their four year aged flagship as well. My friend also bought two of their flagship cheese to bring home. Beecher’s is definitely a great place to stop by while at Pike’s. You must sample some of their cheeses. Bring some cheese home. If you have any questions, they’ll be able to answer it very well.

Beecher’s Handmade Cheese was on our list of places to try so we stopped by here on our second day in Seattle. It’s located right in Pike Place so it was convenient. There was a small line, but it moved fairly quickly. //FOOD // World’s Best Mac & Cheese: Flagship, Just Jack, penne pasta and spices. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it’s the worlds best. I felt like the Mac & cheese was there for a little too long. The Mac felt a little gritty and it was super heavy. A small container was enough to share. 3⁄5 Mariachi Mac & Cheese: Roasted Anaheim chilies, a blend of fresh veggies and flagship come together with a spicy kick. This Mac and cheese didn’t do anything for me. I didn’t care for the taste of the cheese and spices that they used. 1⁄5 Overall, I didn’t really see the hype of the Mac & cheese at Beecher’s. It could have been better in a lot of ways. Also, they offer samples of a compel cheeses in the store area, but the guy in front of me used the same toothpick to grab multiple cheeses and in between he was sucking on the toothpick. It was so unsanitary that it was disgusting…

I’ve been searching almost all over the country for the best mac and cheese; however, this was not one of them. Don’t get me wrong. I liked the mac and cheese but it wasn’t the best that I’ve had. It wasn’t as creamy as I thought it would be and it was a bit more salty. However, I did enjoy looking at how the cheese was being made in the lab. There were limited seating and there was a long line. Was it worth the wait? To be honest, no it wasn’t. But it was worth a try.

If you’re creating your own food tour like we did of Pike Place Market, Beecher’s is a must stop. The line moves pretty fast so don’t worry if it’s out the door. There is also two different lines, one to order just cheese and one to order the food. We ended up ordering a small world’s best mac & cheese, and it was incredible. Creamy and cheesy. Enough said. We wanted to try the grilled cheese with crab, but since we were trying to eat small, we opted out. We saw others eating the grilled cheese, and it looked really good. Seating is very limited, so probably best to just eat as you walk around.
