Ballard Bridge Les Schwab

Came here this afternoon to have a flat tire patched and placed back on my car. Despite the shop being full of people the entire time I was there, I was in and out in under an hour, for $ 15. The employees were positive and went out of their way to make me feel taken care of. Will return any time I need help with my tires!

Been waiting over three hours just to get tire pressure checked. There’s no excuse for this simple regular service to take this long to get to. I purposely came in on a Monday to avoid the weekend rush time.
Updated to three stars. The service person got to me right at the three and a half hour mark, and was knowledgeable and helpful.

Amazing integrity and service the last 15 years. Steve at the Ballard location is a great manager. I wouldn’t go anywhere else… ever.

Went to see ‘The Martian’ last night. Fantastic movie! Damon was superb.
But it turned out to be a very expensive evening.
After the movie, I headed for home in heavy traffic. So heavy that when I saw the piece of concrete lane curbing sitting sideways in the street, I could not swerve because of the traffic and had to run over it. And hear the slow hiss while the car’s message panel told me I had low tire pressure. I managed to limp another half mile in order to get into the right lane and pulled into an Arco station. My front tire was flat as a pancake. I went inside and bought a can of fix a flat only to find it wouldn’t work cuz there was a gash in the tire.
So my son and I got the Edge jacked up and the tire changed. Then we let the scissor jack down. the front tire looks good, but I look back and now the REAR tire is flatter than a pancake!!! So I said, okay, lets use the fix a flat and then finish off by pumping in air. Then I will try to drive home faster than the air is leaking out. So, okay, we put the air and fix a flat in. I drive home very carefully and manage to get there before the last pound of air escape from the tire.
When I woke up this morning, i was figuring that I’d have to fire up my compressor, overfill the tire and try to make it down to Les Schwab before I hit the rim. (The rims are expensive. woefully so) So I called them to see if they carry the Pirelli Scorpions like I have. Talked to Trevon first and then Steve. Turns out they didn’t have the tires I stock. The tires on the car are rated for 40,000 and I have 36,000 on them. And, because it’s an AWD, I should have 4 of the same tires. So I opted to get 4 new Yoko tires which are rated as a step up from the Pirelli’s. Les Schwab sent a truck up and the repair guy, Tim took the old tire and removed the rear flat and took them both to the shop. He brought them back, installed them and put my spare away. I drove down to the shop and they put the other two tires on.
I knew I’d be looking at tires next year, so I am getting them a bit early. Steve, Tim and Trevon are super outstanding. They treated me as if I were royalty and got me back on the road. Super folks. And that is my Les Schwab story.

I wish I could remember the lady who helped me here. She was so nice and helpful.
I had a flat and went to this location. I’m not knowledgable about auto things, but this lady made everything easy and I didn’t feel like she was judging me.
She gave me a quote for some of their cheapest tires (I’m on a tight budget) and when I came to pick the tires up I guess they had sold the ones she quoted me on. But she upgraded my tires for free so I could get in and out in the same day.

Terrible service. Terrible customer service. I have NEVER been able to get my car looked at in a reasonable amount of time at this Les Schwab dealer. Today was a perfect example… My tire, a Les Schwab tire, needed a fast leak fixed. I’m driving my buddy around who has a dead battery in his car as a favor. I need 15 minutes of their time and they tell me to leave the car for 2.5 hours. I told them we had to pick up a battery and my friends kid from school… could not wait 2.5 hours. Got some attitude from the woman behind the counter like I was asking for something exceptionally difficult. I asked if I could schedule an appointment and bring the car back. NO, WE DON’T MAKE APPOINTMENTS. What? That is ridiculous. What good is a road hazard warrantee if you can never use the road hazard warrantee due to a stupid policy. I’LL NEVER BUY LES SCHWAB TIRES AGAIN.

These guys are incredibly friendly, the space is clean and tidy and there is great coffee and popcorn while you wait. The service is fabulous and they will repair a punctured tire for free :-) I definitely would recommend Les Schwab to absolutely everybody. I have been here numerous times and have always felt that it was the best service and quality in Seattle
