I was initially skeptical of an in-hotel restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly attentive service, varied menu, and delicious food. I would not hesitate to go here first if staying at this Marriott

Was exhausted after my drive over and needed sustenance. Nothing special, just overpriced hotel food. My steak sandwich was okay. the meat & potato portion was almost to die for but the rest, not so much. I would go back, on someone else’s dime ;)

First the place really looks nice, clean, with good and relaxing ambiance. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. However the service was long considering there were very few customers. Actually I think only 2 or 3 table, including ours, were filled. Anyway I ordered the bouillabaisse because I wanted something light and I wanted to stick to my diet. It was counterproductive because the dish just had 3 pieces of clams, a very small cut of salmon and a tiny cut of halibut plus some shrimps scattered. I ended up being so hungry still that I devoured the bread they serve. The dish also had sourdough soaked into it. I was just hungry that I ended up eating those overly soaked bread. The dish was just okay at best. The broth had a nice onion and garlic flavor to it, but that’s the best thing I can say. For the price, get something else. My gf ordered the pan seared halibut. It was actually good. I like the crust although the fillet was a little overdone and dry. The mash potato was smooth, rich, silky and flavorful. I usually do not eat mash potato but I ended up liking the one in this dish. Oh I forgot to mention how unsatisfied I was with my bouillabaisse that I finished the leftover from my gf’s plate haha. The dish was good, much better choice than what I had.

Giving this place three stars because my crab cake sandwich was FABULOUS. Craving it since I left! Service wasn’t exactly something to write home about but then again, it is just another airport hotel. Didn’t expect 4 diamond attention.

A surprise from a hotel restaurant! Having spent the past few days at the fabulous Four Seasons Hotel by the waterfront in Seattle, we spent a night before an early morning trip to Alaska. The Aqua Terra restaurant’s offerings and service exceeded our expectations. At dinner server Roy could not have been more gracious and helpful. Potted clams in a garlicky broth made resisting bread-dipping impossible. The chicken paillard was done perfectly, charred on the outside and juicy inside. The salads were fresh and delicious. Even the usual banal French fries were served piping hot and crisp on the outside! In the morning the breakfast offerings were plentiful. A chef making custom omelets at the buffet accommodated my request for feta cheese(which they did not have) with fresh goat cheese. Wouldn’t it be nice if all hotel restaurants located by airports had this quality of service and food?

Conveniently located in the SeaTac Marriott, the restaurant may be expensive, but the food was really good with good size portions, it was clean and the staff was really nice and attentive. The breakfast offers a buffet where drinks are included. If you are getting more than a bagel and water, it would be advantageous to choose the buffet for $ 21, because a drink, by itself, is $ 4. We had the opportunity to eat lunch and dinners there, as well. We preferred to dine here over the Marriott’s bar section of the hotel. There were more choices and service was much better. Don’t expect to use your internet on your phone or computer, though. Service drops to practically nothing as soon as you are in the seated area.

Had brunch here. Was OK but not fantastic. Service OK. Not so busy but chef was friendly and willing to cook anything eggs-wise or waffles.

Solid, if a bit overpriced. I just don’t understand the pricing mentality of airport hotel restaurants. If they were more reasonable, I would dine there more frequently. But they have the attitude that we are a captive audience and despite great chefs, I am not gonna pay big money(38 for a fish entrée plus 8! for a salad). Anyways, great job chef here at the A SeaTac Marriot. Too bad more folks wont taste your terrific artwork.

Stopped in while staying at the hotel. I expected a bit more from the«house special» crab soup. But I was pretty blown away by the tomato avocado salad, which was incredible! A little pricey for an average dinner, but really good for a restaurant in a hotel.

This restaurant is one of those best kept secrets. They recently renovated and the design and TRENDY and really breath taking. The food is amazing. For all you vegetarians out there, the cauliflower steak is the BEST. I had no idea that cauliflower could taste so good. TRYIT!!!

Sad to say I took my son here for Christmas dinner — made the reservation for 5pm, she had to go and verify our table was ready — that took until 5:10, then they attempted to seat us at a table with a FRESHLYFOODSTAINED table cloth with the fork sitting in stain(sorry, not acceptable to me) So another 10 minutes of us standing by the entrance to have someone talk to us and re-seat us. This was a champagne buffet, the waiter was not receptive to us. I guess because it was only the two of us. My glass went dry and stayed dry — he gave us our bill right away — while he waited on the table with a large group — making sure their glasses were kept full and places cleaned up. Finally came to get our payment and asked if I wanted more water or champagne — they were empty and we are paying now — sorry a little late in asking. I like the way he made it a point to open two bottles of champagne and leave them on the table for that group. Wow. Please don’t discriminate against a single mother with her 15 year old son. It’s not like we showed up in our jeans and tshirts, we were dressed very nicely and expected the same service as the larger family who had their children in pajama bottoms. The food was just OK, the stuffing and potatoes were cold, gravy was a tad bit salty. Turkey was very moist — so that was a plus! I know I will NEVER return or recommend this for a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner

Honestly, I was a big fan of Aqua Terra last year and raved about their wood-plank salmon in a review of the hotel last year, but I felt as though the quality of food had diminished in a year’s time. This time, the menu items were fewer and less appetizing. True, the whole wheat french toast with crushed corn flakes was innovative, but I felt as though the flavors were a bit bland(perhaps this is to be expected from«healthy» food, but I’ve had plenty of flavorful foods of this nature). Ah well. We’ll see what happens at this time next year.
