Tried to use the Unilocal discount for checking in and the guy working the counter would not let us. Very poor service

Unprofessional, poorly trained staff. Would not accept a current 10% off Unilocal check-​in offer. The guy working there was named Pret. He said he did not know anything about it. I asked if he could call a manager, but he refused. He told us we could come back after 3pm. That was not an option for us because we were leaving for a cruise before then. Oh, and no free wine carrying bags or cartons. He tried to sell us one for $ 12. He did end up giving us a used box to carry our wine out in, though. It’s just so irritating having to deal with people that 1) don’t know what they’re doing, 2) don’t do what they’re supposed to even when you tell them what it is and 3) refuse to get help from someone who does know what to do. Message to business owners and managers: train your staff.

Newly opened liquor store. Very clean and well stocked. Has a nice selection of local spirits. Super friendly service. This store was sorely needed in this neighborhood.
