Meat trio(short ribs, beef, and chicken) teriyaki, white rice and macaroni salad for 11 $. They even have Hawaiian can ice tea, spam musubi, ramen burger, and Katsura chicken. This is the first Hawaiian fast joint I been too and the only thing missing is hurricane popcorn.

If you are hungry after arriving at the airport, I highly recommend stopping at the nearby L&L Hawaiian Barbecue to grab a quick bite. It has a hole in the wall feel. The food is relatively cheap too. The Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken is awesome. It is full of flavor and very tender. The menu also features a Ramen Burger. I had yet to try one so I decided to take the opportunity to do so. I did not like it at all. However, I do not blame my opinion on the quality of the cooking. The taste of Ramen as a bun does not agree with my taste buds. The burger was cooked well. L&L is also a part of mall complex. As such, there is a parking garage for customers. I had a difficult time spotting it while driving so I recommend parking first and walking to find it. If you are visiting Seattle and looking for recommendations, please see

This place closes at 10 pm and 9 pm on weekends. Get it together Unilocal you ruined my day. But I will give L&L five stars because I love you L&L I really do

The staff here was soo friendly. Food was so fresh. I ordered here a few times during the week when I was working in the area and they always got my order right. A nice amount of food for under 10 bucks.

I was sooo excited when I found out there was a L&L BBQ in my neighborhood. The Loco Moco is a favorite of mine. After a few days of anticipating the delicious gravy over a bed of rice, meat and eggs, we finally made the trip. We got our food to go, so we didn’t see the gravy until we got home. The Loco Moco I’m used too(from other L&L’s) is dark and delicious. This gravy was light tan and sadly the flavor was just as bland as the color. The gravy’s what makes the Loco Moco soooo bomb. This was sooo disappointing. I will give this location another chance, but will definitely check the gravy before leaving.

Good food/good service done deal. Wish they told us that the cabbage was infused with the kalaui pork assuming it was a side

Good is great. Big portion for $ 7.98. I order the mini Bbq chicken with one scoop of rice and salad. I love the food, feels great after I finish the food. Best eat place for less price. I love the sesame dressing for their salad. I live across at the double tree hotel for business trip. I recommend call in to order 15 minutes before you arrive.

I got the short ribs and my boyfriend got the bbq combo plate. The meats were cooked perfect. The macaroni salad is just what you expect. I would give it 5 stars, but the guy working the counter doesn’t give a shit. Maybe he’s related and is forced to work Sunday’s for free and has to miss football? Not sure, but definitely doesn’t give a shit.

Over the years, I’ve been to more L&L than I care to admit in CA, NV, TX, WA and of course in HI. When I got here today, I was really excited to see an L&L so close to SEA airport. I actually went to phở for lunch, but went back to L&L as I had to go back to SEA airport to pick up 2 of my colleagues. Since I was there, it was just meant to be that I have to go. My 2 colleagues didn’t really care for it, but since I had the rental car, I made the executive decision that is where we’re dinning. As with most L&L, it’s just a basic self served café. I ordered my typical combo BBQ for $ 10.95 with the standard 2 scoop of rice, and1 scoop of mac. Order came out about 5min later. As I had ordered the combo, which is basically a teri beef, short ribs, and 2 chickens. The teri beef and chickens were fine, but the short ribs was very thick. Not sure why they can’t slice it to half of it as it was quite tough and chewy. Overall, this particular L&L seemed to use less sauce as the food was not as well marinated as some of the ones I had before. Or maybe it’s because I just had a late phở lunch like 3 hours prior that I wasn’t as hungry? Either way, it’s another 3 stars for me on this one. Not sure why, but lately, many of my reviews have been no more than 3 stars. The hunt continues for the next 4 or 5 stars restaurants. May have to try something else other than Asian food next time… or tomorrow before I leave Seattle.

I’ve never had L&L barbecue before, but it was surprisingly really good. I ordered the #11BBQ Beef and it was excellent. It cost $ 9.25 without tax and it came in two sizes, regular and mini. I got the regular which came with a huge portion of meat, two scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad. Very good but a little pricey. Would recommend overall.

Finally decided to check this place out after all the hype. Let’s just get straight to the food: I got the ramen burger special, which wasn’t on their menu but was on a couple posters around the place. They had to ask the chef if they could make it for me so I guess that explains why it’s a «special». We also got the katsu bowl I think. Food came out in styrofoam, to-go type containers. Not sure if that’s just the kind of thing they do but it didn’t bother me. Starting with the katsu bowl, it had steamed veggies on the side; broccoli, cauliflower, carrot. They were a little on the crunchy side to be fully steamed, plus kinda bland but it was just veggies so … The katsu and the sauce was bomb though. My stomach’s grumbling just thinking back to it. Now, the ramen burger was something I kept hearing was some kind of food genius’ revelation so the expectations were real high. Unfortunately the real thing fell flat. The noodles didn’t hold together well, it was bland except for the small glob of sauce right in the middle, and the amount of grease that came off it made me have to wash myself off before continuing. The fries that came with weren’t even worth remembering. TLDR: If you’re coming here for the ramen burger, go elsewhere or maybe go when they’re actually promoting it. But if you’re looking for some saucy, meaty good food, come here and order their katsu anything. Next time, spam musubi and saimin.

We lost ours in Billings Montana and that’s our loss. Come here when I have a seattle lay over. Good variety and some creative sandwiches. I try something different each time. This time the fried fish last time was a Portuguese sausage and egg sandwich

I had the mixed BBQ plate and it definitely hit the spot. The potato salad was much better than I expected. I don’t know if I inhaled the food or chewed it, but I’m more than satisfied. I had plans to do things today, now I’m ready to just lay it down. I’ll be back!

Conveniently close to the hotels, this L&L Hawaiian Barbecue was my first stop of the day after checking out. My meal was super satisfying! I had the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken plate, and it came with white rice and macaroni salad. It was filling and delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the macaroni salad was awesome. I definitely recommend this L&L Hawaiian Barbecue for lunch!

Great chicken Katsu! Didn’t want hotel food so drove down the road and saw this. The saiman was not to my liking but filled my belly!

We came up here because Saimin says was closed(this actually happens a lot wen we try to eat there), and we were craving Hawaiian comfort food, plus I heard lots of good things about L&L! I was excited to try it out. Service is great here. Nice and helpful people. The girls bathroom was locked so I got to use the boys bathroom(not really part of the review, I just wanted to share). I got the loco moco(part II of attempting to alleviate my hangover that day) and the servings are HUGE. The patties are big, thick, and good beefy taste which the gravy doesn’t mask over. I prefer the patties here over Saimin Says’ lil itty bitty patties. They give you a lot of rice. Usually I don’t like Mac salad but I ate all of mine. I have zero complaints about the loco moco. It was perfect; rice, burger patties, gravy, eggs… How could you go wrong. And it cured my hangover. My boyfriend got the seafood/meat combo. Came with 3 battered and fried butterfly skrimps, crispy fish, kahlua pork with cabbage, rice, Mac salad. His seafood was hot and perfectly cooked. The pork was dry; the only disappointment at this place. We fixed it using their condiment/sauce area but it was still a let down in my opinion. Hopefully is it not usually dry like that all the time. We’ll definitely give it another shot in the near future. Because of the dry pork, I would give it a 4 or 4.5 but I’ll be lenient. So… Why did I rate a 5 instead of 4 stars? I was craving a loco moco again, all day, the next day. That rarely happens. I think I’ve found a new Hawaiian joint to frequent.

It’s hawaiian, mainland style. That’s about the best way to sum up the food being served here. If you want Hawaiian that’s as authentic as the islands, fly to hawaii. Other than that, this is one of the better spots to get it. Two things we had here was the bbq and the khalua pork. Both entrées come with rice and macaroni salad. A staple in Hawaii since most of the people who live there eat rice with their dishes. The Khalua Pork was pretty good, I liked the texture and the flavor. It’ll probably never come close to how it tastes like in Hawaii because the salt used here in the mainland is different from there. Plus there are many different factors that isn’t really relevant at the moment. The bbq is really good as well. The sauce is very flavorful and goes great with rice. One of the more American tastebuds friendly in their arsenal of entrees. It seems as if this place just opened not too long ago, so everything is nice and brand new. From the booths, the tables, even the bathroom tiles are new and spotless. So yes, it’s really nice. If you’re looking for a meal that you can stop halfway and eat the rest for dinner, please do come here cause their meals are gigantic. Follow me on instagram @rodtorres3 Weeeeeeeeeee!

Need the Hawaiian food lovers, including myself, say more about this place? It is good for the selection of food they have. I always am fond of Kalua Pig. Well, they conveniently serve it in good portion. It is very close to my place, so I can easily stop by any time for the delectable meal. Plus, the restaurant is clean!

Five stars. Just for the sake that they sell the Ramen Burger here. I have been looking for this burger for quite sometime. I read about and even Googled it and posted a thread in the talk forum on Unilocal with not much direction in finding this burger in the Seattle area. But Steve was just poking around and found that one L&L Barbecue location did sell the burger and it was this location in Sea Tac. To be perfectly clear, not all locations sell it from our research, just this one for Seattle metro. As far as this being the only restaurant to serve Ramen Burgers in the Seattle area I honestly don’t know. When we got there we saw the sign for the burger and immediately said that we wanted two of those in a meal combo. The lady seemed hesitant to see if they had it which we would have probably screamed if she said«No» because we were that excited but they did have it so no screaming was needed. Ramen Burgers are pretty new here in the states but it is just like how it says. The bun of the burger is made of Ramen Noodle«cakes» for lack of a better word with a beef patty and the usual extras. The burger lived up to our anticipation and was amazing! The fries were good too! Just writing this review makes me want to go get another one now. Just as a word of slight caution. If you want to avoid a hesitant look and get told«no» it may be a good idea to call ahead and make sure they are not sold out.
