After eating a lot of fried food on Oregon’s north coast, this fresh Mexican menu was a welcome change. The enchilada sauce was yummy and the burrito was stuffed with freshly grilled seasonal veggies. The taco was wrapped in what seemed to be a homemade corn tortilla. Yum! We also arrived just before the lunch rush, so the wait wasn’t long and we got a table. We’ll definitely seek out this place on our next visit to Seaside.

Clean friendly and simple place. Food was ok but nothing outstanding or particularly«Mexican». It tasted good but nothing I couldn’t have made myself. We ordered the burrito enchilada style but it tasted like a lasagna with hot sauce. I would eat here again if stopping through seaside but would not eat here if it were in San Diego.

I really like this little place in Seaside. Being from San Diego, I’ve learned that different areas of the country have a different slant on Mexican. I’ve had a hard time finding a place I like because I have a specific idea of what it’s «sopposed» to taste like. The Stand is not tranditional mexican you’d find in San Diego, but it is good, quality food. The ingredients are fresh and they don’t skimp on the meat. Great little spot. Best Mexican place on the North Coast imo. Just wish they were open on weekends too!

The carne asada burrito was excellent. The meat was tender and the portion size was large. The ingredients all tasted super fresh. My wife ordered the bowl with pork and raved about it. The décor is simple and the wait was a bit long(I believe someone had called in) but our server was super friendly and apologetic.

I love this little place, it’s a great little place to run in and grab something fast that’s not fast food though if you know what I mean. The tacos are awesome and the fish and chips are amazing, I have lunch here several times while at a week long art show and was never disappointed.

Ok I will say the flavor of my Carne Asada taco was good but it was so fatty I could not even eat it. My corn tortilla was hard and fell apart when it tried to fold it. My husband had a chicken Colorado special there was nothing even remotely good about the Colorado sauce Sorry oregon I don’t think you know what good Mexican food is.

Wish I could give this place a couple extra, well deserved stars. First off, its conveniently located, close to our hotel, in a cute little building on the corner of 1st and Holladay. Walking in its clean and inviting. In the midst of our ordering we noticed the CASH or CHECKONLY sign and panicked. We rushed to find some cash and ended up $ 3 bucks short. The woman taking our order told us not to worry and to just bring it in next time. Which we will be coming back, for sure. We ordered the #6, carne asada taco and pork taco, and fish tacos for the 3 of us. All delicious, authentic and for a great price. Will be most definitely coming back for more!

My boyfriend and I both ordered the Carne Asada burrito, the flavor was awesome! The size was big and filling but not insanely large. The meat itself was kind of chewy. They don’t wrap the burrito how you would expect so it quickly falls apart and becomes a yummy mess of food. Would recommend and will come again!

Very good chili verde. Prices are reasonable. They don’t give you chips so if you buy guacamole you then better buy some chips. Good neighborhood hole in the wall type of place

We came based on reviews. Good food, and you can order a la cart, which is nice for those of us who don’t want a giant portion of beans and rice. I the beef recession taco and a vegetarian tamale. The taco was great, the tamale was just okay. My daughter loved her nachos. My husband ordered the spicy vegetarian burrito and didn’t care for it. He thought it was very bland.

My wife and I are huge mexican food fans and when we saw all the great reviews we decided to give this little hole in the wall a shot. Wish we hadn’t. Terrible. Should be called the«Stand up and leave while you still can» unfortunately. We started with some crappy tortilla chips(anything you buy at the grocery store would be better. They were warm though, so at least they did that right) and mediocre pico de gallo, which sadly turned out to be the highlight of our meal. When the rest came, the rice was mushy and overcooked, the beef was 50% chunks of fat and the beans were bland and odd tasting. My burrito was barely wrapped(fell apart immediately) and my wife’s quesadilla was just weird looking(Not flat, but like a poorly made taco). We choked down enough to satiate ourselves until our next meal, but ultimately felt like the $ 20 we spent was a complete waste of money.

Open weekdays only 11am to 5pm, cash only, limited seating, ok size menu, friendly staff. Got the large nachos with beef, black beans. Shredded beef had a good seasoning. The order was to go so that’s why in my picture it is in that container. I didn’t see if they had jalapenos as an option, if they did that would’ve been perfect on these nachos. They may not be the best Mexican food in Seaside but they are not the worst either in my opinion.

Filling and good . The bean and cheese burrito is a deal $ 3.50 The beef burrito has great flavor. The nachos are delicious with shredded beef. Service is quick and efficient. Lots of seating with big windows. That let in lots of light. Each table has to sauces in squeeze bottles The orange sauce is smokey and good Great place to visit after the Lewis and Clark statue

Just stopped here after visiting the seaside beach. We found the stand in Unilocal and are very glad we did. Looking at the outside we certainly would have driven right bye the place. WEAREGLADWELISTENEDTOTHE UnilocalREVIEWS. You order at the counter and the staff brings you the food. I had three recession tacos– 2 beef and 1 chicken. The flavor was spectacular! I also ordered chips and salsa. The salsa is obviously home made and very fresh. My significant other had a tostada salad and she was equally impressed with the freshness and taste. While waiting on our food another patron asked how we found the place and I mentioned we used Unilocal. He stated that the stand is a local hidden secret and my reply was not any more. This is a must stop place for any foodie wanting simple yummy cheap eats. I highly recommend the salsa.
