They have one of the best stouts that it’s been my pleasure to try, the Black Dynamite which is in fact black and is most definitely DYNAMITE! It pairs nicely with the awesome clam chowder. A+++ on the stout, here’s hoping they start distributing it outside of the pub soon!

I really wanted to like this place but the Fish and Chips were just ok the BBQ pork tacos were below par, meat, tortia and spicy cream sauce? Needed lime and cabbage with acid to cut the Blaaaaa that was the dish! Soup chower is it from a can? Rubber Clams anyone? Cheeseburger was a hockey puck in its former life. Come on guys this place should rock. By the way the open construction zone upstairs that was just left and not cleaned up on a Sun afternoon is lazy, 20 min to make it look professional.

Had a side of fries and clam chowder. The chowder was good but it did have a big hint of beer taste which I don’t like but my friend told me it’s the best chowder in Seaside so that’s what I ordered. It’s not that it wouldn’t have been good for someone that likes the taste of beer, it’s just not for me. The fries were delicious and so was the ranch. They were nice and crunchy. The waitress was great but when we asked her if the chowder had beer in it she said«no» even though it’s clearly listed on the menu that it does. She should probably know that. Otherwise she was great.

We ended up finding a table upstairs for the two of us, near the bar that no longer is really in use up there. My boyfriend got two samples of their beers and ended up requesting a pint of one. As our waitress got our drink order, we decided to go ahead and order food. The appetizer arrived at our table, but my boyfriends beer still haven’t arrived at that point. It took about 10 more minutes for our waitress to get our beer to the table. When the food arrived shortly afterwards, both burgers were good. We did request some mayonnaise but that never arrived. We didn’t have any silverware or napkins at our table, I had to get up and find some for us. Our waitress never came by to check-in on us, she didn’t wasn’t too busy, since she was just about 5 – 8 feet away at the bar talking with a couple the entire time we ate. When we did finish up, my boyfriend did want another beer, and she still haven’t been by to check-in. The one and only person who did come check up on us towards the end was a nice gentleman who I saw cleaning up tables/setting up tables, refilling waters, etc(more than just a bus person). He came over refilled our waters and asked if my other half, if he would like another beer. Before we left, we gave the nice gentleman a tip and I thanked him for checking in on us since our waitress never did. I hope he was able to keep the tip that I handed him, I know he spoke to, what I’m guessing, the manager after I told him thank you. Again, the food was pretty good, but the service was pretty hit and miss. Loved the guy who came and checked up on us. He was very polite and had a smile on his face, I never got his name, but he was the only thing that saved us from not ever returning again. We will be back sometime, but not soon.

Great location and cool interior. Service can be hit or miss(welcome to the effin’ coast!!) Awesome chips and salsa. Pork tacos are so huge and filling. Chowder had waaaaaaaay too much of a beer flavour to it for my liking. It really detracted from the other flavours. Pizza was really good. Prices are in line for the quality. Not too shabby. Nice patio and fire pit if you want to sit with hipsters and their yappy little dogs that they can’t seem to leave at home. Will they ever find a cure for them???

It can get busy at times. Down stairs or up stairs, your choice. Both have outside patios. House IPA was tapped out. Settled for Fort George. Wife had red ale. Not too shabby. My second was«Black Dynamite». A stout with vanilla added in brewing process. It was very good. Wife had shredded pork street tacos. Huge amount and very filling.(Note: Staff… maybe some hot sauce could help with bland flavour !) I loved my fish and chips. They were fillets instead of chunks. The hamburger my son had was as big as his head. Within minutes, he ate the whole thing. For my girls, clam chowder. They could barely finish. For all this, around $ 65 for a family of 5.

I appreciate that they use quality ingredients here here(the only reason for 3 stars rather than 2), but I was not impressed with the overall results of my cheeseburger. The fries were also cold, and after taking our order, our server seemed to forget about us until she brought our food, after which she disappeared again. Mediocre food and bad service.

Driving up the coast and needed a place to hold up until check in. Wife and I got the Dynamite Stout. Great finish and not too heavy. It goes down smooth so watch out at 11.5%. Nice place. We sat upstairs on the patio. We had an good view and it was nice out. We didn’t try the food.

Still an amazing place. I am saddened that they took the chili off the menu it was the best chilli I have had in a long long time. The French fries this time around seemed a little soggy and could have been cooked In a hotter vat of oil. The clam chowder is still the best on the Oregon coast by far.

Here for lunch but beer isn’t that good, fish not that fresh, fries not hot. When asked how we liked our food we said some fries were cold there was no response. Fun atmosphere but if the food and beer aren’t good what’s the point.

It had outdoor seating which was great but if you have allergies, they allow dogs on the patio. Food is okay. Oyster shooters had sand in it and smaller than other restaurants in Seaside. Their carnitas tacos were good and chipotle sauce was smoky with a hint of spice. Beer was good though. Service could be better. I don’t think our server wanted to be there.

I liked the outside of the place so we chose to eat here. My husband got the Hawaiian burger & I got the Guac burger! It was juicy & very tasty! The servers were very nice & very attentive! Coming here again!

Great beers, awesome food and good service! We sampled all of their house beers and were not disappointed with any if them. The Black Dynamite and Stormcrow Stouts were our favorite but we are stout lovers. Also got the nachos, which we shared and it was enough for a light meal. Highly recommend you stop in for a pint.

Checking another one off the trail, we’re visiting all the Brewers on the Oregon’s North coast craft beer list. Tonight’s beer was Hammer Weisen, it’s a Dunkleweisen, a dark German beer. It was delicious. We also had the nachos, the pork on it had a nice smokey taste. Our server was Tom, he suggested the Hammer Weisen, he had a great personality and made our visit very enjoyable.

Can’t complain at all about this spot. It’s above average pub food with great beer. First off we had dinner on a Monday evening about 5:45. Seating was seat yourself and after picking our spot the staff was spot on with menus. We chose a couple beers and boy were they good. I had the red ale and my wife the honey badger blonde. Both excellent brews. For food I chose the Hawaiian burger with a veggie patty and wife chose the BBQ burger with chicken. Both burgers were outstanding. Tons of flavor cooked perfectly and tasty fries to accompany them. After a second round of beers we called it a day. Service was prompt and attentive. Restaurant wasn’t crowed but a decent amount of people in there. TVs showing sports and the music in the background wasn’t too loud. We ended up here because our first choice was closed but we are glad we did. Would definitely come back.

We had dinner here over the weekend and it was really good. The tacos were good, the oyster shooters were good, the fries were good, the beer was good. AND, the customer service was on point. Our gal was friendly and funny. We sat on the lower deck outside because we had our dog, and the atmosphere was nice. Clean and spacious. We did wait about 30 mins for our table but that’s not bad considering a sunny, Sunday night. We will definitely be back!

I think I came expecting too much… Atmosphere: The place has a lot of potential if they embraced their brew house identity. It’s a cool building that apparently used to be a jail. They can do some cool stuff with that! Inside is just kinda«blah» but their outside patio is really with string lights and a gas fire pit. Service: Looks like they run a pretty tight ship with minimal staff. They guy who seated us was also our server and was the only other employee I saw beside a guy behind the bar. It got pretty busy too around 5:30 on a Friday and he kept up well. Food & Beer: The food was nothing to write home about. It wasn’t bad, just very… normal? I guess that’s standard for breweries, so I’m probably spoiled by Portland breweries putting more effort in making good food. The beer was surprisingly good though! Overall, great place to go for a beer and sit outside on a nice day. I’d grab dinner somewhere else though.

Where to start with this one? I headed out in search of food with the boyfriend in tow and found out due to it being off season our restaurant of choice was actually closed that night. That’s ok though, there is a place nearby that is open and is a brewery. Awesome! I love beer. The outside looks promising but please, do not let that trick you. To the point, the food is bad. I hate to be that blunt. You can walk past other people’s food and know it will be mediocre at best. You know when people tell you that they saw someone’s dinner choice and had to try it? They had the opposite thing going on here. We got clam chowder and pizza. Unilocalers recommended the clam chowder and the waiter told us pizza. I already had an impending sense of doom and just sort of gave into it because I would have felt bad to order beers and then run. Low blood sugar and decision making… Stop eating that clam chowder. Just. Stop it. It was mealy, people. That means that they made it wrong and the cream separated. That is a bad thing. That is not flavor. Put the spoon down! The pizza was magically terrible. The BF can eat any pizza except this one. He already knew he’d made a mistake when he cut it and saw the cheese. Nope. Nope very, very bad. I actually find it funny he finally ate something so bad he couldn’t eat it past the relieving of hunger pains. Welcome to my world! We may or may not have left it on a trash can lid because we were /still/too worried about hurting feelings to say we are not taking the ‘leftovers’ because it sucked. So we kind of sucked too. I am excited to report I have a new worst pizza location. This one. The worst part? As if the food couldn’t be topped? It cost $ 60+ for terrible Hawaiian pizza, clam chowder and 3 beers. Ouch. The few good notes to prove I’m not hating just to hate. The beers were pretty good. I’d probably drink that IPA again. The bread served with the soup and the crust untouched by the unholy sauce/cheese was yummy. I think they make it with their own beer. They were very family friendly. I do not have children, so I do not care, but for those of you exhausted after a day on the beach and want a beer– you can get one here and feed the kids cheese noodles or something. Just don’t eat anything yourself.

Decided to try the brewing company while stay over the spring break week. It was interesting building to look at so I was excited to try. I entered and waited in the front area for five minutes with no acknowledgment. At this point I though I was wrong and the hostess was somewhere else, so I started wandering around the restaurant. I ended up in the kitchen and still not even a get out from any of the staff. At 20 minutes of being there I stepped in front of one of the waitresses who sighed at me and asked about seating. There were tables open right then. Confused on why we were just allowed to stand in the front of that was the case I sat down with my lady friend in a corner table. We were given menus but nothing else. After sitting for in the dark dank corner for 20 minutes we decided to leave. As we were walking out the bar tender finally was walking over with water. I will never even drink a beer from this company anywhere. I don’t think they deserve to be in business with that kind of service and rudeness. I will keep telling this story in hopes of getting enough people in boycott of this business to shut them down. The building is far to historically interesting to be wasted with that disgusting excuse for a restaurant and pub.

Nice rainy day spot. I loved the historic building, as it made for an amazing atmosphere. This place used to be a jail. The beer is poured out of an old drunk tank! Good service. We only tried the beer, no food. The beer was mediocre at best. Good place for this town, just not amazing.
