BE WARNED!
I called John’s Gardening to request a quote for sodding my back yard. After telling him that I live in a military community I could sense his hesitation before he told me he «was really busy for the next three weeks and didn’t think he would have time.»
I challenged him… and caught him in a lie. He wasn’t too busy for the next three weeks, he simply didn’t want to do business with someone in my community. Not quite sure why though, maybe because he thinks that military are poor and he’s too high end, or maybe he just doesn’t like the military. Either way it certainly unveils his character in quite a negative light.
I can’t imagine any establishment in America that refuses the opportunity to make money based on some false preconceived notion about the client. Hoping this serves as a warning to think twice before doing business with this dishonest man.
