Burger King

Recently came here and my order was taken with ease. No hassle. Waited about 3 min and I got my order. Everything tasted hot and fresh.
As I was sitting at the table I looked around and the restaurant was pretty clean compared to others. Used the restroom and it was clean as well. Nothing I could have complained about.

Horrible Service. Every time I get one of the managers ringing me up it is great. They know how to help. The other employees don’t take their lead.

It’s crazy. I’m standing here watching the manager hold a meeting with 2 employees in back while my food sits there waiting for someone to put it in a bag for me. There was no one in line before or after me and there’s on customer seated. I’ve said excuse me three times — last time I got a finger up to hold on. So sorry to bother them. It won’t happen again.

Not for breakfast. No thank you.
I’ve eaten here twice in the past month when I needed a quick breakfast on the way to work. The first time, the hashbrowns were cold. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went again. The second time, both the hashbrowns and the sandwich were cold. What’s the deal? I won’t be back. Dozens of other places in town. Sorry, Burger King. You won’t win market share with that kind of quality control.

I don’t know how in the world this restaurant has as many stars as it does. We went through the drive-​thru, and it was the WORSE experience I have EVER had with any fast food drive-​thru! The lady taking our order could have cared less what we said. We ordered three hamburgers; one without lettuce, two without pickles, and tomatoes. We also replaced fries for onion rings. Lo and behold when we got home, what was on our hamburgers?! Lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes! ALONG WITH NO ONION RINGS! Horrible customer service when I called, the man who answered the phone told me I could come back, and they would «fix my order,» why would I want to go back after I had gotten home??? I would NOT recommend eating here due to the piss poor service we received.

Ordered chicken nuggets once… one of them had a bite taken out of it. Gross.

Wouldn’t have even bothered writing this review if it hadn’t been for one thing.
My husband and I got dinner from here tonight vie the drive thru. We were waiting at the window for longer than usual and were wondering what was up with our order. The manager came to the window to tell us that the onion rings they had were in her opinion not good enough to serve so they were making a fresh batch. I was shocked because at most places they would have wrapped them, packed them and sent them out but not here!
Kudos to this place!

Jack Tanner! Is this a government run soup kitchen? I go in here about eight times a day give or take, and wammo all I ever see is homeless chaps using the free wifi and swilling the olé bubble juice. Don’t they know the salvation army is just blocks away?
Love the staff and whatnot.

Double check your order when you get it. They got my order wrong and had to remake it. They were nice though and remade it very fast.

Only writing about this because I hear it’s now closed. Sure, it’s fast food, but it also was literally the closest non-​campus food spot to student housing: this, and the gas station across the street. Not the coolest place to go, but it was within walking distance. For a nondriver like me, um, that kind of matters.

Ok so I can’t give a crappy Unilocal because I’m the moron trying fast food off the Gluten Sensitive Menu with a wheat allergy… I am educated about food contamination and have read a lot on wheat allergies so I don’t expect anyone to be responsible for how I feel besides myself.
So anywho, I ordered a side of small fries because I remember seeing a sign at the one closer to my house before it was demolished this past week which read something about «New Fries»… new recipe or something…
I also ordered the TENDERGRILL®Chicken Breast File and they asked if I wanted it cut up. I said, «Yes, please» and then mumbled, «please don’t use the same knife that you used to cut up a burger with a bun… I’m allergic to wheat». I honestly couldn’t care less if he heard me or not because I didn’t expect him to truly listen to me or care. I just had to say it. So I expected beautifully sliced (think sashimi lined up on a pretty tray) chicken breast but I got what looked like it was torn up or cut with a plastic butter knife since the edges were so frayed and they were cut into little square shapes. It didn’t matter it was actually really f-​ing good… for BK that is. Soft, tender, well seasoned but not too salty nor oily… I dipped most of the little pieces in the tub of ranch (gluten free but has MSG which I have a slight allergy to as well).
The guy on the drive-​thru intercom kind of seemed half-​assed but the lady at the window was super courteous, professional and very pretty.
I don’t like their «new» fries at all. They just seem a little thicker but their old ones almost had an extra skin of flavor on them. I’m just sayin’…
BK POSITIVE STEPS ®GLUTEN-​SENSITIVE LIST is a great step and I’m so grateful… however it won’t work on someone who is very sensitive to gluten.
*** I think the culprit were the fries and not the chicken since in fine print it says that the fries may be fried with food containing gluten.

Greasy and inedible – yet the service is terrible!
The last time we went, we had finished shopping at Target and were hungry. I suggested In-​N-​Out Burger, but my wife said it was too far. So, we went to Burger King. After we gagged down as much of their garbage we could stand, she told me that if she EVER suggested Burger King again, I should ignore her and drive straight to In-​N-​Out Burger.
