Vanilla iced coffee or hazelnut espresso are amazing! Come here to study often and am never disappointed. The baristas are fun too. Great place to have a cup of coffee and get work done.

It was getting late but we had a long drive home… opted for my go-to for this chain being the Mexican Hot Chocolate. Yum! I just cannot have coffee in the evening as I will be up all night. Also ordered was hubby’s Americano coffee. He loves it so much here that he can almost have it without cream. Almost. Perfect for him. I note that at every location I have to ask for the hot chocolate to be heated up a bit more after receiving it at the counter but that is my personal taste. I do not want to be able to guzzle a hot cocoa. Service was alright, nothing over the top. No line up either on this busy Main St which was a plus. Prices average, I think cheaper than Starbucks. And better, in our opinion.

Best coffee place! I always get the Scottish breakfast latte during the winter and ice coffee during the summer! A great place to go while you walk to the beach or you could hang out in the patio area.

I don’t like to write negative reviews but… Unfortunately the customer service my husband and I received here was extremely sub par for coffee bean and tea leaf standards and it is my opinion that the barista Lindsay from store 14 in Seal Beach should be written up in how she dealt with what could have been an easy fix. I sent my husband(who does not drink coffee) in to order me a drink. He came back with something really sweet that would probably send a diabetic in shock, but he tried, so I went back in to see if I could exchange my order. Immediately I was greeted with a hostile and verbally aggressive tone. I explained that my husband doesn’t usually order for me and he just got it too sweet. Lindsay persistently demanded if «that was just the guy who was here» over and over and that he was«asking too many questions.» In my nicest tone I explained simply that it is ok to ask questions. At this point her coworkers were staring at her like she was about to have a breakdown. It’s sad that people aren’t just nicer and try to help others out– there was no reason for Lindsay’s unprofessional behavior and at the very least she should have offered me a refund.

For a very long time Coffee Bean was nothing more than an urban myth to me. I had heard about it but I had never experienced it for myself. Admittedly I have been on the Starbucks bandwagon for a long time. But upon a series of events I found myself on the main street in Seal Beach and I was having my usual coffee craving. Some bite their nails, some grind their teeth, some succumb to their crippling coffee addictions. I wasn’t very familiar with coffee bean, the only thing I really knew about them was that they have the original ice blended drinks. Time was running out and there was not a Starbucks in sight. My cravings were only intensifying and I had to do something. As soon as I walked into Coffee Bean I had a positive feeling. They have a very cozy vibe, it doesn’t feel corporate. I ordered the dark chocolate ice blended. I decided that since I was trying a new coffee joint I might as well order the most popular item. The service had a warm vibe to match the atmosphere. I had an overall great experience and will definitely be returning in the future.

Mmm. nothing better than walking along the beach during the early morning with a cup of coffee in hand. And luckily! There just so happens to be one right at the entrance of Seal Beach’s grand Main St. There are a few other coffee shops scattered up and down the street, but I’m familiar with CB&TL, that I usually come here if I’m going to do some beach yoga, or just meditate with the ocean. It’s simple, easy to get to, and the baristas are usually upbeat and perky in the AM! I’d rather experience a pleasant barista at 6:30 than a grouch who will end up setting me up for a «not as pleasant as it could’ve been…» type of day. The service is usually quick, unless it’s a busy day, in which case, expect delays of about 10 minutes or so. This particular location is one of the SMALLESTCB&TL’s I’ve been too. I wasn’t completely shocked as it does share building space with 3 or 4 other businesses. Including the very delicious Sweet Land Italian Ice! Parking is extremely limited due to this and the fitness studio on the end has 4 or the maybe 12 parking spots marked with signs stating for their customers only. Ridiculous considering they are almost always empty(the spaces)! You can opt to park somewhere along Main St, in a metered space :/but that’s really hectic as well depending on the day and time you’re there. With it being small, limited seating applies. Maybe 3 or 4 small tables that fit 2 – 3 people MAX! If you’re claustrophobic, avoid this place when it’s busy. Atmosphere is relaxed, normal coffee shop vibe. It’d be nice to kick back and relax here, but there’s no chance with the space limitations. The coffees and teas are all pleasant. I enjoy the hot Chai tea, or an Americano usually. I’ve come during the summer and their passion fruit tea is delightful! Someone compared it to the passion tea lemonade at Starbucks. soo not even the same drink! Not even the same flavor or ingredients. their pastries I have not tried, but their bagels are always soft and fresh. Plus, they’ll warm it up for you, so should you wish. I appreciate that because I’m not a fan of cold cream cheese going on a room temp bagel. So warm bagel for the win! My drinks are always made exactly how I ask, and yes I order complex drinks(judge me), because I just know what I like. They make a good macchiato too. I’ve had a few things that I didn’t enjoy from here, but they weren’t on the menu the last few times so I’m not sure of they were limited/seasonal type drinks or a test for new ideas, I dunno. 4 stars for good drinks, awesome friendly baristas, and a great location. Minus 1 star for the parking issues and being so itty bitty.

Going to Coffee Bean is always such a treat considering how few there are in northern california. This one was great, really clean with a nice staff. My friend and I each got 2 drinks(judge me) and both were great!

One of the smallest CB&TL’s I have ever been to, but one of my favorites. Located at the beginning or the end(however you want to see it) of Main Street &PCH. I have not made it over to Coffee Bean the last few times we were in Seal Beach. I think I may have overdosed on pizza and ice cream, making coffee or smoothies out of the question. Nevertheless, this location is a great place to catch your breath after inhaling some ocean air, being surrounded by flocks of locals/visitors and soaking in some rays or surf. If you’re in the mood for(way better than Starbucks) coffee and pastries head over here and get your cup of joe on!

As coffee shops go this place is worth a visit. Lots of competition on Main Street but few spots to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather while sipping coffee or tea. They have a new pear frozen drink that is really delicious for those hot nights when frozen yogurt is just too sweet to eat. Staff is always super nice which is a nice change from lots of places. Outside seating has me.

It is a normal coffee bean. Parking is limited to a lot that shares spaces with other businesses. It’s a smaller sized coffee bean. Some chairs and tables. It has food and I like their ice here. The service has always been good.

I usually won’t go out of my way to go to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf(I’m a Starbucks fanboy), but when you are a Sailor away from home with no car, no coffee and no wifi… well, you come to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf! Right off of Main Street and PCH, it’s in a great location and within walking distance of the liberty gate at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. I had a cup of coffee, used up some wifi and relaxed for a little bit. Good way to start a night of walking around Main Street and Seal Beach! Good customer service, coffee tasted great! Definitely will be back!

FRIENDLIESTSTAFFEVER! …and I’m not even limiting that to just Coffee Bean, but FRIENDLIESTSTAFFOVERALL. They’re all very helpful, and are always able to be personable and carry conversations while also tending to other customers without causing a delay in order flow. They give great suggestions and are always willing to make drink modifications without a hint of disgruntle. I live in Long Beach and always go out of my way to swing by this particular branch when in need of my CB&T fix!

The baristas that work at the Seal Beach CBTL are sweethearts and super-friendly. I frequent this CBTL for the hometown vibe, hospitality and good coffee drinks quite a bit. It is a pleasure visiting this CBTL. You always receive a smile, a friendly greeting and good cheer from the crew here. The friendly crew keeps me a return customer, as does the reason that this CBTL makes the best iced Americanos. I hate the ironic hipster, who comes at me with a snarky remark when they are making my coffee. You know the type, they wear the flannel shirts, handlebar mustache and wooden earring that stretches their ear lobe. Who needs all that attitude with their coffee? Not me. Gimme my coffee with good cheer and I am all good.

So anyone who knows me knows I don’t drink coffee so WTH was I doing here you may wonder… Well I was having tea while on a date just hanging out and watching the evening roll by. It was a good way to end a post dinner stroll through Seal Beach. I ended up getting a Hot Chai Tea. The service was acceptable, sorry baristas you shouldn’t be so grouchy, but not good. For some reason only one barista was working when I ordered. He was easily flustered it seemed like. None the less I received my piping hot tea after a few minutes(weird since no one was behind us and I got my drink first). So I cruised over to the coffee condiment table and saw liquid sugar. The liquid sugar was the perfect way to blend the sugar into my tea. Yeah I like it a bit sweet. So we then proceeded to walk out the front and watch the world go by as we enjoyed our beverages. +1 since another barista showed up, came outside and cleaned the tables off, lined up the chairs, and asked if she could get us anything. That extra effort bumped it up a star for me. It was rather average or below average until then. Consequently, if you are ever in need of a spot to chill in Seal Beach, this is not a bad option.
