Slice of New York Pizza

We ordered two large pizzaa here. We brought two infants with strollers and the employee asked us to move. I wanted to cancel and leave but we already paid. Not baby friendly.

Kind of dingy looking, but the food here is Bomb! The pizza is really good, but I recommend the calzones. Good lunch specials.

I’ve tried lots of pizza places looking to find the best and so far this one is at the tippy top of my list. The Manhattan Pizza (meatball slices with pepperoni) is my favorite. Thing crust, light sauce, lots of cheese, absolutely perfect.
Location: Seal Beach main street is nice. Lots of stores and restaurants. Jill’s Bakery across the street from this pizza place has amazing red velvet cupcakes if you want dessert.
Interior: SMALL but comfortable. Just an fyi. It only has like 3 booths available. Very comfortable but not a place to go if you have a lot of people in your party – 4 is probably the max.
Service: dudes working there are chill and friendly. Service is quick.
Food: umm awesome as hell. I suggest the Manhattan Pizza (slices of meatball and pepperoni w/​tomato sauce). My mom & brother really enjoy the Bianca (white sauce, drizzle of ricotta cheese on top)
¹⁰⁄₁₀ would come back. Sucks its far from where I live but always worth the drive.

To me, the best legit NY style thin crust pizza in North Orange County for sure!!! And one of the best kept secrets. Located in a beautiful beach community full of local shops, about 200 feet from the shore. Super hidden. About 5 doors down from a espresso shop and next to a Psychic reader. Easy to miss. This is one of a handful of pizza/​Italian places in the area. Definitely the best choice.
Order slices at the counter from a variety of pies. They put it back into the oven, warm it, crisp it and deliver it to your table. Or order your own pizza. Ingredients are all super fresh. Crust folds perfectly in your hand, and has a little crisp at the top. Tons of condiments at the tables to dress up your slices.
Now before you get excited. Let me warn you. The parking sucks. There is plenty of free street parking, just not when you are looking for some. Try parking off Main St. Lots of crazy laws in the area too.
This place is super tiny with Super super limited seating. Maybe 4 booths and 3 high tables. Not exactly good for crowds. Finally, no bathrooms. At least I didn’t see any. But none of this should scare you away.
Service here is super friendly. Prices are average. About $ 7.50 for 2 slices and a drink. We ended up ordering 6 slices total. Probably better off ordering an entire pizza.
Afterwards take a stroll around main street to the wooden pier. You won’t be disappointed.

Just like the cheese pizza in NY or very close to it. I always tell them to reheat and make it extra crispy. Never fails to satisfy.

This is the best pizza in Seal Beach hands down. I’ve been coming here for years.
There is a good selection of pizzas to choose from. One of my favorites is the Margherita pizza. It’s so simple but so delicious. The prices are pretty good too. You can order 2 slices and a drink for about $ 5. And the slices of pizza are big. I usually can only eat just one, unless I’m super hungry.
It’s a pay at the counter place but there are booths and high tables that you can sit at. There are also benches outside if you prefer to do that. I think it’s always pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the weather while I eat my food.
The inside décor of this place is really cool. It has lots of New York themed baseball memorabilia.
I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for some great pizza at a reasonable price.

First time here:
From the first moment you step toward the display of pizzas, the pizzas look a wee bit dry but we took a chance anyhow. Turns out, we were right. Not a comeback spot.

First of all, I’ve always loved this place. It has to be one of the best slices of thin crust pizza I’ve ever had with great topping. The pesto artichoke is yummy. It’s not the cheapest but their 2 slice and soda combo is reasonable, especially for a beach side joint.
Beside the food, the service is also excellent and tonight was no exception. My husband, my toddler and I stopped in for a slice. Of course like most toddlers my son accidentally dropped his plate. Luckily, I dish out small portions so too much is never lost. However, an employee notice unbeknownst to us and walked over with a replacement slice. He even cut it up for him. I was so impressed.

Delicious. Authentic NY style pizza near the beach! Thin crust with that chewy, doughy texture that I love and crispy crust edges. Typical pizzeria style shop with a great location on Main St. Small shop with amazing aroma.
Staff had their hands full. The front of house server was delivering food to tables, taking walk in orders and taking phone orders. He did it all with a smile though and has great hair! Lol!
We got as far as the park bench out front and demolished the pizza! Went back for 2 more slices for take-​home. (tried cheese and pepperoni)
The slices are not huge but still, good value. Quality ingredients and fresh dough. Will be back. Adore Seal Beach and this is 1 more reason to love it!

One of the best pizzas I have tried. Great thin crust. I recommend the pepperoni and sausage. Whenever you go on a trip to the beach you should stop here and grab a slice! My only complaint is that the sausage was discolored and seemed old.

Great NY style pizza here! Yes, I have had REAL NY pizza before so believe me when I say that this place is pretty legit for Cali! I could get fat here… Scary fat.
Plenty of pizza options, ready quick, light and airy crust with the crispiness you would expect. Ingredients are just enough and never overwhelming. All flavor without the pools of grease, and quick, friendly and helpful service!
I would recommend either coming during the week or early to avoid the crowds and increase the likelihood that you’ll find seating. This place is a tight squeeze so I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for a party bigger than at least 4 people max. Parking is a bust too so all the more reason to avoid busy times or order pick up.

The White Pie is delicious! We grab a box to go every time we’re nearby. It’s barely warm by the time we get home, but still delicious! It’s the kind of pizza I like, simple and delicious. Ricotta, garlic, parmesan and mozzarella. The Manhattan is my sister’s favorite, which is more meaty. Comes with meatballs, sausage and pepperoni. Also a very tasty pizza, but I’ll always love the White Pie! My only complaint is the crust isn’t as great as the rest of the pizza, but that keeps me from eating it and getting full soon and it also keeps my dogs happy since they get the crust!

New York heaven in Seal Beach!
We had a wondrous trip to NYC during the epic blizzard of 2012. Snowed in, Mayor Bloomberg getting reamed for the poor snowplow response, lots of drama. We were staying in Battery Park and took the familia out in the mess– I mean the most spectacular scene one could hope for! Snow everywhere, only a few idiots trying to drive unsuccessfully in the unplowed streets
Cold and hungry, we found a «slice» pizzeria. Was it the cold, our hunger? Nope. Just the BEST pizza ever. We checked it out again when not so cold nor hungry, then we took a whole pie with is on the subway, through TSA, and onto the plane. We cried tears of joy as we ate it, and bitter tears when we finished it.
Why the long prologue? Because the very same pizza, and other quality pizzas, are here in Seal Beach! Every time we go here we are blown away by the variety of pies, and all of them transport us back to the bar-​setting pies of Battery Park.
We are SOOO happy to enjoy New York without the snowplow drama!

When ordering BTS (by the slice), Slice of New York rocks. go simple and chow down on a plain cheese. When they reheat in the oven, this slice is a godsend. Reminds me of the good olé days chillin in the bx.

I’ve never had the opportunity to visit New York, but when I think «New York pizza», there’s a certain expectation, a wood-​fired oven, men tossing pizza dough, crude language and fast service. «Slice of New York Pizza» in Seal Beach meets all of these expectations (except the crude language). The restaurant itself is rather small inside, only 3 booths and 2 small tables. The walls are filled with NY sports memorabilia and a high mounted TV. We were fortunate a booth became available as my wife, daughter and I walked in.
You can choose from a dozen varieties of pie slices from the glass display case. The pies are baked once before they are placed in the case. Then after choosing your slices they are baked a second time so it produces a light crispy slice. Each of us ordered the daily special of 2 slices with a drink for $ 6.45 plus a few extra slices. The thin crust pizza really hit the spot. The crust was crisp along its edge yet soft enough to be folded in half to eat. It definitely satisfied our pizza craving and filled our tummies, all at a reasonable cost. We then walked a ½ block down Main Street to the Seal Beach Pier to enjoy the view and the breeze.

After an afternoon of swimming, boogy boarding and plain fun in the sun, my boy’s and I always make it a habit of ending our beach day by paying a visit to A Slice Of New York Pizza and basking in a great meal of delicious, perfectly thin and crispy New York Style Pizza.
Located in the heart of Seal Beach on Main Street this cute yet small restaurants overflows with New York Memorabilia throughout. Limited seating inside but you can always get it to go and enjoy your meal at the beach. For about $ 6.75 you get to choose from two slices of pizza and a drink, which is not a bad deal and you have a variety of options to choose from.
All the pizza’s are perfectly cooked with just the perfect amount of cheese and toppings and the sauce has a great flavor to it. Each bite is delicious and crispy just like what you expect to find in New York. My kids swear it’s the best pizza in the world. So yes my kids approve. They also have calzones, although I have not yet had the opportunity to taste one as we strictly go for the pizza.
From the classic cheese, yes my favorite, simple but delicious to many, many more options your are sure to find a pizza you will love…

While visiting Main St. In Seal Beach, I stopped by for lunch. This place got some good reviews so I thought I try it out. They have a lunch special with 2slices and a drink for only $ 6.45 and for a couple extra bucks, I added a 3^rd slice.
The pizza was fantastic and the service was gas t and courteous. I would definitely go back again.

Quite tasty and just the right crisp saltiness and cheesyness. If you are a New York lover you will appreciate the wallful of Yankeeness, Giants, DiMaggio, Mets and Jets memorabilia. Good good pizza. Your fingers are not left with too much oil but your lips will crave for more!
I ended up buying another round of Cheese pizza. Simple but plain … Well. very good.
