Seaford Eagle Diner

It was well worth my time. The salad bar was fresh the meal was plentiful. The place was clean and the meal was homemade chicken and dumplings all you can eat. The menu had much to offer. My menu was even spotlessly clean. My experience was pleasent

My wife and myself go in frequently and always enjoy the food and atmosphere. One of the servers there was awesome on our first time in. She was flying through the diner like an athlete of sorts (literally) she handled a table section of the diner, that must have seated forty people or so with super cool ease. I now know her to b Jamie, and seriously she rocks. I have never seen her write down any order but i guarantee its right. In general the food is good, the staff is great and definetly priced right .The breakfast bar is really good. Not a highend establishment, really kind of retro and tired but don’t let that stop you, its a diamond in the rough. We highly recommend the Seaford Eagle Diner

Located next to our hotel, the food was very good we got a 10% discount on our check for been at the hotel.
Food was ordered and in no time we were eating.
A little bit old fashion but the food was great. The salad bar is very simple but very fresh.
Make sure to ask to be seated in the back if you’re going with a group.

breakfast is good, cheap, people are friendly might look like a dump on the outside but this is one of them places dont judge a book by its cover time for some breakfast !!!

At first sight my boyfriend did not want to go in because it looks old on the outside and the inside does too don’t judge a book by its cover! however this place was awesome I got the cheeseburger with Swiss fries and a trip to the salad bar! So cheap and good thanks for recommendation Unilocalers!

Hotdog hogie which included a cup of soup and fries it was very good. This is the second time I’ve had breakfast here last time was home fries and eggs with scrapple which was good so today it’s going to be hash browns which looks good.

If you’re looking for an experience, this is the place for you! I don’t like writing negative reviews, but I think I have a responsibility to correct this place’s rating. I travel a lot and use Unilocal to find local places with good reviews. This place has five stars… I don’t see how. The server was friendly but had no clue about the menu or even how to pronounce menu items (she incorrectly corrected my pronunciation of gyro). I had the gyro and chicken barley soup. It was very good (only reason for 2 stars). The person I was with had a special for the day – prime rib. This was a huge letdown for him. He wanted the rarest piece. What came looked like it was bag boiled or microwaved with a gray hue and little to no pink. The broccoli he ordered was cooked to a pale brown hue. He commented that he wasn’t sure if the meat was spiced funny or had turned – he paid for it all night he told me.

Thanks for the recommendation, Unilocal.I’d have never found this place. A bunch of us were out hiking the state parks nearby and this place fit the bill perfectly after many miles under our belts. We all raved about how great our meals were and the prices were fantastic. Only wish this was closer to home! Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Great diner! Would have been 5 stars but they messed up my order & put hot peppers on it, making it mostly inedible to me… BUT the burn was almost worth it! May have been the best cheesesteak I almost ever had. Will try again, next time we are near! :-)

I went here because it was right beside my hotel — and they gave a 10% discount for hotel guests.
Arrived about 8:50 and was promptly greeted by the server. At this time of the night they were about ½ full. Ordered the chicken parmigiana with a side of spaghetti and a trip to the salad bar.
More than ample portion of food was ready with minimal wait. Good flavor and I shouldn’t have — but I ate the whole thing!
Server was very conversational with all that were in the diner. Facility was clean.

Very friendly staff, huge portions of food — I had a hoagie and could only eat half. Right off of 13 so we didn’t have to go out of our way for good food and a classic diner feel.

We stopped in at 9pm for a quick «breakfast for dinner» and found ourselves enjoying everything from crab cakes to pancakes. I’ve lived on the coast my whole life and I will tell you their crab cakes are definitely in my top 2, They were fantastic. The crab stuffed flounder was also wonderful as were the breakfast items. The cabbage was just like Grandma’s.
Also, this is a true family owned establishment. The wife served us, the husband cooked, and their children were in the restaurant as well helping with dishes and other stuff. We love to spend our money in places like this.

Best little diner in Seaford. Traditional counter and booth service. Good, hearty food, with generous portions serves by a delightful staff.

Absolutely great diner food for the price. A filling breakfast for 3 people cost under twenty dollars. I would definitely go back. If you like diners then this is a great stop.

This place is extremely clean, friendly staff, and good food.
My eggs were perfectly cooked, pancakes light and fluffy, and the meats were cooked just the way we asked for.
Don’t do like we did for years and pass bye this true gem.

When there are more than 10 cars parked around a traditional looking diner – you find a place to park! Very clean with friendly folks both serving and being served. Did I mention great food?! We stopped for breakfast; each got a platter so we sampled just about everything and found it to be delicious and cooked perfectly. Can wait to try dinner.

Initially, we stopped at this diner because it was on the same side of the road we were driving on, but once we pulled in and saw the old-​fashioned silver diner, we knew we were in for a treat.
I love this place and wish it was closer to my home.
The service was great — and I don’t mean five star great. I mean great as in the place was full of regulars and the server knew all of them and their preferences. We heard her laughing and talking with everyone. Her southern accent gave the atmosphere a little something extra. She didn’t treat us like the newcomers we clearly were.
The food was good, too and the menu was a nice size with plenty of lunch specials and a soup/​salad bar combination. It was reasonably priced, too.
This place is definitely being under «don’t forget this place if you travel through southern Delaware again.»
