Salsa and guacamole were good. My Steak was fatty, her chicken wasn’t anything special. Margaritas were tasty. Service was friendly

A 1 star review was bound to happen at some point. I wish it didn’t have to be an establishment in my town; I’m all about supporting local business but this establishment earned it. My best friend came home from Florida for a few days so we went for their buy1 get 1 margaritas. No food instead we munched on chips and salsa. Everything was going well until the bill came. Now given, it’s not always easy dealing with someone whose a few margaritas deep. And no matter how you words it: 2 for 1, 2 for the price of one, or half off, it’s essentially all the same price. But it’s buy 1 get 1, so when the bill comes out and there’s 15 margaritas on the check(I had 1, received my second and didn’t drink it because I was DD, WOOO responsible), things got hairy. Never have I seen a level of unprofessionalism this severe. The waitress brings the check and three of us wanted the second round on our margaritas. We were told it would have to be added onto the bill at 3.50 each. Everything went down hill from there, I watched the drama unfold from my corner of the table, Trying to understand why buy 1 get 1 free would be charged. At one point our waitress who had accumulated the attitude of the worst variety says«You guys have a problem with ME now.» Yes… she pointed to her self and said we all had a problem with her personally. All I could do was laugh. The conversation carried on until the manager stepped in… blowing my mind that she had waited for it to escalate this badly. She explained that each margarita is $ 7 dollars normally. Tonight they are $ 3.50. So when we ordered that last round expecting another«Free» one, we were paying for the other half. Transparency is key; if none of the margaritas are free, DON’T ADVERTISEBUY1GET1FREE. It confuses people, especially when you’re serving them alcohol. For the record, I also have eaten here in the past; you’re better off going to Don Juan or Margarita Café or lord knows anywhere else in a 5 mile vicinity. You lost some loyal customers last night El Coyote, not me, but some.

I’ve been here a few times, and last night was my most recent. I’ve never waited for a seat and the staff is very friendly. They put chips and salsa on the table right away and will keep refilling if you need– SCORE! After a very long day of work, all I wanted was a margarita and guac from El Coyote Loco. I got both and was so, so satisfied. They make the margs strong(I only needed 1) and the guac was delicious. A previous time, I had the fajitas and the plate came out sizzling and smelling so great! I have not been disappointed. My only criticism is that they asked a few times if we were done with our plates while we were still eating. Not a big deal, just odd.

We have passed this place so many times due to the fact it’s in a small shopping center, but we now go here once a month. The prices are reasonable, it’s very child friendly, and the food never disappoints! Monday’s are buy one get one free margaritas! =)

We arrived at 10:30 on Saturday night. The chips and salsa were amazing. My son got Chimichangas which came with rice and beans. Surprisingly my picky eater loved them! My husband got a chile rellano and enjoyed them. I got tamale combination which included A taco and enchilada. The food was really good. The gaucomole appetizer was excellent. The portions were large and the prices were fair. The service was a little inattentive but overall a pleasant experience.

Honest to God, this restaurant only deserves one star, just because the guacamole and the music was good. I am okay with going to a rundown Mexican restaurant if the food is authentically delicious. This was not the case. Calling this restaurant Mexican is a disgrace to Mexicans. You’re better off going to Taco Bell.

Great food, awesome staff. I’m vegan and while there is not a menu option for vegans they are extremely accommodating and willing to answer all of my questions about food preparation. Every person I’ve brought there has loved their food.

Went for first time tonight with my sister and her boyfriend. It was way early so we were the only ones there at first then the place started filling up. The server was extremely nice an pleasant. We started with the chips. They were ok but i like thinner ones better, just me. The salsa was good and i enjoyed it. I got the taco plate and they got a burrito and an avocado rellano. Everything was really tasty. I really liked the beans alot. I wish the rice was a bit more flavorful but the tacos were decent and we all left full of grub and happy. I didn’t drink but they had a wine and tecate and enjoyed them as well. Would def return.

Christina is the beyond most gracious host and the most attentive waitress. We’ve been coming for years and she’s always greeting us with a smile and giving the best service. As we go to many restaurants, we know this kind of service is hard to come bye. She’s a gem. The food-outstanding and I could drink the salsa!!! The stuffed avocado do not miss! Amazing!!!

I just recently started coming here! Food is great, i love the steak fajitas. Everything tastes really fresh, the chicken soup looks and tastes homemade. The raspberry daiquiri is delicious and refreshing. The salsa is really good, fun atmosphere, and just an overall good affordable dinner

By far the best authentic Mexican cuisine around. Has been a favorite of mine for years. Food always tastes so fresh and homemade. There’s nowhere else I would go if I was craving Mexican. Service is always so nice, friendly and attentive. Prices are fair, drinks are yummy. Try the frozen mango margarita. Great menu selection and everything I have tried has been delicious. Definitely a hidden gem.

El Coyote Loco is my favorite Mexican spot in Nassau. They seem to do everything right! Pros: The food and the service are both excellent. I’ve had the fish tacos, which are cooked perfectly and drizzled in an amazingly zesty sauce. I recommend getting them with the soft tortillas, as they pair perfectly with the crunchiness of the fried fish! Everything down to the tortilla chips and fresh, homemade salsa they start you with is absolutely yummy. Every drink I’ve ever had there is top-notch — margaritas in a variety of fruity flavors, and three different sangrias. Delicioso! The restaurant is festively decorated, and big enough to accommodate its patrons even without a reservation on a Friday night. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Cons: The prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected with most established Mexican restaurants.

Very good Mexican food, a little on the high side in terms of price. Their salsa is very good. They have a lot to choose from on their menu and offer combination plates if you just can’t decide. Definitely a place worth checking out.

We went back to Coyote Loco for dinner yesterday. I ordered a large burrito and my wife ordered a combo platter. Service was Ok but at times strange as the waiter said«im busy» when we were deciding to order. The food itself was rather tasteless and the rice was downright awful. We used a living social certificate which was the only saving grace of the night. Maybe a crazy coyote would like this food but for us it was pretty bad. The price to value ratio here is about average for this type of restaurant. I will not be returning to this restaurant until the food improves.

This is a decent restaurant. The nachos and tostones are awful. The fajitas and enchiladas are good. This place used to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, but lately they haven’t been all that good. The only reason that I still eat here is that it’s convenient.

I feel like I’ve driven past this place a thousand times but never went in here, now I’m glad I did! I came to have dinner here with my family. They arrived a few minutes before us and by the time we walked in there was already a pitcher of sangria on the table and chips and salsa to share. Their chips are obviously homemade and the salsa had a serious kick to it. The sangria was delicious. Not too sweet with a nice red wine taste. We split the large appetizer that had calamari, nachos, chorizo, taquitos, jalapeño poppers, and quesadillas. Everything was good. The chorizo was especially tasty. For my entrée I had the combination platter with a quesadilla, chimichanga, and taquito. I think I ordered wrong. The chimichanga and taquito were over fried making it hard to eat. The quesadilla was great especially with their homemade guacamole. And I loved their rice and beans, too. For dessert I had the churros and once again they were over fried. A shame. Now here is where things get interesting. My sister ordered the apple pie chimichanga for dessert. She made sure there was no pineapple due to an allergy. When it arrives she cuts into it and smells it, asks my other sister to try it, and they realize there is pineapple inside. They ask the waitress to take it away but first she goes into the kitchen to ask. She comes out and basically argues that the kitchen staff told her there wasn’t any. We politely state that we are willing to pay for it but would just like her to take It away. But, it doesn’t end there. She brings the plate around to the bartender and to all other waiters in the restaurant! I was appalled. She couldn’t let It go. The food was good and reasonably priced so I’d return. I’d just make sure I had a different person helping me.
