Great breakfast. Docks Benedict was perfect. Home fries with cheese and onions was perfect Saturday morning cure

Fine. It’s fine. Nothing stands out really, eggs bacon pancake, etc. Standard fare with VERY good service — great waitress. Only real issue: a tad casual with the prices. Normal café pricing with obligatory Sea Isle mark up.

This place has a lot of nerve charging the prices they charge for breakfast! $ 63 for 3 people for breakfast. I got the $ 10 order of peach pancakes which was nothing more than three mediocre pancakes with four little slivers of canned peaches plopped on top. 2 coffees and a sprite, $ 10.50. One egg, $ 4.00. There are no egg platters served with home fries like every other breakfast place on the planet instead you have to order their $ 5.00 side of dried up home fries. I could go on and on with just how ridiculously overpriced this place was, and I am far from cheap and I will pay extra but the quality was horrible the scrapple was not even edible. Then there was the atrocious service! I wish I knew the servers name but she never gave it, she had brown hair and a miserable mug. She was HORRIBLE!!! I was in the industry for a long time and typically over tip but not for this miserable bitch she got 10% and she’s lucky she got anything. STAYAWAY worst and most expensive breakfast I’ve ever experienced!!!

The food tasted fine, the oil/butter that they cook the food in wasn’t the best and not very flexible on substitutions.

This place serves up pretty standard breakfast food, but it’s forgettable. I ordered the pecan nut waffle, expecting a light and fluffy waffle infused with pecans and spices you would find in a pecan pie. I guess I expected too much… My plate was graced with a waffle that had some nuts thrown on top. Wow. For $ 2.75 more than a plain waffle, they added some nuts. It tasted fine, it just was extremely underwhelming. The waffle was somewhat dense too and didn’t have the large, crispy ridges I expect from a waffle.

I was always just lukewarm on Dock Mike’s. It’s pricey to be sure, but by itself that’s not the problem; it is the shore after all. The food and service were always just ok — A «passable» breakfast at a steep price. Which is why we’ve typically taken to going to other better places for our breakfasts out. Unfortunately with the Townsends Inlet Bridge still out of service(grrrrr!) we ended up at Dock Mikes instead of our typical favorite spot in Avalon. What a huge disappointment!!! Overpriced as always, but so many other problems with the experience. Our food came out sporadically from the kitchen — everyone was definitely not served simultaneously. Food was definitely not even up to normal sub-par standards. For me personally, the over light egg was done too far and hard. My sausage links were burned, and my cheddar grits were really only«cheddar» by virtue of the few strands of processed cheese that were sprinkled on the top of the runny flavorless grits. The fact that any cook or server would put that in front of a customer is a disgrace. Bad food + seriously high prices = NEVERAGAIN!!!

HORRIBLE!!! My son ordered chocolate milk and was served brown water with ice!!! Burger was burnt; asked for rare and coke had no syrup-just seltzer. The tea was ok… NEVERAGAIN!!!

This place has serving up shore breakfasts down to a science. Huge menu choices and the food comes out lightning quick. Quality is good, prices are on the high side. Don’t be intimidated by a long line out front. They turn tables over quickly.

Pricey but good size portions. Food was tasty but I expected the peppers in my eggs to be cooked. Waitress was efficient but sassy.

First time here and I really loved the breakfast. Everything was very tasty, portions are huge and the service was excellent. Very impressed that they offer gluten free pancakes, which were delicious! Having a family member with celiac disease I appreciate the gluten free option

Stay away. Incedibly overpriced, a complete waste of money. Went to Dock Mike’s this morning on the last day of our vacation in sea isle. We had a great experience at every restaurant up until that point. I ordered the spinach and feta omlet for $ 9.50. Now I understand that restaurants must charge a bit more in the height of the summer. However my omelet literally has 4 small pieces of feta on top. And guess what? homefries are not included! They want an extra $ 2.75 for that. I have never been to a breakfast joint that charged separately for home fries. If you want to price gouge that’s fine but at least give the customer a quality product. tldr: go to pretty much any other breakfast place in sea isle city for a better experience.

Dock Mike’s is great! Standard shore breakfast place with a million options. We split corn pancakes which were to DIE for! Jersey corn is in season right now– the pancakes were sweet due to the sweet corn and syrup wasn’t even needed. The eggs benedict was amazing and my egg white omelette was HUGE. Great place to go for weekend breakfast down the shore– just pricey.

My party of 9 was seated within 15 minutes. We had omelets, bacon and ham pancakes, chipped beef, and sausage gravy. All of them were excellent. The serving size is generous and you definitely get your money’s worth here. They only take cash, but there is an ATM inside.

Went here this morning with 5 people. Our waitress was very nice but seemed a little frazzled. I had sausage gravy over biscuits but it was nothing special; I could have made it better myself. I wouldn’t have minded paying the price if the food was great, but it was just good. I would suggest staying home and making your own food for breakfast and saving your money.

We were a group of 6 we got there around 11:30am they were very busy, however we got a table in about 15 mins tops, the owner himself was helping on seating the groups of people standing outside. This place pleasantly surprised me with the huge variety of traditional no fuss American Breakfast dishes. All you have to do is choose the right combination. The lady who was our waitress was also really fun to order from and deal with. They also had turkey bacon! which I like a lot :)

Excellent breakfast. Great waitress. Wide variety of breakfast options. All in all the food taste very good. Try the eggs Benedict! Only negative, it is a little bit pricey. But you must expect this at the beach. Summary, Great food, great selection, great service.

Delicious place for breakfast. Great pancakes! Be prepared to wait if you come on a summer weekend. This is more of a family place and not a lot of the young shore goers go there so good place to get away from that of that’s what you’re looking for.

Dock Mike’s Pancake House is alright. The options aren’t that great in Sea Isle for pancake houses. I had an omelet which was good. The service was a little slow. Being that there are tons of vacationers and only a couple sit down breakfast places, they will always be packed on the weekends. The food was good, but nothing to call home about. I didn’t like how toast and breakfast potatoes were extra on an already pricey Omelet. I guess you can kind of expect that for a business that may only do well in the summer. All in all I probably will stick to breakfast sandwich’s while in Sea Isle from now on.

A group of six of us headed over for breakfast late on a Sunday morning. I was expecting a huge wait for a table, but it ended up being maybe fifteen minutes. There was someone taking reservations right on the porch, so it made it super easy. We were seated and the waitress came right over. Sadly, I don’t like pancakes, but as far as the eye could see, there were pancakes everywhere — this had to be a good sign, right? We all placed our orders and after a short wait, the food arrived. All of the portions were pretty average, so I thought the pricing was a little high.(Typical in the vacation towns.) I ended up ordering the crabcake sandwich, which was just okay. The tartar sauce was really sweet and it kind of ruined my meal. I did like that the platter came with fries and coleslaw. Service here started off really well, but then really took a nose dive towards the end of the meal. We waited a good ten minutes until our waitress came over to give us the check. All-in-all, this was a pretty typical breakfast spot. I’d probably go here again if I was in the area to try something else of their pretty extensive breakfast/lunch menu.

The place felt very«home grown». The waitress we got had personality, in a kooky, slightly unprofessional way. I didn’t mind it though. I got the spinach and feta omelette with cheese home fries. The omelette was a little disappointing as the spinach seemed more like frozen spinach and not fresh. I didn’t enjoy the home fries so much either, they were soggy and the cheese topping was probably cheese whiz. For the quality of food, I thought it was overpriced.
