The sushi is fantastic here! The only other place we had that compared was Nagahama which is in Long Beach, NY. The restaurant is small and cramped, so be cognizant of that when making reservations. Our best experiences are on a Wednesday or Thursday evening. The specialty rolls are unique, and our favorite appetizer is the flaming scallops (if you like spicy). By far the best sushi place in the Sea Cliff/​Glen Head area. Enjoy!

Food was good and a great presentation but I found two bones in my sushi which was a complete turn off. The bill wasn’t cheap either for only two people. Nice place, very clean and the waitress was pleasant

This is the best sushi we’ve found on LI. It is excellent every time we go and/​or take out. The staff is also great, very helpful.

We had a great dinner here. All the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming! We snagged the perfect table outside and they were totally cool about the fact that we had our dog with us! We will definitely come back here again and again.
The Gyoza was amazing. I highly recommend this as an appetizer. We also had the guacamole which wasn’t the greatest, but not bad either.
Our waitress was so nice, she explained everything on the menu and even let us sample unfiltered sake because we had never tried it before! We ended up ordering filtered, but it was a nice gesture for her to do that for us.
My boyfriend doesn’t eat sushi, so he ordered the steak dish which is pretty small. This is not the right place to eat a full dinner if you don’t eat sushi! He said the mushrooms on this dish were the best he’s ever had!
I had the China Doll roll which was delicious and HUGE. I left so full!
We finished our meal with the green tea cheesecake bites. We were a little skeptical about them at first but WOW they were good! If you come here, definitely save room for this sweet treat!

Great restaurant. Terrific staff. The room is gorgeous and the food was delicious. Thoughtfully prepared, cleverly combined ingredients in «designer sushi rolls». Also very fresh sashimi. Owners and staff go out of their way to make you welcome. We will be going back.
