First time buying from TM and had a great experience. We are from the PACNW where we’d cut down our tree each year, so we are really picky. TM is the only lot that sells our favorite-the Silver Tip. The section of STips was smaller then all the others, but we found a beautiful tree. Their prices are high. Not as bad for trees under 10ft. The STip we picked was quoted at $ 170, but after they measured it, was slightly above 10′ which increased the price to $ 240! And while it was a beauty, to spend that when their prices are already high at $ 170, we were disappointed. However, in the spirit of giving, the gentlemen offered the tree to us at the originally quoted price and so we took it. Two younger guys helped tie it up on our roof rack. It is January 5th, the needles are STILL soft and it is still beautiful. I almost hate to take it down. We are meticulous in our care, creating our own preserve. So for those that said their trees have died, I am curious what they did once they left the lot. Is it expensive-yes. More than other lots. And not by a little. I get that we are looking at evergreen trees in the desert, but it would be nice to see more competitive pricing. If you love Silvertip trees, it is the only place to go. However, I hope next year they bring in a lot more to choose from. Will we go back-definitely.

OUTSTANDING!!! Wow — they have a wonderful lot and excellent customer service!!! We couldn’t be happier!!! Their delivery team is fantastic!!! We typically order our trees from Costco and have them deliver. This year was a disaster with Costco — bought and paid for a 9′ and received one under 5′! We couldn’t be happier with Tim Mitchell’s entire staff. They will get our business for years to come!!!

Drove 3 hrs to go to this place. They had great service and a great appreciation for military. With this appreciation came a great price! I will drive the 3 hrs again next year!

Being from back east I’m used to finding places selling Christmas Trees all over town, every gas station, vacant lot, mall parking lot you name it. But not in AZ. Given the few choices, I went to Tim Mitchels on Scottsdale Road at the 101 which was closest to my house. Bring your wallet and ALL your credit cards. Prices here are ridiculous…$ 250 easy for a run of the mill 6ft tree!!! Back east that same tree would be $ 30 – 50 everywhere. They charge $ 30 – 50BYTHEFOOT depending on the type you want. Crazzzzyyyyyyy. For the same price, rent a limo and have your family chauffeured up to Flagstaff, cut a tree down from any of the tree farms up there for ¼ the cost, have a nice meal out, and return home. It’ll be cheaper.

We bought a huge tree for the second year in a row. Last year it was fine. This year it has died prior to Christmas. We are having a big party on Christmas and my tree looks horrible and we are very upset. I called twice but only got an answering machine. We watered appropriately to no avail. It is dropping pines and dead. What a bummer.

Didn’t end up buying the tree. Really wanted to because it seems like a family run business and I think we actually met Tim, who seemed very nice. However, the rest of the staff could not be bothered. I asked 4 different people the price of an item and no one could answered. The trees seemed overpriced as well. Going to check out another lot.

Worst customer service, no Christmas theme, nothing for kids. Might as well go to Home Depot or the sorts if you just want a tree. Very disappointed after 5 years using this group we’ve found a better place obviously new employers owners or something.
