It’s easy to get a first appointment, but if you need follow up you can pretty much give up. They prioritize and hold open spots for new patients; however, make existing patients wait 3 – 4 months to get in even if there is an issue. My labs came back horrible and they said that they could just switch my dose and see what happens but i would have to wait to get another appointment for 4 months even though ZocDoc showed open appts for that week. They said they were for new patients. I’m guessing they make more money that way. Regardless, Dr Mishra’s team was quick to change my dose of medication without even a thought to ask what other new meds I had been on or what my vitals had been. It’s really sad to have a physician that prefers new patients over existing patients with problems. Time to find a new endocrinology office with better practice policies. The staff is pretty rude in addition to taking two weeks to call me back. Very frustrating!

The internal politics of this office is more important than seeing a patient that has been in the hospital for 3 weeks. Dr. Mishra is out of the country and although my daughter was intibated in ICU for 4 days and in the hospital for 3 weeks, no other doctor there would see her. We are switching practices now so that we can actually find a doctor that cares about the patient instead of worrying about stepping on a peer’s toes. AGAIN, what about the patient that can’t wait to be seen? We’ve gotten better care from our veterinarian for our dogs!

I wish I had a resource to see reviews on this medical group before I wasted time seeing them. Every time I’ve goon the time in the waiting room and then in the patient room has always been no less than an hour. Expect to wait 1 – 2 hours to see the doctor or nurse practitioner. I had to have an MRI due to irregular blood work, Simon Medical sent them information with 24hrs and when I called two weeks after the MRI, the records person still had not updated my records. I went back and forth with them trying to get results, I finally gave up and decided to contact Simon get a copy of my MRI and see a new endocrinologist. Back on July 13th I requested a copy of my records for the new doctor, followed directions, sent a form in and to this day nothing. My New Doctor has contacted them several times and no one has responded. I am really disappointed about the professionalism in this office and not having the curiosity to communicate, it just confirms there lack of concern for their patients and I know now I made the right choice by moving on with a new doctor.
