Finally found a spot I will return to in Texas. Very friendly, very clean and accommodating.

I went to get a shellac mani here since the reviews were pretty good. The lady (I didn’t get her name but she was an older lady) doing my mani asked me what shape I wanted my nails and I told her squoval (square oval). I did not get that! I got a hodge podge of all shapes. She also filed the length of my nails way down without asking me. So I had no option but to have short nails.
It was very clear with the filing and nail shaping she did not know what she was doing. I will never come here again. Which is unfortunate… the location is great, the shop is clean and I was seen immediately.

I just moved to the north east San Antonio area, and was in desperate need of a pedicure. I left behind an amazing nail technician that I had been going to for 10+ years. I googled and looked on Unilocal,read soooo many reviews and finally decided on this place.
I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon, hoping it wasn’t hella crowded, and to my surprise it wasn’t. There were a few women there but I was helped immediately when I walked in. From first sight it was clean and the staff was pretty friendly. I really liked that each customer got a new unopened bag of tools.
The pedicure I received was AMAZING!!! I got the #2 which was $ 30 (I think they have up to 10 you can choose from, very nice variety ranging from $ 25 and up). I don’t remember the woman’s name who did the pedicure but she was great!!! She took her time and made sure I was comfortable.
Overall I enjoyed it! Honestly nothing bad to say. Actually reminded me of the nail tech from back home. This was my first experience here and I am planning to go back. I’m hoping the service and quality will remain the same.

The service here is phenomenal! It’s reasonably priced, and the ambiance is great. Nancy did my nails and Bryant worked on my sister, and they were both very personable. Bryant was actually hilarious! We both got the #4 Pedicure Special with Queen Bee Honey, and my legs have never been smoother! Well worth the price! I’ll definitely be back!

I was looking for a salon while visiting my sister and we found a true gem!
My pedicure technician was Bryant. He’s amazaZing!!! Very funny and very good! I got the number four pedicure with the Queen Bee Honey Sugar Scrub and it was incredible. My legs and feet have never been so soft! Also very reasonably priced. My sister is local and I’m loathe that there isn’t a salon like this near me! But she will definitely be coming back. The salon is tucked away in a shopping center off of the frontage road but honestly it’s so worth it to come back here. Really relaxing atmosphere and they take their time! I will be returning on all of my visits! Thank you Nail and Day Spa!!!

Great nail salon, good prices. Every time I go in I am taken care of immediately and everyone is always professional. I use to go when it was under the old management, but I feel like the new management is more personable and genuinely wants to take care of their customers. Bryant and Nina are by far the best and I will continue going to this salon on a regular basis.

This place used to be my favorite, but out of nowhere they «changed management» and from what I could see, no one works there that used to. There may be one or two but I didn’t go back to the pedi area.
This time I went in for a simple shellac paint, nothing else. It was for my dad’s retirement I wanted to look my best and was flying out at 6am the next day.
They sat me down and started work, then someone wanted a wax and the manager sent my girl. So I sat there for 10 – 15 min the whole time the new manager guy kept taking calls or telling people «They don’t work here anymore but you come in and we guarantee you’re happy» while he was working on someone else.
The girl did the filing, now she’s painting and as she paints and takes my hand out of the uv, she files again! Anyone who’s ever painted nails knows not to do this, you’re supposed to cap the paint so it doesn’t chip.
After they were finished (took about an hour) it was a $ 27 charge! I would expect that for a manicure, not just paint.
I finished my day running errands, just as I’m about to go to bed I look down and a nail had already chipped badly. Extremely embarrassing for me since I couldn’t get it fixed, got off the flight went straight to retirement and had to shake each one of my dad’s coworker’s hands with chipped nails.
I was out of town for a week, by then most of the nails were all chipped, didn’t go back since this «guarantee» sounded like more trouble than it was worth. I will never go back now, too bad because I really loved this place.
TL;DR
Long story short: new management is awful, much more expensive than it used to be, if they try to file when your nails are painted, stop them immediately, most expensive manicure that lasted less than 4 hrs

Never too crowded, they have Appts & walk-​ins but there’s one man that’s kind of rough with the calf massage!

I go once a month for my nails, and once every 3 months for a pedi. Most of the techs are great. 9650

If I could really give this place 2.5 I would. Went in for a basic manicure and it took the guy over 1 and half hours on it! Wouldn’t have minded except I didn’t have that kind of time. Water was cold when I was soaking my nails which was a negative. And he did a sloppy paint job. Very through on my cuticules which was a plus. Mani cost was $ 15 which I thought was high for what you got. I’ll try their pedi next time just in case this was and «off» day.
