Navii Salon Spa

I have been coming here for years and absolutely love this place. Everyone here is great and super friendly. I see Ruby and Shannon and they’re both amazing at what they do. Highly recommend this place and those girls to everyone looking for an excellent salon and stylist!

I’ve gone to Navii before, and they’ve always done a great job cutting my hair. I have hair almost down to my waist and I decided I want to cut and dye it. I haven’t dyed my hair in over 5 years, but I was dead-​set on doing some bayalage on my hair. I went to Veronica, and she did an A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G job. She did exactly what I asked and it turned out amazing. My hair is dark brown naturally so I was nervous about adding blonde. Veronica made sure my hair turned out exactly how I pictured, and carefully applied and checked on my hair color. She also cut my hair to perfectly compliment my new color. I will definitely be going back. I can’t wait to see how my bayalage continues to develop!

Having just moved to the region from Denver, I was looking for a salon that would fit my budget, along with my hair needs. After reading the Unilocal reviews for Navii I decided to try it out, and I am so happy I did! I just had my hair cut by Veronica, and she was fantastic. She listened to me while also giving her own suggestions and I couldn’t be happier with my cut. All the girls in the salon were incredibly nice and fun and I will definitely be a returning customer!

I was really nervous when I came in because my last haircut was hard to remember lol Anyways I was scared, having curly thick hair, I didn’t want my hair looking like a «book shelf «again. Veronica cut my hair and she cut it perfect. I never felt more beautiful til now. Thank you Veronica.

This review is in regard to the waxing services I had done here prior to my wedding. I had my eyebrows, upper lip, and chin waxed. As far as the eyebrows and chin go, I was very disappointed as it seemed as though my they both looked exactly the same as before I got done. I ended up having to tweeze all of the hairs myself when I got home. I called and complained about this, and they told me I would need to schedule a time the next day to come in and look at them to give me a refund, but the next day was my wedding day! Needless to say I did not have time to go back.
The lady was able to get most of the hair from my upper lip, but I still had to tweeze some hairs myself when I got home. But now 3 days later there is a line of pimples all across my upper lip and on the lip itself! It’s disgusting and painful! I should have just shaved my upper lip and tweezed everything myself from the beginning, because what a WASTE of money!
I will never be getting waxed again at this salon or anywhere else ever again because of this experience.

My first visit to this salon was in 2003. This is the best salon I’ve ever been to in terms of quality & customer service. I have been to other hair salons & spas in Indiana, Chicago, Washington, D.C., North Dakota, Hawaii & Norway. I went to navii for my hair & makeup for my wedding in 2010. I continue to go there. Navii treats their customers with respect & recognizes that their customers are the ones who keep their business running. I go to Ashley P. for my hair. She is a hair expert. She is professional, nice & has amazing talent to cut, style, color hair. I often get complements on my hair. I also go to Stephanie for my waxing. She is professional, friendly & great at what she does. Both of these girls listen to what you are saying & your ideas. They will also recommend things based on what you say & their professional experience. They take their time & do not rush. They work as a team & will help each other out, especially the hair stylists. The owner Tracy & two managers, Betsy & Ursula, talk to their clients like they are friends, but are always professional & respectful. I recently went to Tilly for a massage b/​c my chiropractor’s office was not available. The massage was amazing. I have a back condition, which she was knowledgable about & mindful of when giving the massage. Navii offers great, top of the line products. My husband & I travel to Hawaii often & Navii’s face products are found in JW marriott spas. Navii’s products are not cheap, but they are superior products that you can only find at professional salons. One more thing is that they give back to the community & raise money for local charities, which I think says a lot about their core values. Obviously, you can tell, I love this place!

I was searching for an awesome salon in my neighborhood and lo and behold it was only a few miles away! I have an adoption reunion to attend where I will be meeting my biological family members face-​to-​face, for the very 1^st time in my life. So this was more than just an extremely important cut and style for me! It was a complete 1^st impression.
Let me just start by saying that I am one tough customer when it comes to my hair. VERY picky. I’ve had extremely long hair most all of my life and had not had my hair cut in over 20 years. I am almost never satisfied when I leave a salon so I simply let my hair just grow out over the years – rather than have it butchered.
After almost two months of due diligence on salon spas from Hammond, IN to downtown Chicago I decided to trust my very important new look to Navii and I am SO glad that I did!
I chose Navii due to it’s outstanding reviews online as well as for it’s Spiritual ideals and atmosphere + their commitment to environmental consciousness.
Nervous to make the call. I did so to make my appointment at almost 7pm on a weekday and spoke with Betsy who made me feel at ease immediately. She was kind enough find time for me the next day despite such short notice.
Gorgeous salon spa! The entire staff was fun, friendly, informative, professional and helpful. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was seen immediately.
Bosa was my stylist, (love her and will be returning FOREVER!!) She truly LISTENED and understood what I wanted after I showed her some examples of how I wanted to wear my hair short. I was lucky as well to chat with owner Tracey, who graciously took time to consult with Bosa and I on color and highlight choices.
I received the BEST cut, color & highlights that I’ve ever had. Bosa took the time to explain what she was doing, and gave me some tips on how to best work with my hair – along with a detailed list of products (totally without pushing them on me!) that she used to get the most awesome results that she did with my hair. I absolutely adore my new short cut!
Hubby arrived before I was finished and he enjoyed a complimentary beer while lounging on the comfy leather over-​stuffed chairs in the wait area. Also awesome? The services were so reasonably priced that I had some cash left over to have lunch with him afterwards! :)
I will absolutely be returning to Bosa to maintain my wonderful hair style. I will also be visiting Candi for a beautiful manicure and Tillie for lovely message services in the very near future! Finally, a salon/​spa that I can be confident in and commit to.

This salon is absolutely wonderful! Best one by far in the Northwest Indiana region. I love coming here, such a relaxing experience and you always leave feeling great about yourself.

I just modeled for Candi at a hair show and she did such a beautiful job styling my hair! She was so sweet and my hair was definitely the best looking of the bunch! If you want a gorgeous chic hairstyle she is definitely your gal. I wish she lived closer to me so she could do my hair all the time!

They have it all here at this full service salon and spa! They really go above and beyond to service their clients. I always walk out of there with a better experience than I could have asked for. I hightly reccomend Navii to all in the NWI and South Chicagoland area.
