Hit the spot! Healthy, warm and delicious! Good portions and very well cooked! I stopped here while on the road but it was definitely worth it!

My husband and I went to Namu today. Although it passed 2:00pm but it still served great food for lunch. I had hot stone bibibamp with Bougogi beef and my husband had teriyaki salmon lunch box. Both tasted deliciously and had very nice presentation. Our waiter was really good and took great care of us. He looked like a Korean actor and had great manner when helping us with the food. We really enjoyed our fist time visit in Scarsdale and this lunch.

This place can be summarized in one word: FANTASTIC. After seeing PSY’s hit music video Gangnam Style in 2012, I became very interested in Korean culture, and I really wanted to try some traditional Korean food. I am SO glad I chose this restaurant, because not only does the food taste great, it’s also really healthy.(I’m a diabetic, so the low carb count was definitely a plus.) I cannot wait to eat here again in the not-too-distant future!

I agree with others who say that this is «watered down» Korean. If you are used to Korean food from Flushing or 32nd st, you might be disappointed with Namu. If you have not tried Korean food ever, then this might be a good option. The pork bulgogi was not spicy at all. The chicken bulgogi was overcooked/dry and lacked flavor. The wings were good, but my whole order consisted of no drums(less meat). We did come here pretty late around 8pm, so maybe they were off their game.

Korean Fusion cuisine by a first generation Korean Chef and family owned in Scarsdale, NY, and top notch-masi-sseo-yo delicious! Asian cuisine in a 40 mile southern CT radius is a disgusting mix of Thai — Japanese — Chinese interchangeably cooked by those who dummy the cuisine to the tastebuds of locals who couldn’t tell you where these places are on a map. Korean is non-existent before Northern Blvd and maybe a place in New Haven and White plains(two overpriced and decent not great) H-Mart is also good there. That is history of Asian Cuisine until Namu in Scarsdale where you can enjoy the ambience and staff and the locals who are coming here and enjoying a Korean menu with a twist. Bulgogi tacos, kimchi stew, kimchi pancakes, and pork bulgogi, and full service bar; I like the first try to be bulgogi or kalbi but now I’m going to explore some other great dishes. They may not have nakji, but this is well worth the trip and a pleasant find with this top notch chef Daniel Choi(I hope I have his name right). Scarsdale and Korean Cuisine WOW!!! Ga-ja!!!

They omitted the most expensive vegetable on their vegetarian delight dish(asparagus) and just doubled up on broccoli. When we called them out on it, they offered to make it with asparagus, which tells me they left it out intentionally the first time. Manager made no apology and we were charged full price for the dish. If you’re going to have a vegetarian dish, make sure you’re not taking shortcuts. People will notice. This is especially aggravating because we were testing that dish for a vegetarian family member we would have brought on a return trip. If the chef(and I use that term loosely) would have told us upfront we would have ordered something else. Servers were good. Kimchi is fantastic. Bulgogi is way too sweet with very little garlic flavor. Spring rolls are unimaginative clear noodles wrapped and deep fried, served with no sauce. Boo. Total bill with tip was $ 80 and change. We will not be going back.

Good food and great service. It was 2 couples on a Friday night and not too crowded. The other couple knew exactly what to order so we left it to them. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian dishes more so than the meats. I didn’t try anything grilled though. But I liked it enough to want to go back for a more thorough meal.

Here’s the long and short of it. Namu has very good food and some interesting menu options. The spicy chicken tacos were delicious. My wife had the Asian salad and we had both the chicken and beef bulgogi which was nicely marinated and very tasty. Now the bad news. The service was horrid. We waited 25 minutes for our appetizers, I know cause I timed it. If it wasn’t for the busboy who ran interference several times(and whom I tipped separately) I’d still be there. I think the young girl who was my waitress seemed to have her hands full and a bit lost. This seems to be the prevailing theme with the reviews I read here. There was however another waitress who seemed to be be much better. The rating is for the food, the service would have been 2 stars.

So I’ve been meaning to check this place out for a while, and finally did tonight. I went with a friend for a belated bday dinner. When we walked in it was pretty quiet and the hostess gave us a choice of seats. As we sat I made a comment to my friend about running back outside to grab my jacket because it was chilly in the restaurant. As we sat, the hostess asked if I would like her to turn the ac down, and then promptly did so. Awesome! We sat and chatted and the waitress quickly came over to ask about cocktails. We ordered and were served quickly. We then ordered apps and main courses and were met almost immediately with an array of soup, kimchi and other delicious samplings. Our appetizer, beef dumplings came out soon after. DELICIOUS. We the got our main courses — Bibimbap with kalbi beef and Korean tacos(also kalbi beef). Both entrees were absolutely delicious, and I will definitely be returning to try more! Overall great service, ambiance and food.

Surprised by tasty Korean in Scarsdale. This new restaurant has great service, although they aren’t all versed in Korean food just yet(questions as to flavours and favourite dishes were lost on our server). Pork Bulgogi and Traditional Kalbi were agreed to be the tastiest dishes, but the theater of the bibimbap was appareciated by the table and I heard no complaints there either. Next time, we try the tacos!

Went there for lunch on a Sunday morning. Place is still pretty new and working through kinks of a new restaurant opening. Staff was super friendly and attentive which made for a nice experience. I would like to revisit when they are more settled as I think the place has great potential. We ordered dumplings as an appetizer and they were delicious. Entrees were a few items including bibimbap, but there was very little seafood and the calamari was tough. A nice place that will work well in Scarsdale once the place settles down. Dishes also need more consistency — meaning the volume of starters, accompanying dishes and the volume of protein in the dishes. Will try it again

Ate at NaMu tonight for the first time and had an overall pleasant dinner. The staff seemed very attentive and the service overall was great. I love Korean food but felt the food here was a bit safe. It was good but not something I would probably crave and want to go back for(whereas some Korean restaurants just have signature dishes you crave every now and then). If you are craving Korean in westchester, there aren’t too many options so you might be very glad NaMu opened. The banchan is lukewarm – some pickles(the flavor at least was good), kimchee, and salad. Where’s the fish? Red bean? Calamari? Or even the weirdly adopted ambrosia salad? I guess they’re trying to be more minimalist but it left me wanting more. Still, a solid restaurant for Westchester county. We had the fried chicken, dumplings, udon, salmon, kalbi, and bulgogi bibimbap.

This is the nicest Korean restaurant in the area. Pleasant décor, really nice bar area. The lunch specials are delicious, been here for dinner four times and everything has been good. The dukbokki is too spicy, and I love spicy(and I’m Korean). Seriously mouth on fire spicy. When I’m craving KFC, their wings hit the spot.
