Service was not that great. Had to ask several times for ice before we received it. It took a long time to get a beer, also. Portions are extremely small and over priced. Make sure you eat something before you go. $ 780.00 for 6 people. That included a 20% tip. Never again.

Went here for dinner with my family and had a very enjoyable meal. Sat at the bar which was nice and clean and had a refreshing cocktail. The bartender, Jorge, was very professional and had a great sense of humor. Prior to your meal, you are served a small tasting plate of bread and olive oil. I had a chicken tagine and my family had the salmon with grilled fennel. The portions are small but very flavorful. The setting is beautiful. The prices are a bit high. Nice place for a date night.

This place is insanely overrated. Went a few times only Bc we had a groupon(which I still isn’t worth it). I had fillet mignon. It was ok. Not too flavorful. The crostini crackers were good but insanely overpriced. Drinks r good but hardly any alcohol and over priced. I will probably never go back unless there’s a groupon get 100 dollars for 30 bucks.

I love this location. Outdoors is always fun. Crostinis, Fig tart, carpaccio, and funghi pasta. I love it! Bill can be pretty high but I always leave full and satisfied knowing the ingredients had that freshness! Servers can be hit or miss.

We were going to meet a friend for lunch at Eastchester Fish. When we got there the place wasn’t serving lunch so we went to Fig and Olive instead. All I can say is WOW. The place is lovely, the dishes and glassware is nicely styled and the wait staff was very accommodating. But the food was outstanding. Really. I have an onion allergy and was easily able to get some dishes on the prix fixe menu to please me. My friend has more severe requirements and our waiter worked with her to get her the food she could eat and wished to eat. All in all a very good lunch and I am looking forward to returning soon.

I’ve been to Fig & Olive a few times(both this location and one of the Manhattan locations) and I have only had the best experiences. This location is five minutes from my parents house and we like to go occasionally for lunch, but this time we had dinner on a Saturday night and it was great! We had a Groupon for 2 people so we decided to use it and just order more food since there were 3 of us. The service is incredible, as usual. Our waiter did not treat us any differently even though we had a Groupon, which I know at some restaurants they will do. The food was amazing! We got two branzino dishes and a truffle mushroom pasta as well as their famous crostini. So yummy! We will definitely be back!

I have been to this particular fig and olive twice regrettably. The first time was for lunch when we ordered some apps and dessert. Service was okay then. Possibly because it wasn’t too busy. Recently me and my husband em went here for dinner and experienced some of the slowest service ever. The waiter pretty much ignored our table after dinner was served for a good one hour and then after he gave us the dessert menu, he didn’t come back to our table for another 45 minutes. By that time we lost interest in ordering dessert. As for food, I had the risotto that was okay. My husband had the filet mignon which was a ripoff. Two small slices of meat for $ 40. Not even the best we’ve had. Unlikely to ever be returning here. There are way better places out there with timely service and good food.

Came here for 2016 Restaurant Week or so I thought. We found out that the special menu for $ 29.99 is not valid on Saturday nights… unlucky us. The inside the Restaurant is spacious with great mood lighting and I love the fact that the bar area has plenty of seating. The selection on Winter Season Menu is extensive with a lot to offer, but it is pricy$$$ — Appetizer ranges from $ 12 — 19, Salads $ 12 — $ 21 and if you want meat or fish you need to add a few more dollars, and the main dishes Pastas, Fish, Meat range $ 21 — $ 39. I ordered the Provence Roasted Chicken for $ 29, it was not dry it was moist and delicious. My friend ordered the Veal Milanese for $ 34 the breaded veal was cooked to perfection. They also have a extensive wine selection if you enjoy wine. We did not order Dessert, but the menu items looked yummy. All and all, I would come back here to eat, but only for a special occasion or for Restaurant Week during the week since they do not offer the $ 29.99 on a Saturday night.

Excellent food, service and drinks! It is a perfect atmosphere for a dinner date or Sunday brunch. The manager kept checking to see if everything was ok even though the place was full. That’s what great service is about. And the food… Just divine !

Lets start this review by saying this is going to be lengthy so I can explain to you ALLTHETHINGSTHATWENTWRONGTHROUGHOUTTHENIGHT. This restaurant is getting two stars only because the food was not horrible. However, the service was TERRIBLE. I can say I am not a overly picky person and definitely understand that restaurants can get busy and things happen. The part that makes me angry is once the problem we had was addressed directly to the waiter we did not receive any apology or acknowledgment that the waiter provided poor service. So lets start from the beginning. Our waiter, Victor, came over to us right away to offer water and let us look over the drinks menu. About 20 minutes later I thought it had been long enough and got Victors attention to give in our drinks order. He did not come to us right way but told me to wait a minute then headed in our direction. We placed our drinks order along with a cheese plate(which was very good) all at once because I had a feeling it would be awhile before Victor decided to come over to ask us for the app order. Once we received the bread and our app all was well. About 25 minutes later, we are done with our cheese plate and I am nearly finished my glass of wine with no sighting of Victor to place our dinner order. We waited another 5 minutes after finishing the cheese plate for me to get Victors attention once again to place our dinner order. When Victor came over I even said«oh nice to see you again» and his response… «oh yes nice to see you again as well». I guess he didn’t get that we had been waiting to place our order. Dinner was very tasty, we had no problems with the food. Once we finished our dinner Victor came over again, not to ask«would you like to see the dessert menu or would you like to hear about the desserts tonight» … He simply placed the menus in front of us and went about his way. The only bad part about the meal itself would be the desserts they have on the menu, they were not good. After we finished dessert we waited about 15 minutes before once again I had to get Victors attention to ask him for our check. Once we placed our credit cards to split the bill between myself and my sister we had to get his attention ONCEAGAIN(he was folding the napkins for another table that was in his section while those patrons attended the bathroom) to tell him we were ready with our payments. which he responded… not by coming over to our table and getting the check. but by saying«I will be with you in a minute». Was folding the napkins on a table more prevalent and imperative then taking our check? I would understand if he was in the middle of speaking to other patrons directly, taking orders, speaking to management about a problem, etc. but he was doing none of that, he was busy folding napkins for a table that was well into their meals like we were. Once he brought our check back, I decided to ask him what the problem was. Why was he so inattentive to us yet he was so attentive to all the other tables around us in his section. He was very standoffish and immediately said you can talk to the manager if you had any problems. We were not looking to talk to the manager, if we were we would have asked for them directly. I was honestly interested in knowing what the problem was with him directly since he was the one who provided the poor service. He did not acknowledge we had a problem, did not apologize, just walked away and got the manager. The manager Christopher gave us a apology that was not sincere and added«that is interesting we have never had an issue with Victor in the last 5 years he has been working here ». OK great, I am glad Victor has been an exemplary waiter for the last 5 years, however, tonight he was not and that is what you are here to discuss. Christopher rang out our check and somehow managed split the bill by charging one credit card twice. Thankfully we were paying attention and noticed that only one card had been charged twice and addressed it with him. SO make sure you double check your cards when paying. Overall I was very disappointed in the way my sister and I were treated. I was not looking to get compensated in any form for the poor service, just to address it and understand why it occurred. Which did not happen even after the manager gave me his so called apology. Oh also when I mentioned to Christopher that I was going to review this restaurant on Unilocal his response was«what can I do for you. so you do not put a negative review on Unilocal». He could have given a sincere apology and acknowledged his employees mistake.

Came to Fig & Olive on a Sunday night to treat my best friend for an early dinner. I was definitely impressed by Fig & Olive. Dining at a storefront restaurant is really not my bag of chips, but, I am in Scarsdale… How bad can it can it be? The restaurant is very ample and has plenty of seating. The bar as well, is brimming from wall to wall. The interior is natural with an «I’m-out-somewhere-in-the-fields“energy– which was cool. What I liked the most also, is that Fig & Olive counter-balances the softness of the décor, with something industrial, hip and funky. Some of their tables were just slabs of metal– which I was just digging. Food was delicious. I ordered the lamb(which as cooked to perfection) in Rosemary skewers. I always enjoy a very well– seasoned lamb and Fig & Olive brought it. There was a small wrinkle towards the end, and felt a tad neglected from our server. Nonetheless, food was nicely done and my chocolate dessert was the bomb!

I came here on a Sunday for brunch with my husband. We had a reservation and the place was completely full. We were seated quickly, although I realized after the fact that there were seats outside and I would’ve preferred outdoors, but nobody asked me. Our server seemed very much in a rush and it was a little off-putting. My hubby has a big appetite so we each ordered a dish AND a side. I ordered the truffled scrambled eggs(served with side salad) and a side of the cured salmon. He ordered the salmon poached eggs with a side of the applewood bacon. The side of salmon was HUGE — it could be a meal in itself! It was extremely fresh, as well and was served with a yummy dill cream. My eggs were delicious and served in a skillet atop a wooden cutting board. I thought the cutting board was cute but impractical as my salad greens kept falling off of it onto the table. :-/ They do have a pre-fixe brunch menu but we opted not to do that because the meals we wanted weren’t offered AND we didn’t want dessert. The coffee here was great, although not super hot. Good meal, beautiful place. We ended up leaving pretty full. AND — if you book on OpenTable you can pay from your phone without waiting to receive the bill from your server. We were happy about that because we were in a bit of a rush.

I love this place! First, let’s talk about all the different types of olive oil that they bring you with your bread: amazing. delicious. stupendous idea. Next, let’s talk about the wonderful service from beginning to end. Then, let’s talk about the lovely ambience: just simply clean, relaxing and classy. Lastly, those desserts. Oh, those desserts. Needless to say, I will be back again.

The food was amazing. BUT!!! Be prepared to dig deep in your pockets. The Sea Bass was so soft and juciey. I had the filet mignon which was absolutely delicious. But the down side was the size(6oz). Services was great also, but it feels like they pressure you to order several items on the menu.

I have been wanting to dine here for probably 5+ years. Tonight we finally did! I purchased a $ 65 groupon that was a 3 course meal for 2 people. Included was 1 appetizer(up to $ 19), 2 entrees(up to $ 36), 1 dessert(up to $ 12) and 2 drinks(up to $ 12). I had made a reservation for 6:30 and we arrived 6:40(bc I’m never on time no matter how hard I try). We were seated right away and once seated I mentioned to the hostess that we had the groupon. She took my phone, redeemed the deal then brough over groups menu breaking down the deal. When our friendly came over we order 2 glasses of the Malbec to start. I noticed that the appetizers few said $ 19 value but their crostini’s are 3 for $ 11 or 6 for $ 20. I had asked him if we could order the 6 and pay the $ 1 difference but he told me no bc the system wouldn’t allow it. So for our app Hubby and I opted for the Fig Gorgonzola Tartlette. I decided on the Filet Mignon and he had the Lamb Chop — both we requested Med/Rare. While we waited for our appetizer to come out our server brough us Rosemary Bread with 3 different oils infused with different herbs — Spanish, Italian, and Greek. Honestly, I didn’t care for any of the olive oils and was a bit disappointed. The Fig Tartlette came out within a timely manor and was scrumptious. A good amount of time passed before we got our entrees so of course we ordered 2 more glasses of wine($ 12 each). Like I mentioned walker both Hun y and I orders our meat Med/Rare. Neither of ours were actually cooked M/R. My Filet was more a medium, but it was so tender I didn’t complain to my waiter. Hubs got 4 chops in total — 1 was M/R, 2 were medium and 1 was med/well. We found that kind of odd but he too liked his meal and didn’t bother to say anything. For dessert we chose the Fig & Olive Tasting platter which came with: Dessert«Crostini», Chocolate Pot de Crème, Crunchy Praline & Panna Cotta. Hubby and I shared each one. My fav was the Crunchy Praline — omg amazing!(we also had coffee which was $ 4 a cup but you get about 3 cups in the little pot). In total we had to pay an extra $ 40 not including tip. I left very full and happy. Our server was wonderful and was always around whenever we needed him. Would I return? Yes but only if I had another groupon! This restaurant is way too pricy for us. NYC prices in Westchester… Eh, not my ideal restaurant price wise, but I would def return.

I love Fig & Olive. Been fan of the midtown location in Manhattan. I was excited to hear that they opened up a location in Scarsdale/Eastchester. I came here for the 1st time recently for my sister in law’s birthday brunch. The place was pretty empty when we got there around 12PM, but it filled up very quickly. The food service was a bit slow, but granted, we were a large group. The Bloody Mary had a nice kick and tasted fresh. I love the complimentary bread with the trio of various olive oils that they provide. This time around i was only able to distinguish 2 of the. Wish they were infused but they were your generic olive oils from different locations. The prix fixe brunch is the way to go if you want to get value for your buck. The provencal carrot and thyme soup wasn’t as sweet as i expected. It was actually quite warm and taste and soothing. The Grilled Thyme chicken Paillard was yummy and flavorful. The chicken was a tad dry but i think it is due to the fact that they use very thin tenderloins, so it can be overcooked quite easily. The dessert crostini was yummy. It was sweet and tart and crispy. Def willing to come back for dinner.

We’ve been to the Fig and Olive in Manhattan several times, but this was our first visit to the Westchester location. Fig and Olive never disappoints. The meal starts off with a complementary olive oil tasting, with three types of oil accompanied by squares of bread to dip… Already a good start! For appetizer, I ordered the burrata cheese which is served over heirloom tomatoes, beets, and orange segments. Others at the table got the seated scallops and crab cakes. For entrée, I ordered my usual — the chicken Tagine. The chicken comes cooked with vegetables in a flavorful broth. Couscous is served on the side along with several condiments. The chicken is fall-off-the-bone-delicious. My dining companions had lamb chops, and branzino. Everyone was happy with their meals. For dessert, I shared my husband’s apple tart, which comes with vanilla ice cream on the side… The perfect way to end the meal! Overall, this is a great Westchester restaurant, and we will definitely be back.
